I agree, rolling machines are so fucking dumb. Whenever somebody is trying to quit I usually say "smoke rollies", but the excuse of not being able to roll is stupid. It's not hard. |

I gave up smoking easy, I was a 20 a day man and did exactly what Loki suggested earlier. I was still a heavy smoker but then one day never smoked again, just like that *clicks fingers* The fact that I contracted Tuberculosis and my last ciggie felt like I was swallowing broken glass had nothing to do with it, honest. I know it's like using a hammer to crack open an egg but it'll work. |

Quiting is very easy, you just really have to want to do it. I think I'd have no problems if I was in the mind set to again quit (I did quit in 2003 for 9 months) Problem is I do enjoy a smoke and with a drink even better. Probably on average about 12 a day, passing the time in work but moreso on weekends. |

day 2 and i havent had a fag yet. the gum seems to be working.it bloody taste horrid like. im managing to remain calm whilst taking calls, so this is good as it means im not getting so stressed. my breaks are spent inside the canteen,generall doing nothing,but im not bored yet though. real test is tommorow when i have the kids and take em to the metrocentre to see santa.if i can cope with that,i know ive beaten the fags. |
