Im reaching the point where I kinda want to quit. Im buying 25g packs every 2-3 days and constantly chain smoking. Yesterday afternoon I didnt have much money at all and got a 12.5g pack which is already finished. How have you lads got on with the non smoking thing? I assume your all still smoking

I restrict myself to the odd spliff and avoid the fags altogether. I'm in limbo at the moment as I'm still waiting for my eighth of Undertoker that Joey Holmes promised to send me about 4 years ago. The post really IS slow nowadays. |

I've been smoking more since New Year after the landlord of my local started selling 50g of Golden V for 6 quid. At that price, how can you afford not to smoke heavily? |

6quid that's cheap as anything. Last year I could have got the 50g pouch for a fiver now it's up to £7.50. Still saves a shed load over buying packs of fegs every day. |

On the subject of smoking being cool anyone remember that anti-smoking ad when some dude wouldn't get with some young lass because she smoked? As if  Is there actually any evidence that anti-smoking ads have an effect in the real world? |

Her indoors has been insisting lately that I give up smoking. Indeed, I believe it reached a moment a month or so ago where she gave me the ultimatum of all ultimatums: it's me or the cigarettes. I don't think she quite appreciates that she is part of the reason I smoke. It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep my dirty secret from her. It's a good thing I have will power. |

I smoked a fair amount when I was at college (10 a day or so) mostly to pass the time, since I've finished college I barely smoke.. infact only when I'm out on the odd occasion.
