The Mexicans are so far ahead of us with this now - they have UFOs, they've captured rodent-like aliens, they have discovered alien bases under ground. It's amazing that no European or US tv channels have been following this. I blame Obama.

Not relating to anything in particular, but has anyone else noticed what feels like a 5,000% increase of mainstream coverage of UFO's and aliens in general.

Not only that, but the fact that they are almost coming to terms with the idea its genuine and not taking the piss anymore? I've standing out like a sore thumb to me, its like a preparation for news or something. Really odd.

History Channel also had that 90 minute "Ancient Aliens" idea that put over Zecharia Sitchen/Erich Von Daniken's theory as almost more credible than the mainstream accepted history of human evolution.

It's certainly interesting.

Did I say that I was actually watching, eh Bal?

Did I? EH????

I had it on while I was waiting for Bragging Rights to start, simply to see where they actually were and what it looked like now.

I remember seeing a live thing years ago on Pendle Hill that was quite well done, with camera guys falling down stairs and all sorts of good stuff.

Let's face it, even if Ospama does announce the U.S. governments official recognition of alien activity, most of the scinics (sp?) will never believe him.

The worst thing is, when we eventually do prove that alien life form exists, it'll probably be some sort of funky plant or something, and not a human looking creature from a movie, so everyone will be disappointed.

Ah, but where would nature take this funky plant? Eventually it could become a triffid.

There have been independant reports of alien visitation for atleast 110 years now, especially in the last 60, and throughout that time the descriptions have become more sophisticated, which makes sense.

I don't see why people have trouble coming to terms with the idea that...'we're not alone'.

When I was younger I loved a good UFO story. I haven't really been following it recently, like.

I think there may well be life out there. The planetary conditions to support life may only be found on a small percentage of planets, but considering just how many planets there are in the universe there's probably a fair few appropriate ones. It's no massive leap of logic to think there's some sort of life form on there.
