Awakening: ( PLEASE BOLD YOUR SELECTIONS ) "In front of you there floats a sword, a shield, and a staff....each represents a power....which do you choose?" 1. The power of the warrior. (++Attack) "What's most important to you?" 1. Being number 1. (+Speed) "What do you want out of life?" 2. To broaden my horizons. (+Speed) "What are you afraid of?" 1. Getting old. (+Magic) Name: Xaldin Alias: The Whirlwind Lancer, Dilan Age: Roughly 29, maybe 30 Element: Wind Race: Nobody Home World: Job: Number III in Organization XIII Weapon: A Lindworm model Lance's main shaft is periwinkle in the center, with each of the ends being purple; the periwinkle and purple sections are separated by a small gold band. One end of the Lance is shaped like the top half of the Nobody symbol and is colored purple. The other end seems to be a combination of the lower half of the Nobody symbol and a Dragoon Nobody's "head", and is also purple. Lindworm (Ryugasen) Magic: Curaga Heals up to 3 targets greatly in a flash of light. Virtualra Allows the caster to create up to 3 telekenetically controlled virtual weapons that will stay on the battlefield for 3 posts. Float Allows the character to float just off the ground, allowing them to cross dangerous surfaces and making them immune to ground based attacks for 3 posts. Mobility Increases Jump and Glide by a level for the target for 3 posts. {Increase is based on the Magical Ability of the caster} Swift Wind Increases movement speed of the target for 3 posts. {Speed increase is based on the Magical Ability of the caster} Nul-Wind Disallows enemies use of the wind element and protects self and all allies from wind elemental damage for 3 posts. Aeroga Creates mini tornadoes that surround you and shoot out at all enemies and sends a bubble of wind out against all enemies surrounding you that protects you for a moment. Blastera Sends 4 shock wave shaped blasts of wind at a single target from 4 different angles. Reflega You instantly summon very large sized bubble of unbreakable light energy around yourself that blocks all attacks. If your enemy hits you with a physical attack when you use this spell then the light will explode back on them for equal damage to their physical attack. If your enemy hits you with a level one, two, or three spell when you use this it will bounce back at them at the speed it came. Summons: Xaldin can summon 4 Dragoon Nobodies at once in one thread. Dragoon Nobodies Pearl A baseball sized orb of Wind energy that stalks the foe for 3 posts. Pearl does average to advanced Wind damage and when Deflected the orb vanishes. Special Techniques: ((Each Ability that has an a. or b. is a move that can be performed after the base move which is a number. These moves can only be done after the base move ONLY! Cannot perform one after the other!)) 1. Horizons Call - Xaldin lunges at the enemy with three of his lances around him. a. Sonic Peirce - Xaldin spears an enemy with one of his Lances midair, dealing massive damage. b. Seismic Collision - Xaldin throws one of his lances over head and slam it into the enemy closest. His remaining Lances follow suit, and on the final Lance the enemy is forced to the ground. 2. Pearl Spiral - Xaldin summons three Pearls of Wind around him and then makes them spin around him. Each orb does average Wind damage each. Each Pearl disappears after the technique is finished. 3. Tunnel Arcana - Xaldin first begins spinning around his Lances with average physical attacks then changes his tatics by spinning himself drawing any enemy near even closer for more damage. He finishes by spinning two Lances each in hand firing a Pearl with every two spins of each Lance. a. Fusion Spinner - Xaldin creates a gust of wind that circles about his body in an X pattern. The winds dies down after two posts. Each gust deflects low level spells such as Fire. 4. Lancers Claw - Xaldin charges at his enemies with all 6 of his Lances and collides them together much like a claw. Each Lindworm does above average damage each due to the charge and the clamp action. 5. Banishment Circle - Xaldin tosses one of his lances towards the enemy and each of the others follow behind it as if linked together. He grabs the last one and spins it around his body and much like the first Lance had the others tail behind, the 5 remaining Lances spin around him also. a. Drastic Breeze - Xaldin leaps into the air and speeds back to the ground and makes a massive Wind shockwave. The shockwave causes the Airtoss effect on those who are hit by it. b. Encasing Trail - Xaldin creates a tornado-like wind from the end of the Lance he weilds and slams it into the ground several times (Several being roughly 3). Once the tornado slams into the ground the final time it spreads across the ground and knocks all around him off balance. 