Anera headed towards the lake to rest. She had decided on not wanting to be the leader of her herd and therefore the other herd members decided on a battle for leadership. Anera shook her head and whooshed her tail angrily. It's not that she didn't feel she could lead the Bahari, it was just that she never wanted to. She preferred to be left alone, not be someone that everyone looks to. She stomped the ground with her front hooves as she snorted loudly. Her tail flicked against her rump, removing a mosquito from biting at her. She walked up to the water's edge as her ears went forward and she lowered her head to take a drink. |

Anera looked back at him. She didn't really care where anyone was from. To her everyone was a rival until they proved otherwise. She was still wary of him, feeling as though he may just be trying to trick her. Her ears flicked forwards some as her angry demenor started to subside alittle. "Nice to meet you too." She turned her head blushing alittle. "S-Sorry I was so rude... I just don't trust anyone." she said softly. 'Why am I telling him this? Great! Now he's going to think I'm a softie." she said narrowing her eyebrows and pouting alittle. |

He looked at her softly. "Its alright, its not like a gave you reason to trust me." He said as he lowered his head and started drinking. The water felt so good, he closed his eyes as the water soothed his scratchy throat. 'Shes not so bad.. a little jumpy but who isn't, really.' He thought to him self as he continued drinking. |

She watched him as he drank. 'He is rather skinny but seems fit enough. But that cough... Gah! Why do I even care. He's from another herd, not like I will see him that often. Besides, my heard doesn't seem to really like the Aboriji right now... I doubt they would be happy to know I am conversing with one.' she thought as she turned to look into the water. A small frog swam up and poked its head out of the water for a moment. Anera leaned alittle closer and sniffed it. |

He opened his eyes and looked at her for a moment. He looked out over the water. It was kinda warm today and a swim would feel great, but he was worried he would overexert him self. He had a shiver run thought his body as he shock from head to tail. |

The frog freaked at Anera's nose and spat out water at her as it took off under the water. Anera squealed and pulled her head back. "Stupid little frog! I wasn't going to hurt you!" she yelled as she shook her head to rid herself of the water. She backed up and started to walk over to the shade of some trees to the side of the lake. When she reached the cool feel of the ground from where the shade was covering, she slid and flopped over rolling around in the grass. |

Acksis turned his head to watch where the she was going. He looked back over the water. "well i guess shade is just as good." He said quietly as he turned and headed in the direction of the mare. He stopped a few feet from her. "Mind if i join you?" He asked her softly. |

Anera rolled to her side and looked up at him. She stared at him for a moment thinking. "Do what you want. I don't care." she said turning her head away as she scooched over for him to join. |

"Thank you." He said happily as he smiled at her. He walked close to her and picked a spot to lay down. He slowly started to lay, he didn't want to cause much dust. If he did he might end up coughing again. when he was finally down he sighed heavily as he leaned to his side a bit. "This feels great." He said softly as he closed his eyes and just lay there listing to the sounds around him. |

Anera looked him over and blushed. She slowly shifted so her body was lightly rested against his, as she lowered her head down and closed her eyes. Was it how easy going he was? Or was it something else? What was making her not as solitary around him. Who knows. She breathed heavily as her body stretched alittle. |

Acksis felt her body against his and smiled a little. 'Not as cold as you let up to be are you Anera.' He thought to him self. He enjoyed relaxing in the shade it felt nice on the warm days. The was some wind that felt nice an cool as it blew some of the leaves off the trees. |
