Thanks for a neat site, Raven. I like the idea of a pallet garden and it would be perfect for anyone with limited space. She also had a plan for a mini herb garden using an old BBQ grill that was interesting. I think it would be a wonderful project for a kid. She planted flowers in her pallet garden, but I think herbs would be good, too.

The kitchen garden is what I thought of...salad garden, herb garden even a strawberry tower. You could put up a row of them for a backdrop by a patio or deck.

The Sr Center does vertical gardens since they can be worked on in a chair/wheelchair. They also use pots and bales stacked and planted. They need frequent watering but sure make picking fruit easy!

Yes, very frequent watering is the pay-off for the ease of planting and care of any container-type gardening. But, that isn't a huge issue for a lot of people.
