She hasn't actually said she was offended. Apparently this whole ordeal was an editing mistake, makes you wonder, what else does he say...

Does it matter?

Normal people, who are not of idiotic mind, have a strong enough constitution to not really be that arsed by what a professional wind-up merchant like Frankie Boyle has to say. Anyone who does take too much notice, and gets wound up by it, needs to have a word with themselves.

I think you do have a point in what you say there. But ironically, i'm guessing you say that, but despise Bernard Manning.

The funny thing is, Boyle is getting the reaction he's looking for.

Jim Davidson's horrid. I do think the 1970's were the best era for comedy, so many brilliant comedians, especially stand ups, from that time.

I was thinking more Frank Carson, Cannon & Ball, Stan Boardman (not quite as good maybe, but whatever), Ken Dodd (altho' he stared out properly in the 60's). Many of them are still going today. I'm not familiar with these Reid or Flowers chaps.

Mike Reid. He was Frank Butcher. And Charlie Williams (God knows why I said Flowers. I think "Ooooh, Me Flowers" was his catchphrase) was a black "Uncle Tom" type.

I hadn't seen that Frankie Boyle clip and had no idea who that moon faced swimmer was before this but it got a laugh out of me.
