With a new site comes my new movie thread Harry potter - really enjoyed this. Was a fitting end to the series and while the books will always be better there were some moments that really stood out. My only criticism is for what would have been an extra 5-10th minutes in the battle scenes they could have brought pure emotion through through with seeing the like of Fred, lupin and others die instead of just seeing their bodies afterward Horrible bosses - brilliant. Actually annoyed at how simple the premise of the story is considering how much I hate my job. Anyhow no matter how much I dislike my job this had me smiling at the end of the day. Very very funny Transformers - I want my two and a half hours back. Some funny moment from shia and great scenes for malkovich and jeong but otherwise a truly garbage end to a truly garbage series of movies |

Completely agree with Harry Potter. It is a fantastic movie in its own right, and is a must see, purely because of the cinematic history behind it. However, they needed to have a really epic, Lord of the Rings-esque battle for Hogwarts. That could have been something to give you goosebumps. We have all got an affinity for the characters, and I think it could have been as close to perfect a film as I've ever seen if they'd just used that connection to show some of the deaths and cause genuine emotion amongst the audience. Solid 8/10, but with the extra 5-10 minutes of battle, it could easily have been a perfect 10. |

Just watched Reservoir Dogs on DVD: loved it! I think Tarantino is a superb director, and the film is just great. Love how it never shows the heist as well, not to mention the brilliant cast. On a par with Pulp Fiction in my book! |

I ain't a massive Tarantino fan but pulp fiction is awesome. Think the only other film he's done that even comes close to it is inglorious basterds On a separate note have just been to watch Super 8. Was an alright movie, thought it could of been better but think I may have just been expecting too much from mr abrams |

Yeah mate it's definitely worth watching, think I'm being unfair by expecting too much of it, I just felt the ending was a bit rushed and didn't really explain anything Limitless is good. I went the cinema to see it and then bought the bluray |
