So, I'm wondering what products to make with when I start selling my products. Only a few to start, as I want to create these few the best I can, and then work on more as the need grows. So, here's the ideas: 1) Soaps Oatmeal, Milk & Honey - made with ground oatmeal, honey, coconut or some other type of milk (plus other ingredients to make basic soap). Oatmeal & Lavender - made with ground oatmeal, ground lavender, with a swirl of lavender color (plus other ingredients to make basic soap). undecided - I have not decided on the third soap - any ideas, suggestions? 2) Creams - very luscious creams that melt into the skin, as well as being good for the skin: Coconut Crazy - made with coconut oil, coconut milk and a coconut-based scent (plus other ingredients to make basic cream) Rose Blush - made with ground rose petals, rose clay, a subtle rose scent (plus other ingredients to make basic cream) undecided - not decided on third cream - any ideas, suggestions? 3) Now here's where it gets even more interesting... I'm not real sure about the third product I want to offer when just starting out. I am thinking: lip balm tubes bath melts - made with oils that when dropped in the bath water, fizz and release the skin loving oils. sugar scrub Your suggestions and comments are so welcome in these products. |

Well, I was thinking more about the start up products today. I think I'll have 4 soaps to chose from: Coconut Lime - any of you remember the "you put the lime in the coconut and shake it up" diddy? Anyway, back to the soap. The scent description says it's not too 'limey', described as tropical, fresh and clean. I think I'll make a light green swirl throughout a white soap, and include coconut oil and coconut milk in the soap recipe. Cranberry Crush - made with crushed cranberries, rose clay for color and a very nice scent called Cranberry Fig. It doesn't sound great, but it smells wonderful[/b] Black Raspberry Vanilla - the scent is described as enticing blend of blackberries and raspberries, with middle notes of white floral greenery, and bottom notes of musk and vanilla. I have heard from other soapers that this scent is one of their biggest sellers. I am going to try it with a mid-dark lavender swirl throughout white soap. Oatmeal, Milk & Honey - a big favorite, made with ground oatmeal, milk & honey, with a scent that is divine! The next product will be creams, packaged in malibu bottle (bottle sets on its top). I'll deliberate more after a study of scents. |
