Well, the following is a cannon for the world I've worked really hard on in SP. What I need is help... I need help building the rest of the world and for some help hosting a server or something. But, like I said, mostly, need help building the rest. Again, I've been working really hard on this, any comments are appreciated. I've been working full time on rules, and an economy, rates, etc., as well as location specific perks and limitations. Well, here it is; (BF: Blockaforming) 0BF: The Block, Block God, or simply God, placed his hand upon a pure white canvas, and slid his hand into whichever way he chose. As he did, soil, water and the trees would prosper behind his palm. When God would rest, he would turn his canvas over, giving night. The moon is the last piece of God's power that he would give unto his universe before rest. When God awoke, he would turn the canvas over to him, and the sun is his power giving energy to his universe and sustaining its life while he is awake. 5BF: God gazed upon his creation of life for 5 years, a short time compared to his existence, watching it prosper and spread to places which he apparently missed, filling every crevices of his universe with life. Proud, yet bored, he created sentience, a little Minnian stood in his palm. The Minnian spoke to God. God, enjoying his conversation, and having his intellect challenged, he asked himself, "What if I was not the only one?" At once, he filled his palms with dozens and then hundreds of Minnians! He placed them all around his universe, wondering how they would go about living, talking, conversing, thinking, creating, prospering together and finding each other. The first Minnians, he placed on the Plateau of the Ancients. 6BF: For one whole year, the Minnians did nearly nothing but want to speak to God. Annoyed, God finally erased their minds, made himself invisible to them, and never showed his face thereafter, but he continued to look on with his original curiosity. 10BF: A handful of Minnians gathered on a cliff, the Ridge at the End of the World, and at one point, an argument broke out, questioning the purpose of the Ridge's staggering awe. The first Minnian died that day, struck in the head with a rock, deliberately. God didn't understand, why did a Minnian kill another? He suddenly remembered, when he erased their minds of his existence, he erased too much. All the Minnians lost their sense of the universe, some became greedy, heretics to gods cause of prosperity and life, and worst of all, and some became dangerously ignorant. God mistakenly made the Minnians forget that they are all one and the same, and shouldn't harbor hate or anything negative towards each other, and should prosper as a whole. God left his universe, but left it untouched and checked back on it every few years to see the destructive progress of the Minnians. He did not dispose of his universe, however, so he can look on and remember his mistake, so he would not make it again. 12BF: The Minnians lived near the Ridge at the End of the World semi-peacefully for 2 years. At one point, a small group of settlers, like any sentient being who is ignorant (like us), have begun an idea of a god, to help explain the unexplainable. They traversed down the Ridge, and past it until they reached the Staple of the Northern World. They settled underground in the Staple, hoping they would be protected, believing that a god would grab the ridge behind them and tear it off of the world, taking the non-believers with it, they called themselves the Nornam Settlers (as known by the outside world) or the Nornam Idols (as known within their own culture). To this day, they still believe that underground is the safest place to be, because a god will tear off the non-believers off the world. They are hostile to nearly all, only accepting those who go through a horrific trial into their civilization. Their underground city is vast, but the two holes of the Staple are the only entrances and exits. 20BF: The remaining settlers of the Ridge head South and finally hit a large mass of water, amazed, they set up their village right there. They called it Orion Village. Overtime most of the settlement has deteriorated, leaving small ruins of the old world. 70BF: The Minnians, though ignorant and sinful, were not stupid. They were creative and had a technological prowess, though still ancient by our standards. So their lives were still long lived. During this year, the last of the first generation Minnians was going to die, as homage, the villagers find a strange floating hunk of rock in the middle of the sky and build a home for the elder within the rock for him to pass his final days. His home is the Orion Sage's Floating Hut. 100BF: With the recent passing of the Orion Sage, the Minnians finally begin to move away from Orion Village, heading in all directions. No children of these nomads have yet to return to Orion, except for those from the South. 120BF: The Nornam Settlers launch an attack on Orion Village, killing everyone who still lived there for their "ignorance to the Nornam belief." Not many died that day, for most of the villagers moved on. 150BF: A small settlement was made on the North Island of the 3 Isles. 170BF: The 3 Isles boomed with settlers, Minnians were practically falling off the islands! 178BF: At one point (refer to the bottom of the page at the Landmark history) a Love Triangle arose amongst 2 men and a woman; each lived on a different Island. Due to the feud amongst the three, a fire was started at each of the 3 islands, simultaneously, causing the Great Pillars of the Cursed. Those unaware of the love triangle and who survived thought that they were punished for some reason, and decided to move away. 250BF: The 3 Isle settlers moved south-west, to the Arm of Rurik. At this point, it was a booming civilization. The original name of the peninsula is unknown. For some reason, the Minnians remember the attack of the Nornam Settlers on Orion Village 130 years prior and decide to start a military force. 