Impact Wrestling has been on a slippy slope in my opinion, Sting's gimmick portraying The Joker hasn't clicked nearly as one would desire and you have to believe that it's because of the lack of originality to it, here you can discuss everything regarding Impact Wrestling. Kurt Angle has just won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for the unprecedented fifth time and his joining of Immortal seems imminent. Is Kurt Angle going to replace Mr. Anderson, who replaced Jeff Hardy, who substituted for Hulk Hogan, who is unable to wrestle on a regular basis?

I don't mean to get into a rant about Impact Wrestling because I feel like somebody will unfairly stamp me as being a mark but I can't understand what the hell their goals are! They pulled the Bound for Glory series out of their hat as a way to build anticipation for Bound for Glory, but instead of building it up as something important they give us five minute matches and barely even show us the scoreboard. Then, we have Sting, who in their eyes is "reinventing" himself by ripping off The Joker. It was one thing whenever he made a character inspired by The Crow, because it was a character that didn't come across as a blatant rip-off and instead made history. Sting may be trying hard to make the character work however, that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't work. Next, they're building for Hulk Hogan to be squaring off against Sting at Bound for Glory, that much is obvious and I understand that it was inevitable but they should build it better than what they're doing if they're going to do it. I know that there is still time but I'm not liking what I've seen so far and for something that is almost promised to be a mediocre match, the build is vastly important.
Kurt Angle turned heel out of the blue and will more than likely join Immortal, and Mr. Anderson will be going back to being a face. I can't help but wonder what was accomplished with making Mr. Anderson join Immortal in the first place with that being said. Mr. Anderson should be feuding against Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship, that's something I know for sure, one thing that I do hope to see is Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam going at it for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bound for Glory, now THATS a match that I want to see.