6. Aerial Disaster - A powerful combo finish in which Xaldin spins through the air, gathering a ball of wind around him. He can move around during the combo period to entrap enemies around him, dealing grinding damage until Xaldin releases the wind in a powerful blast. Enemies that have are on the ground but nearby take have the damage normally applied, targets in midair take 175% damage. 7. Jump - Xaldin jumps and in a quick instant reappears above the enemy and rushes to the ground. Once making contact with the ground Xaldin makes a small shockwave. Xaldin repeats this process three times in a row. 8. Beweldering Trap - Xaldin sends four of his Lances around an enemy or a small group of enemies. For one post they follow the opponent OR keep the small group together preventing them from moving to far apart from one another. At the end of the post the Lances disappear for but an instant then reappear and drive themselves into the center of the targeted area. 9. Crowes Calling - ((Mid air technique)) Xaldin performs a vertical rapid spin with Lindworm. His entire spin is 1440 degrees. a. Ripple Sweep - Hits multiple enemies with a wind aura-like attack. 10. Aeroga Sphere Creates a tornadoe-like shield that surrounds Xaldin and deflects minor spells and cancels out all Wind based spells (save for Ultimate spells). Joint Techniques: VIII Axel JT Name: Twin Fissions Xaldin looks to Axel. Number VIII states the obvious "Hmph, I got this." and Xaldin says what would make sense to follow. "Let us show no mercy..." Axel and Xaldin throw their weapons two one another, one chakram to Xaldin and three lances to Axel. They each over lap their weapons on top of one another combining the elements with them subtly with a small Magnega spell. Axel and Xaldin throw the weapons back and forth to one another making a combusted whirlwind. The starting ones are simply two small fire orbs spinning about the chakram/lances. Next is a small dome of spinning slashing fires. Lastly the chakrams/lances go back to back and they create two F1 sized flaming tornadoes that spin around slowly inflicting both ignite and air-tossed status effects. Technique does massive to critical damage to all around the two Organization members. The Magnega spell boosts the diameter of the JT to 100 feet. The Technique absorbs all levels of fire and wind spells save for Ultimate, it cannot be warped away, or be warped away from. X Luxord JT Name: Chrono Butcher Xaldin and Luxord both use their powers of Wind and Time to devastate the opponent. Luxord throws 12 cards up into the air which Xaldin's spears then pierce, 1 on each end of each spear, to create further reach and slice up the opponent. Luxord then uses his ability of Time to speed up the wind around Xaldin which increases the speed of Xaldin and his weapon's movement. Moveing at a faster rate, Xaldin can unleash much faster combinations which can be used to slice and dice opponents. JT wears off after 3 posts or until it is cancelled or Xaldin dies. Abilities: Aerial Recovery - You can expertly stop yourself if knocked into the air or you can regain your balance quickly if hit while in the air. Defense Mastery Regroups Guard, Magic Guard, Counter+, and Aerial Recovery, also improves toughness. Damage Control Halves the Damage you take when at critical health. Defender Increases your defense when outnumbered. Aerial Mastery Regroups Air Dodge MAX and Glide MAX in the same ability, also improves agility and speed. Ground Mastery Regroups Quick Run MAX and Dodge Roll MAX in the same ability, also improves strength and endurance. Element Boost Increases the effectiveness of spells of that element, one per element Combat Caster Regroups Magic LV3 and MP Hastera in the same ability, also slightly improves magic and mind. Magic Mastery Regroups Magic MAX and MP Hastega in the same ability, also improves magic and mind. 20 MP High Jump Lv 3 You can jump over a parking lot with ease now! Combat Mastery Groups Combo boost and Air combo boost into one ability slot, also improves combat abilities. True Corridor of Darkness Allows the use of Corridors of Darkness for travel between worlds. Specialization - At Demi God Tier, You May Choose one category: Magic, Abilities or Special Techniques to add 5, 10 or 