I can sympathise. Manchester had several earthquakes a few years ago. One of them made one of my wet socks fall off the clothes horse. I never quite recovered. |

My sister was in the Arndale at the time. She was studying in Man Uni. She said there was a big football in the JD Sports in there full of tellys, and they all fell out of it causing much distress. EDIT - Sorry, that was the paddies and their bombs and their guns. They've sent George Michael, Elton John and Alan Carr as the rescue team. I really don't think it's appropriate to make jokes after such a tragedy. I know it's hard to feel sympathy because they're foreigners, but we have to remember they lost pretty much everything within an instant and they've been left with almost nothing. Still, there's always next season for Arsenal. |