276BF: An unknown far western civilization of Minians attacked full force trying to simply mow down anyone who got in their path. A young soldier was caught from the opposing army, and was forced to tell them about their army. He simply said, "Our King, wants to know... how far his power can stretch." He was let go, but wandered east, apparently trying to complete his King's orders. 277BF: The Battle of the Shield occurred; this is where the peninsula got its name. Refer down below for details. Shortly after the battle, the settlers were ravaged, and decided to move away from the humid beach settlement they held for so many years. They headed east and founded Temperance Village. 300BF: God finally returned to check up on his mistake. He was slightly happy to see peaceful people, living, and prospering. Those people were the stems of the first generation of Minnians placed on the Plateau of the Ancients and who did not turn into the Nornams. He looked at the Nornam civilization, angry at them for being so negative at life and being so hostile all the time, he flooded their underground city with lava as punishment for ruining his original cause, killing most and clogging up a lot of the city. The surviving Nornams lived near Orion Village and close to the entrance to the city. They all came back to start to rebuild their city with a new hate. They began to believe that there was another god, jealous of the one they originally believed in, so he killed the believers of their one true god in order for their god to lose his power to cleanse the world of the ignorant. 307BF: The Temperance settlement finally turned into a city, Temperance City. Some settlers, couldn't take the hustle and bustle of the booming city, so without any hard feelings, they decided to move back to Orion Village to rebuild and to begin anew. To honor their ancestors, the current Orion villagers made a chapel/lodge to overlook the entirety of Orion Village. 310BF: Current Date. From here on, we’ll need MP to develop the rest of the story. Here's the cartographer map so far... If you can't see the full images, just right click and view image. ![]() ![]() From Left to Right (From the Isometric map): The Smoke Stack: After the Battle of the Shield, there was a significant amount of the dead, so they used the island like a giant oven to cremate the dead and the fallen. It was later turned into a prison. (Under construction) Temperance City: A large, metropolis of the modern world. Will be explained in detail in another post. The Nook of the Nobles: A small nook with a large hotel, many, many stories high, only for nobility and for the rich, right on the beach, secluded from everyone else. (Obviously under construction) The Arm of Rurik: A peninsula of beach stretching out like an arm blocking a hit. Rurik was the general that led only a few hundred troops to defend against the unknown enemy, they all perished, but were able to defend against the enemy, sending a message back to the evil king that his power stops right before the Arm of Rurik. (Under construction) Three Isles: A settlement made after Orion Village, and before the Arm of Rurik with a love feud that caused the peoples migration. There were 2 brothers, and a maiden, each living on a separate island. The maiden, fell in love with one of the brother's wives. The husband of the wife, thought the maiden was simply trying to get to him instead. The other brother was in love with the maiden, and when he would seek her, his brother would think he was going after his wife. Then, the maiden set fire to the home of the brother with the wife, so she can be with her. The other brother set fire to the home of the maiden thinking it was his brother's home because his wife is at the maiden's place all the time. And finally, the brother with the wife set fire to his brothers house to keep him away from his wife. (Ok, I know it sounds all sorts of fucked up, I tried to think of something) (Under construction) Orion Village: First official settlement of the first generation Minnians. Currently a small re-settling of people. (Under construction) Orion Sage's Floating Hut: It is a floating rock, which is a very weird phenomenon. The villagers thought it was something special, so they built a home in the rock for the last first generation Minnian to spend his days in. The Plateau of the Ancients: Where God placed the first Minnians on his world. The Ridge at the End of the World: It is a massive cliff, the Minnians thought that they couldn't go farther than that, so they thought it was the end of the world. As well, that's where the first Minnian died, so it is known as a common burial ground these days. But it's only for those who can make the trip and could survive an attack from the Nornams. People have also started mining within the Ridge, but they started at the sides of the Ridge, in order not to disturb its history. The Nornam Settlers: A group of people who are opposite to the belief of God's original plan. Very hostile. (Under construction) The North, East, and West Staples: Some Minnians believed that God made their universe by stapling together "God's Canvases." They're normally used as landmarks. The Southern Staple has not been located yet. |

I've updated it heavily. It's PRACTICALLY done. I need help making the economy though. As well as some rules. I wanted to turn my world into a whole RPG realm. But then again, I can make copies of the world, so.. If you give me credit, it's all yours to do as you please. Here, this is the most updated pic I have as of now.Obviously, you can't see the underground city. Oh shit, and I keep forgetting to build the fuckin Hotel in the Nook of the nobles. Just fyi, this world is meant to house many many players. Maybe not all at once, but... At least alternatingly. Temperance City can house about 30 players and like 10 shops or so. Nornam Settlers City can house at least 40 or so.

I checked it out. Very nice. Not something I want to use as the kingdom I'm wanting to make, but besides that it's freaking intense. |