15 more Abilities, Spells or Techniques. (( 5 Abilites )) Limit Breaks: Faceless Dispair Lindworm grows up to 5 times its regular size and floats around the battlefield. Xaldin rides upon the new form and develops a Wind sphere about him preventing small projectiles and basic attacks from effecting him. At the peak of the transformation, Lindworm will resemble a Dragon. The "jaw" will open and it will fire out a tornado-like blast which effects reach out to the most of 100 feet. The tornado blast will pick up debris and use it as well for the onslaught of Wind. The "dragon" will turn its head 45 degrees to the left, 90 to the right and then another 45 to the left returning it to its original postion then reverting back to Lindorms original form. Damage ranges up to 350% damage if all hits have been taken. Minimum amout is 185%. Can be blocked by an Ultimate spell that is not Wind based. Character Description: Xaldin is a broad-shouldered man whose attire consists of a basic Organization black cloak, along with the usual boots and gloves. Xaldin's black hair is styled into distinctive dreadlocks that flair dramatically when he manipulates the wind. One of these dreads is used to tie most of the others into a sort of ponytail, while four thinner dreads dangle in front of Xaldin's face (two on each side). He also has bushy eyebrows and very thick sideburns, the latter of which hook around his cheeks, parallel to his violet eyes. Xaldin also has flesh tunnels with an earring through the hole. Xaldin ((ITS BIG!)) Biography: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Xaldin plays a minor role in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Present when Xion joined Organization XIII, he aided Roxas on various missions, particularly to Beast's Castle. It was on one of these missions that Xaldin witnessed the Beast's power, the quest in Kingdom Hearts II to obtain the Beast's Heartless and Nobody beginning at this point. Xaldin's plan grew during the continuous visits to the castle, as he learned the strong connections between the Beast, his rose, and the only human in the castle, Belle. He deemed that it was a spell that made the Beast what he was, and the rose and Belle were important to the breaking of this spell. Xaldin decided to use this to his advantage and his plan began. Xaldin is present when Axel is ordered to eliminate Roxas after it is clear that Roxas has no intention of returning to the Organization, driving the order home by sending one of his lances into the backrest of Axel's chair, inches from his head. He is also present at a later meeting, breaking up an argument between Xigbar and Demyx, much to Luxord's disappointment. Kingdom Hearts II Xaldin appears with Xemnas, Saïx, Xigbar, Luxord, and Demyx at Hollow Bastion standing at the right of Xemnas. All he does in the confrontation is laugh emptily with the rest of the group at Xemnas's empty humor. Xaldin's first major appearance in the game is as a cloaked and hooded figure during Sora's first visit to Beast's Castle. At this time, Xaldin has already drained Beast of much of his hope and kindness by convincing him that Belle is plotting against him. Beast is unresponsive to Sora, Donald, and Goofy when they first greet him, despite having met them before in Kingdom Hearts at Hollow Bastion. Xaldin's slippery words cause Beast to lock himself in his chambers and refuse contact with them or Belle. Sora, fighting his way through the Heartless that have settled into the castle, eventually reaches Beast's bedroom. Xaldin tells Beast that Sora and his party are only there to help Belle against Beast, and that she has sent them to steal the rose symbolizing his curse from him with the intention of eventually taking his life. Beast, still under Xaldin's influence, attacks Sora as Xaldin flees, but Sora is able to bring Beast back to his senses. When Sora and Beast head downstairs into the ballroom, they encounter the Shadow Stalker Heartless, which attack them. After being defeated, it evolves into the large Dark Thorn, but that too is no match for Sora, and is destroyed. Xaldin leaves the area without actually fighting them himself, stating that it wasn't over, but continues to lurk in the world until Sora returns. Xaldin strikes again when Sora returns to Beast's Castle to find Belle and Beast having a private dance party. He captures Beast's rose and flaunts it in front of Beast, who goes into a rage and pursues Xaldin around his castle. Before Xaldin seems to disappear from the world entirely, he