http://global.christianpost.com/news/north-dakota-police-use-150m-predator-drone-to-rescue-cows-64823/ http://technolog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/14/9446749-computer-worm-forces-hospitals-to-turn-away-patients These are two cases of how precarious our situation is. The first describes how a local sheriff's office used a FEDERAL impliment and personel to take out the rustlers of 6 cows! They say that they were anti-government people that held guns (oh my). So those of you who think that their local sheriff is an all around good guy should know that the people of this area thought the same. They still do because it was used to take out someone that scared them...someone that was different in their thinking. It doesn't take much to turn them to "the dark side". The second is about a computer that was so badly infected that they had to turn away patients. Now that Iran has our drone (or two) with our stately self important chia pets wringing their hands in public and shrugging their shoulders in private, all it takes is some reverse engineering to have us in the cross hairs. Couple some renegade drones with a well place EMP and we are back to throwing stones for protection. Want to take bets on how long before they impliment the hoarding law? Which by the way includes all firearms and ammo. |

I have a real problem with the absolute ridiculousness of the hospital being totally shut down because of a computer virus. The sentence, "staff were forced to run paper copies of documents from station to station rather then through the network..." OMG! Poor things!!! I am going to assume the virus had no effect on the the nurse call lights, the kitchen's ability to prepare meals and the doctors' ability to perform rounds! How pathetic!! As for the story on the drone use against U.S. citizens, I find that disturbing. The fact that the article portrayed the family as "separatists" really takes the idea of impartial journalism to a low level, doesn't it!? |

I have no way of verifying it, but a top Iran scientist is saying they brought down the drone with a flying saucer ship. . .I'll go look for the story but I think I read it on GodLikeProductions Another story going viral from there is: The $100,000,000 Penny http://www.godlikeproductions.com/external?http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Ffeature%3Dplayer_embedded%26v%3D3dl1y-zBAFg Sorry I couldn't decode the link but it should work. Here's the link for the Iran Saucer: http://members.beforeitsnews.com/story/1508/556/Spy_Drone_Captured_by_Iranian_Flying_Saucer.html Take it all with a grain of salt, but taking down a drone is no small feat. |

Now they have two of them and they don't find it worth of much more than page 5 news in mainstream media. Kinda makes me wonder about complicity, but there I go with my tin foil hat theories again. |

They have already decoded them and have offered them back to the US! So much for being superior technologists here. We won't hear anything about that either....except Internet news sites. |

Interesting video, HF. Although I am not scientifically well educated enough to know if the causes sited for that behavior are correct, I AM smart enough to realize that, whatever the causitive agent, people really ARE animals!! And, the video points out that fact and asks the question, 'If they act like this over saving $25 on an iPod, how do you think they'll act when society as they know it fails?' Food for thought....reason for bullets... |

Here's something worth taking the time to read. Pretty unsettling stuff, to say the least. ALthough, since this was written, it appears that N. Korea has taken a bit less harsh of an approach to the U.S., as evidenced in the recent press release that did not once mention destroying the evil empire of captialism - the U.S.! Maybe better than expected. http://www.yolohub.com/economy/north-korea-the-most-bizarre-country-on-earth-is-now-even-more-unstable |
