A week and two day's ago I (with the help of a classmate of mine) sucessfulyl put together my first gameing computer. I call her Cleo.

It may sound strange that I gave her a name (and say her instead of it) but there is a story behind this. It is best that I show you a picture of the tower; so that you may better understand. When I got the first tower it came with the side panel busted up. I was terribly dissapointed; beliveing a repeat of januaray's nightmare was going to repeat itself. Seeing how large the tower was; how awkward it looked in the liveing room; the decision was made to give it the title of Cyclops. But when the replacement tower arrived; and after labouring for hours to put all of the components together; and haveing seen how lovely the case glowed; I decided Cyclops was an unworthy name. To show my affection for the tower I decided to rename my rig Cleo- subsituteing the i with an e by accident. The name stuck.

Cleo may just be the most superb $900 gameing rig you have ever heard of. She plays Half Life 2: Episode 2 flawlessly at maximun settings with framerates so good it feels more like an interactive movie than a game. Crysis naturaly is not so good... but for a sub $1000 rig she does remarkably well with everything else you can throw at her. For those of you who are just dying to hear about the specs here they are:

Case: XCLIO A380BK
CPU: E8400 Intell Duel Core
RAM: 2GB DDR3 @ 1333 Mhz
Video Card: Saphire Radeon HD 4850
PSU OCZ GameXStream 700W
500 GB HDD
Asus MB supporting up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory

Sorry about not finishing this. I meant too, but havent got around to it. I think however it is pretty well explained in this post.
