( before I post I was just thinking, couldnt vanitas and Kairi fighting create an X-blade?)

"hmmpf...so you're just all of the bad feelings personified? you're nothing more than a nightmare, you're less than a heartless, or a nobody, you're just a bad feeling, nothing more." He held up his keyblade as the unversed began to position themselves around Vanitas, it seemed that they would finally be having a good fight now. Before they began Riku realized that the dark Sora was doing nothing more than recycling the unversed back onto the field, even if they destroyed them, they would only be brought back, there was no way to win like that. He planted a hand on the floor and placed a great seal over the entire district of Disney town, the null zone would mean that no status ailments or buffs could be placed, but also that nobody could summon, hopefully it would cap the unversed for a while.

The Iron Prisoner that was just spawned leaped towards him and Kairi, and was ready to try and crush them under the weight of its flaming hammer, but it would ave more than a hard time getting to hit someone like Riku. He used his unlimited speed to race out of the blast area, and leap up high, letting the unversed slam needlessly into the ground. He was unsure whether Kairi had managed to avoid the attack, but he knew if she was even half as good as he hoped she was, then she'd be just fine. From his vantage point on the sidelines, he got to see the beast create a cage around of Lucia, burning her up a little " Let her go!" He cried, charging back towards the unversed, and slamming his keyblade straight into it's chest, again and again and again. He used a warpaga spell to warp himself high above the unversed, just as vanitas fired an orbaga spell " haha is that all you've got? C'mon fire everything at me!" he needed to be the only target, Lucia was in danger, and Namine could get destroyed without help, he would need to protect them as much as he could.

The orbaga spells raced closer as he dropped through the sky, he only had a second or two to prepare before....
*boom!* the orbs of darkness all exploded, and waves of dark energy were shot out all around, it seemed as though they had all been sucessful hits, but as Riku saw form his protective bubble that was not true. Just as the orbs got into range, he created a penumbra shield, an impenetrable shield that saved him from all damage, and sent out a blast of darkness, that would destroy the final orbs that had not yet hit. As the shield faded, Riku glided down a little, until he was just above Vanitas, whom would probably thin that from the blasts that Riku was dead. Wrong. He blasted a volley of dark firaga at Vanitas, a mixture of dark and fire and time, which would burn and blast him, while at the same time inflicting stop upon him.

He glided away from the creature, standing on the mangled remains of an al fresco coffee shop, prepared to deal a crushing blow to the beast. His limit break "twin burst" was the ultimate harmony of light and darkness' destructive power, hopefully it would be more than enough to take out the iron prisoner.Riku concentrated the energy within himself to strike out with two immensely powerful beams. First of all he opened his left palm and holds it forward, from it a huge burst of light energy came forth, spreading wide and engulfing vanitas and the iron prisoner. After the enemies has been hit with the light, he raised his right hand, and from under the ground came a giant dark beam of energy, which would completely obliterate both of them, while completely avoiding his friends. Riku panted a little, using moves like that always took it out of him a little, but he was quickly ready to fight back. " We can do this guys!"

Hell had officially broken loose.

Kairi had begun her assault on the dark "Sora", or non-Sora, brutally and relentlessly attacking him with what looked to be light. Vanitas had escaped the deadly flying blades (which she found resembled keys, which was very strange to her) and retaliated with his own darkness, their blades clashing with sparks. For a moment, Lucia could only watch and analyze the situation. And then Vanitas began an explanation of these creatures, called "The Unversed". As he described them, something clicked in her head. Emotions. Dark emotions. That's how he made them. That's how Lucia could drive people mad in battle. Her own misery being projected out on others.

She didn't know whether her misery was strong enough to summon an entire race, but it gave her an idea for this battle. If she could confuse The Unversed themselves or surprise Vanitas with the presence of other dark memories and emotions -not connected to his own- maybe, just maybe she could spare Kairi and Riku a few seconds to finish him off. Whether or not she took damage was not a concern, even though her Negative Force would be unleashed unbridled. Riku and Kairi would escape the worst of it, but Lucia, Vanitas, and The Unversed would get the full blow.

Yes, this time Lucia was going to suffer from her own attack.

Before she could even set this into motion, a flaming cage came her way. Dodging an enemy was one thing; a burning, metal cage hurling at her at a speed that was faster than her own was another. The thing opened up, like an animal opening it's maw to swallow its prey whole, and she was thrown into the cage. At first, she was slightly dazed from slamming into the burning, metal bars. At first, she wasn't worried about fire damage. It wasn't until a searing pain took over her body that this fire could hurt her. It wasn't her own fire, so it could hurt her.

