Funny, guess it depends on how deep you are into hoarding and how long. I've met some extreme hoarders and I can assure you, chances you are not that bad and can still walk through your house.

I call my place an organized disaster.

At least you are organized....can't say that about here. We just KNOW that we have that whatchamacallit, but just where it is we can't say.

Oh, oh, oh....I got it, I got it!! Raven, you NEED a personal assistant. Yours truly would apply for the job - after all I manage to keep lawyers on track and an office fairly well organized...a farm shouldn't be that much of a stretch!! LOL Of course, you'd have to understand that I DO require an hour lunch and two coffee breaks and I charge extra for "project management". :)

Since we can afford to pay you $0 then lets say double that for project management LOL
Seriously, if you lived closer I could use your help in that area especially!

Fair enough!! But, maybe I can start planning my next summer vacation at the farm - you can give me a "to -do" list and turn me loose. I do best with minimal supervision, but I should tell you, I used to make my mother crazy. I'm left handed, so when I would set things up/organize stuff, I always did it in such a way that was convenient and made sense for me....she thought I did everything ass-backwards....just a warning! LOL

Well I broke down and ordered two aladdin lamps from Lehman's. Yea, they're a little pricey, even more now than 6 months ago, but now they're at my house rather than at the store. I haven't stumbled on to any cheaper ones so I just went for it. They showed up today and are pretty nice but don't look like much for the price tag. I ordered the kit that comes with extra mantles and chimney. They also have a large kit, I think they call it a "three year supply" of extra parts but at almost $200 I don't think so. Maybe if you planned on useing them all the time like the amish but we have many plain oil lamps for general light so these will only be needed for much light purposes. One would have been fine but you know, one is none, two will do.

Nice to have, they're the "Cadillac" of non-electric light! With two of them, you should be able to do brain surgery in the middle of the night! :)
