Where..... Am I......?

Green eyes scanned a field full of dying flowers. The lingering scent of lavender hung thickly in the air, lovely yet suffocating. The field was vacant, a chilled wind of oncoming winter sweeping through. A lone horse stood at the boarder of the field.

A large brindle body ambled it's way out into the field in a drunken fashion, a sway in the creature's step. The dominantly white body, marred with scratches of gold, stuck out like a sore thumb in contrast with the rotting vegetation. The only thing more noticeable was the bloom of red that flowered from the right side of his black and white face.

The stallion felt the dull throb in his head suddenly sharpen, forcing him to stop as the world began to swirl. He stumbled, forcing him down on one knee. With an aching sigh, he gave in to gravity and allowed himself to fall into a tri-color heap on the cool, yet soft ground.

What happened to me? Who am I....?

((hope you don't mind if I randomly join in? If not just ignore my post! XD))

Keene galloped across the lavender fields, enjoying a bit of alone time and the rush of cold wind through his mane. The scent of wilted flowers filled his nose. It was relaxing and enjoyable for the stallion.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted several horses in the distance. Slowly bringing himself to a halt he turned his head to get a closer look. He surprisingly recognized all of them. Two members of his herd and Arianna, the leader of Aboriji herd.
Keene stood quietly for a moment, observing the bunch before moving towards them.

Once close enough he called out to them, "Well hello!" he chirped out in a happy voice.

"What are we all doing here?" he questioned and practically hopped over to them and immediately noticed all the blood dripping off of Tanix.
A unhorselike snarl slipped out of Keene's throat, "Who did this to you?" he said and flickered his eyes towards Arianna for a moment.

(Well, hello there~)

"If you're his friend that's good. We all need some friends." Nitis said, and took a step towards Tanix slowly, "Are you really hurt that bad?" There certanly was a lot of blood, and he accidentaly stepped in a bit. When Nitis heard the new voice, he looked around. It sounded familiar but...

He about jumped out of his skin when he saw Keene. The stallion always made him nervous, but he seemed happy so it was okay... For now. When Keene spoke, Nitis's ears flicked back and he took a couple steps back.

"We don't know, Keene," He said, looking at Tanix, "Tanix doesn't remember, and we were about to get help. We just found him like this. Do you think he'll bleed to death?" The chestnut pinned his ears in worry.
"Don't ever loose your faith in your bonds with others. Those are all that hold us together. And don't loose me! I won't be able to find my way back home-horrible sense of direction!"

(Omai~ I got a bit to catch up on. HAI DAR WAFFLES!!! CB)

Bahari? Hurt? Help... Death....

So much swirled around in the dazed stallion's head. All these thoughts... Foreign words that seemed to play at the edge of his mind... He felt his eyelids dip down in fatigue. A nap sounded good right now. So good. Before Tanix knew it, his eyes fell close as the beginnings of sleep claimed him.

Sleep. Blissful sleep...

Imagine the poor stallion's shock when a new voice bellowed out, scaring the napping creature out of his tri-colored skin. Green eyes flew up, catching a pair of baby blues that put the sky to shame. They would have been relaxing, if not for the vicious gleam that seemed to own them. A shudder racked Tanix's white back, muscles tensing with the need to run.

This need was momentarily deterred when the other stallion of the group spoke up... Nitis, was it? From the way the stallion talked and acted, this stallion apparently named Keene wasn't an immediate worry...

Tanix came back to reality when he realized that they were talking about him. "I'm.... Not sure what happened. I don't know anything... Or any of you. But, I-I'm okay. See?" The stallion forced himself reluctantly to his feet. "I'm just really tired, and my head hurts."

Tanix gave a soft, sheepish smile, hoping that his reply would calm the fussing group a bit. Honestly, all he wanted right now was sleep.

(I apologize, crappy post is crappy. xD;)

(Keene freaks Nitis out... And I love Keene.... His face is delicious.... Which is my word for "really really cool"... I love bald-faced horses XD)

"MEEP! Tanix-Tanix! Hey-Tani. Tani. TANI! No sleeping, 'kay?" Nitis demanded, pinning his ears. He had seen other horses bleed to death, just by falling asleep or going in any unconcious form and he hadn't been able to help. That would not happen to Tanix, no sir-ee. Even if he had to throw Keene in front of whatever would try to take his herd mate (and he would. Keene made him the most nervous, which meant that he was the strongest, right?) he would.

"Keene, what do we do? Like, cobwebs, or stitches?" He asked, not realizing the other horses probably wouldn't know what stitches were. He did, because he had been around humans for most of his young life and had had them before. "Oh god, don't let Tanix die..." He moaned, tempted to kick Tanix to make sure he stayed awake. Nitis looked thouroughley worried, ears drooping and lower lip stuck out.

Tanix was not going to die. Nope, he would make a full recovery. And they'd be eating apples at the tree again soon... He kept telling himself that to drive off all the evil thoughts threatening.

(oh my goodness... Ari, Keene, please, respond~ Please tel me you've played Halo 3 xD "Someone, anyone, please, respond.")