The girl stifled a cry of pain, picking herself up and away from most of the flames. The metal on which she stood burned at her bare feet. Her eyebrows drew together as she willed the pain away. She could tolerate it for now. At the moment, she had to figure a way out of this cage; she would be burned alive if she didn't, fire element or not. Even worse than the fire was the smoke. The black tendrils of it were all around her, and there was no helping breathing the toxic fumes in. Upon her first breath in that cage, she could feel her lungs heaving, trying to expel it. But she couldn't. It made her dizzy, and her thoughts muddled. Worse off, Riku had blocked summoning, so Maika was rendered silent in her mind. There was no way to communicate her, leaving Lucia to fend completely for herself.

She tried to sort out her thoughts. Think of a way out. But there wasn't much she could do, with the flames not being her own... Flames. Her own flames. If she could set the cage on fire with her own flames, over power the ones currently bearing down on her, she could be able to manipulate the metal that confined her to this little space.

Raising her tonfas, the girl looked for any weak points in the cage. The hinges of the door would work. The metal was a high melting point, but if her flames burned the cage as well, those hinges wouldn't take too long to start softening. Lucia began beating at the hinges, letting the fire that crawled along her weapons spread onto the cage. Only she could distinguish the difference between the two; it wasn't something one could differentiate by sight, but by feeling. Her resolve wasn't strong enough, so the other flames choked hers out. She continued to beat against the cage door, using all the strength she could muster. Her breathing was labored, and a sheen formed on her skin: sweat. The heat in the cage was rising, almost unbearable. The smoke was really starting to take it's toll, the more she panted.

She had to stop. She couldn't take it anymore. Lucia collapsed, palms on knees planted on the ground. She couldn't breathe. The searing heat and smoke made her eyes smart, tears leaving tracks on her slightly sooty face. Looking out, she could see Kairi and Riku fighting with everything they had. They were holding out, but for how long? And Nami was completely defenseless. Nami... Kairi and Riku could only do so much. It could only take seconds for them to both be distracted enough to have Nami in a position where she... she...

No. Lucia wasn't going to let that happen. Even if she didn't know those two girls personally, and had only just begun to really trust Riku, she couldn't let them down. They were stronger than herself, but that didn't mean she couldn't at least try. She wasn't going to give up her life; she was going to keep fighting. Wasn't that one of the rule Riku had told her?

Wearily, the battered girl picked herself up. Her single, visible orb had transformed from fearful, to a look of startling determination. The girl resumed beating her tonfas against the hinges of the cage door, with a a level of ferocity she didn't even know she possessed. The strain on her body was enough to fall most people, but Lucia was too focused on this task to even notice it now. She was somewhere else, but there at the same time. The sound of metal against metal was deafening, and her flames and the flames of the cage fought each other in a series of crackles and flare ups. Her resolve was too strong for the flames that held her; her own beat out the others, leaving the cage on fire with her own. The hinges had softened significantly, and with one final hit, the cage door gave out. Pulled from her hyper focused state, Lucia tumbled out on the cobble stones of the square. She could barely pick herself up. But she had too. She wasn't going to let Kairi, Nami, and Riku down.

Lucia took a defensive position in front of the pale girl, Nami. She glanced back, giving her a quick nod to her to show that she was going make sure no harm came her way. Now that her flames were all over the cage, she could now make the cage do her will. She ripped the cage apart with her flames, bar by bar, until all the pieces of it hovered a few feet above her. With her gloved hand, Lucia pointed at Vanitas sharply. The pieces rose higher, before flying at an alarming speed at him and his Unversed. Granted they hit the target, the two would be battered around by the burning metal as well as having her flames possibly set them ablaze.

Lucia swayed on her feet. The hum in her blood was slowly gaining power again. She cast Regen, which she remembered could cancel it out. It would have to do for now.

Negative Force. She remembered. But maybe it wasn't such a good idea at all, in her current condition. It wasn't worth it.

Namine could only watch with wide eyes as the battle erupted around her.

She had no weapon, but she had magic. Not that it would do too much damage, because she had varying levels of spells. She had already used an ultimate level spell, and the three seemed to be fairing pretty well against Vanitas at the moment. She'd possibly use it again if it was necessary later on.