mocks Beast, taking off his hood and resolving to separate Beast's heart from him and take control of his Heartless and his Nobody. In Beast's anger, he rages at Belle for insisting on having the party. Despaired over the loss of his rose and his own beastly state, Beast orders Belle to leave the castle. Belle shuts herself in her room, confining herself to looking out on the balcony. There she finds Beast's rose, and gladly signals to Sora from the balcony. The rose is just a trap, however, and Xaldin appears behind her, kidnapping her as well as retaking the rose. Xaldin flies down in front of Beast in his courtyard, taunting him by saying he can only carry either the rose or Belle along with him, and forcing Beast to choose which one he wants him to leave behind. Before Beast has time to choose, however, Belle elbows Xaldin in the side and grabs the rose, taking the time from Xaldin's surprise to escape his grasp. Beast then attacks Xaldin, who leaps aside and conjures six long spears using his powers over wind. He battles Sora and Beast on the bridge, using his abilities to the fullest, but is eventually defeated, and fades back into the darkness. Manga Secret! Personality: Xaldin is a high-ranking and independent Organization member, working alone for the entirety of his presence in Kingdom Hearts II (sans his hooded appearance in Hollow Bastion). Xaldin acts sadistic and appears to revel in despair, attempting to cause hopelessness for Beast both in the castle and by taunting him and Sora during their fight. He is tall, strongly built, and very acrobatic, and his physical capabilities are greatly enhanced by his control of the attribute of wind, which he can use to move himself into a variety of attacks. Interestingly enough, some of Xaldin's in battle quotes and the delivery of his lines seem to give him a sense of indifference (emphasized by the fact that he will hold his arms behind his back in scenes, and even in battle). His unpleasant personality is shown in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, where he is sarcastic and impatient with Roxas during their missions together. He expresses a keen interest in the psychological weaknesses of his opponents, and how they can be exploited, explaining why he was given the task of turning Beast into a Heartless. This also shows during his investigation, where the only details he finds relevant are ones that show more about the personalities of those who live there (which he concludes with great accuracy, given his Nobody status). During his time at Beast's Castle, Xaldin is shown to despise the Beast's love for Belle, hinting that his heart may have been broken when he was a somebody. He also seems to enjoy fighting opponents, a trait that is shown during the Dark Follower mission. As well, he disapproves of laziness, which is something he, when spoken to in the Grey Area, says he cannot stand. This disapproval is also implied when, during a mission with Roxas, he tells the younger Nobody "No breaks". In the Secret Reports, he writes that he has a contempt for beings with emotion, and that he desires a heart so that he may be able to do what only people with hearts can do; he has no desire to feel emotion. He has been shown to have an incredibly pessimistic side, stating that the power of love is stuff of poetry, not practicality, and that love never lasts. RP Sample: Xaldin rises from his slumber and looks about him. He's still in Beasts' Castle. His six lances lay about him just as he did before he let them go when Sora had bested him. He picks himself up and dispels Lindworm and opens a Corridor of Darkness back to Castle That Never Was. Xaldin walks to his room and looked about it. Nothing has changed in the time elapsed. Just as he thought it would, but the one thing he had expected to remain was Kingdom Hearts. The heart shaped moon floating above the Nobody Castle had stayed but there was a large black whole within it. Something new had happened and he wanted to find out what had happened, but to his luck, no one was available at the moment. Xaldin walked out his room then opened another Corridor and went to The Hall of Empty Melodies. He looks about himself and sees the residue of Pureblood Heartless all about the area. Their stench has painted itself everywhere in Xigbars favorite battlefield. Xaldin tried to contain himself as he headed for the Grey Area to search for others. Upon arrival he notices several powers have jumped from nowhere. The princess's of Heart.... Superior has been busy. |
