Been reading up on fuel "extending devices", one is called a vaporizer and the other an atomizer. There are also different nozzles available for under $50 but they don't appear to have the results the first two do. They both make a fine mist out of gas but I haven't read where any increase diesel. Some claims are 50% more power plus better fuel mileage, depending on the fuel injector system, gas mileage increase of up to 30% and sometimes more, but that's a general increase....some are saying 80 miles to the gallon. These apparently work on all engines as some YouTube videos use a pop bottle to do the same thing on a lawn mower, just search because there are many to choose from and it's recommended to watch all to get it. With gas prices increasing, and expected to increase (my guess is after the election we'll see higher prices...and QE3 will devalue the dollar so it might be a double whammy)....it might help ease the crunch if you use the stuff...=) Anyone got any experience with using these? We are about to purchase and install one. |

I have also been looking at this info. Just heard about it a couple weeks ago and It has really caught my attention mainly cause it isn't out of reach for the average person to put together. I also noticed there isn't one for a diesel but I would definately like to try one out on a car engine or even something smaller to start with. There are a few varieties of these devices shown and I have to wonder why this info has not gotten much more attention. My guess is the gas companies don't want this info going too far. Let us know if you get one going and I will do the same. |

That and why would you need a catalytic converter if you burn cleaner. It's a priority for us as once we have one, we will jimmy-rig more. They can be used on gas generators, log splitters, tractors, trucks and more. If you saw the YouTube vid where the Aussies put a pop bottle on a lawn mower and I think they said the intake was the exhaust...too easy. What I would like -is to build a test model to see if they work on e-85 and maybe even straight alcohol. That would mean growing your own fuel is worth the effort....another winter project? One video I looked at used a gas generator and ran on a diesel-water mix. Hard to believe but it ran fine. The strange thing to me is not one video shows the entire start to finish project. You have to look at a few to put all the ideas together. Probably to cover their own back. |

I've read about the atomizer system and have wondered if anyone has really tried it and, if so, how well it worked. In theory, it makes perfect sense and should work, but alas, I am not that mechanically inclined so will have to leave that to brains better than mine! Let us know if either of you get one up and going - it would be a wonderful thing to be able to make those petrol dollars stretch a bit more! |

If anyone wants to look at some videos on some of these fuel savers just go to UTUBE and some key words are, Geet Reactor, Fuel Vaporizer, Pantalone. As usual some of the videos are good and some are almost a waste of time. Everyone wants to be a hollywood star. We might want to hurry on this cause just this morning the news said California now has a gas shortage! Sky rocketing prices and some gas stations are closed due to no gas and the shortage is now moving to other states. I'm pretty sure that local gas suppliers will jump on this excuse to jack prices as soon as they can. |

Yeah, the California's shortage issue is just another example of how fragile the fuel delivery system is. But that's not the news story so I can only surmise they keep it off the main media so people don't look for the solutions to our gasoline addiction. So, for those who haven't seen it, here it is again: http://www.oilcrashmovie.com/ And it's also available on Netflix. I think it, along with Albert Bartlett's YouTube video should be part of the high school and college education. |

the last site doesn't make sense to me at all. Sounds like a sales pitch for those who don't understand the workings of car engines. Unless I'm missing something, the factory has all ready routed the pvc valve to the carb base plate to reburn the emission gases. This is nothing new and as for the "oily mess" Your engine is getting pretty wore out if that's happening. It's an old way of engine wear checking when car shopping. I'm always looking for new ideas but that one sounds almost like a scam. As for the epa form on cow magnets, I remember that idea and it is surprisingly similar to the Geet Reactor style vaporizer only a bit more advanced. It heats the gas vapors with exhaust but also uses a magnet and polarity. Something to do with molecules in the gas vapor??? There are a few easy to understand videos on utube that show the workings but have not found any proven facts so far. I think that many are using those ideas as a base and then comming up with their own ideas. Edited by Grizzly, Oct 6 2012, 10:42 PM.