She shrunk back, trying to stay out of the way of flying debris and people and Unversed, as the fake Sora had called them. She was baffled, to say the least; the ability to use emotions in such a powerful way was unheard of to her. Then again, he was linked to Sora, who always seemed to have endless surprised tucked up those puffy sleeves of his. She had to think this through. Even if they were managing for now, she had to help somehow.

Nami had a bit of a guilty conscience.

Being that he was connected to Sora, could she alter his memory? But it was weird, because there was something different about Vanitas. It was as if... as if he came before Sora in a way. She wasn't sure what it was. She had several ideas that could help to weaken him, but she could not draw these things out with her pencil and paper (which was required for her memory alteration). Never had Nami felt more useless than now, in the heat of battle. Especially when the red-haired girl, who she had saw as a cold person, had fought her way out of the cage and now took a position to protect her.

Intertwining her fingers together, she prayed to anyone or anything that her friends -Kairi, Riku, and Lucia- would be able to defeat Vanitas.

From Searching for a way to achieve good

Feng landed on two feet in Disney Castle town. Scirocco landed next to him, but quickly fell to the ground in a heap. Feng winced at his friend's clear tiredness. He knelt down next to him, amusement and gratefulness shining in his eyes. "Go ahead and get some rest, Roc. You're really doing so much for me. Thank you." The eagle sent his master a grateful look before popping out of sight, leaving only a few black feathers dancing in the air. Feng stood up straight, stretching, and sighed. "Well, where the heck am I now?" He pursed his lips before sighing.

The town itself didn't look to dangerous. Honestly, it looked more like a homey little kingdom all in itself. Feng smiled and waved at people passing by. The town was peaceful, and everyone in it looked happy. If Feng had to compare it to any town, it looked a heck of a lot like Coelestis. Well, Coelestis before the war, at least. His grin faltered for a second, but he thought back to his new friend, Shou's, wise words, and instead looked forward. He looked around the town with a childlike curiosity. It was a busy place, that was for certain.

He passed many different stores; clothing stores, food stores, bars.... He grimaced at the last one. He had, after all, assisted in the destruction of one in Traverse Town only a few hours before. He laughed a little to himself before humming a small tune. He grinned a wide, childish grin before practically skipping over to a small ice cream stand. For some reason, ever since he was little, ice cream had always been his greatest comfort. Some people were disturbed by that, but his older sister had always taken him for ice cream when something really good or really bad happened. Which was almost all the time for a younger Feng. Now that he had his own money and was on his own journey, it was almost a guilty pleasure for him.

Cookie Dough was always his favorite flavor. He smiled happily to himself as he walked along the sidewalk of the town, licking the ice cream cone in his hand. He held his other hand on the hilt of Storm Chaser, almost lazily. It was, once again, like he didn't have a care in the world. It was like... like he was still six, walking along the sidewalk, holding his older sister's hand. He smiled sadly at the memory, which had decided to resurface after being buried for almost six years. It was probably just the conversation with Shou that brought up bittersweet memories for him once again. He sighed.

That was when he heard it. It was a familiar sound to him... the sound of clanging swords. The sound that, to Feng, meant a challenge, or perhaps just training. He immediately pulled out Storm Chaser, shielding his ice cream as he rushed to finish swallowing it in as little time as possible. He didn't want to let his ice cream go to waste.

He stopped short seeing a group of people desperately fighting against another young man. He bit his lip and scanned the group of younger people. There were two girls with red hair, another girl with blonde hair, and a boy, who looked around the same age as Feng, desperately fighting against a young boy with black, spiky hair. Of course, he decided that the people that weren't wearing black were the good guys.

He hoped he wasn't making a mistake.

The Wind Prince drew Storm Chaser, and jumped down next to the red-haired girl who was wielding two menacing-looking tonfas, looking at her and directly saying, "I'm here to help, if you'll allow me. My name's Feng." He smiled a little. "Sorry if I'm just barging in. I have this inability to walk away from a fight." He raised Storm Chaser in a defensive position and prepared for the worst... from either side.

This wasn't right... this man seemed to have an army at his fingertips, how could they stop such power? This guy... if he wasn't sora, and not his heartless or nobody, why did he look like him, it just... it didn't make sense why... why...

"Kairi! get your head in the game! watch out!"

Thant thing was swinging it's... mace? at her raising her keyblade kairi attempted to parry the blow, but the creatures overwhelming power sent her spiraling back and crashing to the ground.

"Kairi, your not ready for this kind of threat, please, let me help you, for now" Angello's voice rang in her ear.

