The King has awarded each lord Honor and Gold Marks for the start of the game. If you wish to build buildings be sure to spend the appropriate amount of Honor for the Knight Wardens you may need. Remember you also have access to your base Honor generation of your rank, and your base fief incomes, which is 350 per fief. EXAMPLE: Duke Vladimir Arinan was awarded 55 Honor, and 3,500 GM. As a Duke he gains 20 Honor for his title, and owns four fiefs giving him a base income of 1,400. Which is a total of 75 Honor, and 4,900 GM for the first year. |

Also, make sure that when you do finally do your finances that you know the current Royal Task for the beginning of the game will be placed at 20% of your total Revenue

Also as note, you are free to use the Honor and Money granted to you by the king prior to game start for your starting forces. Do not use your turn/year one income for this and just the King's Grant. You are always welcome to save it and the funds will not disappear if you decide not to spend them. Please not these expenditures in your finances. Also when creating your starting army, be sure to note you need to have stock pens for mounted men at arms and stables for esquires. IF you use your pregame money to buy stock pens and stables, you can have mounted forces at the start of the game. |

Also please do not tax your King's Grant. That is money for the use of the pre-game. |
