In direct contradiction to the Nationwide, who a few days ago reported a drop for the 2nd month in a row. It's like you've quoted from 6 months ago or something!

Good luck Will. Prices are dropping, but not that fast so you should be ok. I've finally bought a house! Near the top of the double-dip, but what the hell. Here in Guildford prices are always high, so I'm fairly insured against that. |

I'll probably be buying a house this year. Not sure whether to flog my one in Cov and use the approx 60-70 grand profit on a mahoosive deposit or keep renting it out and let it pay for its self in the long run. Mrs Baz will hopefully be doing a PHD soon so might borrow off the house to help pay for it as she'll be cutting back her hours at work. |

More expensive than most areas of London, so yes. |

Is it vulgar to ask how much you got it for Loki? |

A 3 bedroom house cost me 325k. It's a nice house, in a nice location, but it's still only 950 sqft. Houses of this size regularly come on to the market for 350-400k. |

I rent my house, and what's more I have to give my rent in weekly installments to my more trustworthy housemate to prevent me blowing it on pointless shit. This thread makes me feel like I should grow up

It's confirmed, I'm going back to Manchester. Three bedroom penthouse duplex in Castlefield - complete with pool table, baby! £1150 a month and then after that we're going to buy summat. Moving at the start of June and leaving behind the land of no Holland's Pies and people who don't talk properly. In all seriousness though, we saw places of this size going for nothing less than £1800 per month down here. Fucking ridiculous. |

Can we talk about Loki behind his back as well? We'll be in Slate Wharf, just off Chester Road. Aside from the fact that the estate agents (Suttons City Living) appear to be a bunch of drooling arsewits, I think it's going to be pretty nice. |
