I've bumped this old, dead thread to tell you that I've just watched The Obama Deception today. Did anyone else actually watch it? I generally have to research things for myself, I can't just watch a documentary then spout off about what I 'know' about something, so I may scoot around later and test some of the facts of this. While I'm not certain of the validity of 100% of this documentary, I don't think many people down that big business has an influence in the American political scene. If they want to set up their own government, well that's another thing. I just fancied a good old conspiracy theory for some reason, after spending an hour reading up on how the Music industry is actually controlled by the Illuminati. Which it is, a guy with a blog told me. So I'm going to watch this "Endgame" thing, which is apparently about the planned steps for human enslavement. So I'll be one step ahead of the killing squads, whilst you're all getting chopped up in your beds. |

Thing is Scotty, I'm a highly educated Winchester/Oxford alumnus so when the revolution comes I'll be one of those directing the secret police into your house. |

The music thing wasn't "Vigilant Citizen", was it? It's a website that breaks down music videos and musicians and alleges to show symbolism. Lady Gaga is a hefty victim of that site but to be fair, she's weird and has allegedly studied ancient history and politics when younger so she should be well aware of it all. Endgame is another Alex Jones documentary, it focuses more on the alleged plan to reduce the human population drastically. |

I could never get through Endgame to be honest and I would recommend Terrorstorm over it. |

I agree, but Endgame has its own subject so they aren't totally interchangeable. Terrorstorm is a more interesting watch, howeva. |

Aye it was Vigilant Citizen, it was mental shit. I didn't think there was much behind it like, I just enjoyed the crack. Aye I fucked off Endgame 45 minutes in, it's shit. They did fill a nice need for some good ol' conspiracy though. |

I started watching an interview with Jesse Ventura and Alex Jones on YouTube the other day but couldn't find part 4 hastily enough and moved onto something else. Quite interesting though from what I saw. Has anyone read any of Ventura's books? |

Vigilant Citizen and other sites like it take things from the video and blur the meaning most of the time, the Rihanna "Umbrella" one is a clear sign of this. Oddballs like Lady Gaga, however, I am certain place this stuff in because its "edgy" and looks cool. Not to mention you have spastics like Kanye West openly moving to this stuff for his new "image". It's free online advertising for those who embrace it. |

Never read his books, but I've always thought Jesse Ventura seemed particularly sound. He's a smart guy, and a deliberately straight shooter. He's probably a good thing for politics in America, although I think he's already out of office. I'd vote for him anyway, even if just for his incredible speaking voice. |

As long as you treat it all as a bit of fun, like X Files, then this can be entertaining. Once you start actually believing this shit though, you end up turning into a raving lunatic like Keelan. I'm not a huge fan of all this myself. The thing is, it's all fiction but personally there's much better fiction out there. I'd rather watch JFK or Syriana or Edge of Darkness which are the same oeuvre but a much higher quality of writing and with less gaping plot holes. |

You're not half wrong, Loki. It's amazing how little of this stuff actually holds up to some proper research. For example, the claim that the Rothchilds bought up most of London after falsely spreading information that Napoleon had won the war and Britain had lost to cause stock to plummet is debunked, with sources, on Wikipedia for fuck's sake. |

Thats only because the powers that be have obviously got control over the media that provides the sources. |

Shit a brick, Harry, you're probably right. I'd rise up and rebel, but I'm fairly shattered so I may do it tomorrow. |
