Goliath gloves are a set of degradable gloves that require 80 attack to wear and were released with the Dominion Tower on November 1 2011. These gloves are amongst the most powerful gloves in the game for melee, surpassing the Culinaromancer's gloves 10 obtained from Recipe for Disaster by two attack points in every attack style except ranged and magic, for a total of 14, as well as one more strength point for a total of 13. On top of this, they also beat the Dragon Gauntlets obtained from Fist of Guthix in defensive boost on all stats except Summoning and Ranged Defence. These gloves are especially unique in that they provide several combat bonuses when players are NOT wielding a weapon; however, the gloves do permit the use of an offhand item, such as a Dragon Defender or Dragonfire Shield and still retain the bonuses. While 'unarmed' the gloves provide a substantial boost to a player's damage equivalent to that of an Abyssal whip (+82 stacked on top of the current strength bonus of the gloves). I feel that not enough of us have these, seeing how useful they are, considering they cost nothing, are easy to get back, and provide decent stats (comparable to a whip) when unequipped. First, HOW TO GET THERE: For your first time, you are going to want to teleport to Al-Kharid either using your Broomstick to sorcress's garden, or an amulet of glory, then run south to Shanty Pass, and follow the path from there; ![]() OR, once you have once visited Dominion Tower, you can use a Dominion Medallion to teleport to the lobby of the towerREQUIREMENTS to obtain Goliath Gloves: 110+ Combat [Required to enter the tower] Defeat a total of 500 Boss Monsters (they do not have to be consecutive) In addition, the following monsters must have been killed at least once in the tower: Nomad, from Nomad's Requiem Ayuni, Leeuni, and Eruni from Do No Evil Two Dagannoth Sentinels from Blood Runs Deep The Untouchable from Dream Mentor Balance elemental from While Guthix Sleeps Ice Demon from Temple at Senntisten KILLING the bosses to get your gloves: Ideally, you are going to kill your 500 bosses in Endurance mode. Do not worry about food, most bosses will be killed in a matter of dds specs. Below, I have listed the types of bosses that should be, and should not be killed whilst going through endurance mode, to provide for most efficient boss kills/ per hour. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have also added a picture of the gear I commonly use. Feel free to downgrade your gear, however I have found this to be the best gear and inventory set up; ![]() BEFORE the first fight: Make sure you have turned off all taunts, this will save A LOT of time. To do so, once your boss has been selected, click on ‘Select taunts’, and press ‘skip intros’, and ‘victory scenes’. ![]() NOTES to keep in mind while getting your 500 boss kills: Prayer, lifepoints, and special attack are restored after every match, feel free to use your best stat enhancing prayers and special attack every boss. Once you have either died to a boss, or selected not to kill one, you must claim your dominion factor from the chest across from the bank; ![]() You can choose to convert any dominion tower items (Scorpion meat, Dominion potions, swords, etc) to an experience book for a decent amount of experience, and you can choose to bank it. Sorry if I forgot anything, I’ll edit in anything if I remember anything else necessary/helpful. If you need any help with this, feel free to ask me. |

I actually needed this, thanks Toad! How many hours would it actually take to get the gloves? Edited by Dev, Mar 27 2012, 03:34 PM.

I never did more than 2-3 hours at a time, but I think you could get upwards of 60 boss kills an hour, so around 8.5 hours i'd say |