"B.... but..."

"No buts, I won't allow you to come to harm, not like this"

"Fine... but be careful"

"You should probably be telling that to the unversed, not me!" Angello stated cockly

Kairi then dispelled her keyblade and took the her ARK book from her side and held it in front of her pointing it held between her hands at vantias and the massive Unversed as if the book itself was a blade, then light energy begain to seep out from her body rapidly, seeping even to the ground around her, her words thene echoed across the battle scared town, as if it was a call for hope.

"Brace your fang, and rise trickster!"
"Verto Angello"
Verto Angello

She was then completly enveloped by the light, which constrained to get smaller and smaller until riona's favorite little pet came walking out as the light faded away.
"My turn now" He said in antispation as the orbs came flying at him he gave one loud and mighty Bark causing the orbs to fade from existence with Dispell Angello then looked over the opponets in front of him, he knew that the boy was a powerful opponet, as was the Unversed by his side, so he needed to finish this quickly, before his time was up.

With a powerful burst he was surrounded in a barrier of ligth ((Angello Rush)) And began tearing towards Vantias at an incredble pace knowing he had to be takin down if the Unversed were to truly stop appearing, as he neared him angello rushed and smashed through vantias several times with the barrier of light surrounding him, pontently doing quite a bit of damage if it hit, he then jumped a few inches and shit off with Angelo Cannon Ramming his body into the hammer weilding unversed in an attempt to get some damage in on him. He then finally stepped back to see his handiwork, hoping he had done enough to get them to retreat.

Vanitas still had the terrible feeling of defeat, was it because he was fighting three people? No, Vanitas has fought against three before....Terra, Aqua, and Ventus....So why did he feel so overpowered? Vanitas chuckled as Riku attacked, he reminded him of Terra. The best friend who wielded Darkness....Would he wind up like the Earth user and become a pawn of Master Xehanort as well? Riku appeared and slashed the chest of his Unversed multiple times but the Masked Boy didn't care, The Iron Prisoner could take quite a beating.

As Riku appeared above Vanitas he thought he was already done for as the Orbaga had apparently hit him, but he was a little surprised as the white haired boy jumped from the smoke and fired several Dark Firagas at him. Vanitas countered by releasing his own Dark Firagas, the balls of black and blue fire collided in a bright array of black and blue fireworks. Vanitas looked at Riku who was charging incredible power in his hands.

"He can utilize Light and Darkness?.....This is probably why the Master told me not to underestimate my opponents.."

As Riku fired his beams of Light and Darkness at Vanitas The Masked Boy flew off his giant monster with his Levitation, the monster jumped in front of the giant, swirling cannon. Sacrificing himself for his master and slightly weakening the blast as it came for Vanitas. The boy pointed his blade at the oncoming attack as five large crystals formed in front of his keyblade. His Limit Break: Ultimate Dark Cannon fired a humongous, Kamehameha wave like cannon of pure Darkness and collided with Riku's blast attack. The two beams struggled for several seconds, causing powerful shock waves and wind gusts across the battlefield, an awe of pure power as the beams ceased movement and com busted into a powerful explosion, the force pushed Vanitas away a little bit as Riku's blast was slightly stronger due to being both Light and Darkness.

"Ugh if I only had more time to charge up my cannon...wait...where did Kairi go?"

Just as Vanitas finished his question he was answered from several powerful strikes to his stomach and chest, he gasped for air as a dog like creature rushed at him at deafening speeds....How could a dog like creature be so fast? Vanitas then felt the powerful energy, Kairi? After the final blow was struck Vanitas fell from the air, slamming hard into the ground, his unmasked face glared at the group, which just got a fifth member. Vanitas was severely outmatched now, he panted heavily as he used his Keyblade for support.

"Ha ha ha! Not bad at all you guys! Anyway I kind of have the feeling I'm not going to win this fight but hey, I'll give you SOME answers."

Vanitas slowly stood up, Darkness seeped into his body as the dying Iron Prisoner finally returned to the Master of Unversed.

"I'm not a bad memory Riku, I have a Heart like you and Kairi do. But unlike hers which is nothing but Light mine is nothing but Darkness, and I wasn't originally even related to Sora at all...but another boy just like him. His heart is pure Light just like yours Kairi.."

Vanitas felt anxious, he wanted to continue fighting but it would be a pointless death if he tried to.

"The boy's name was Ventus, we were originally one body but the Master seperated all of the Darkness within his Heart, which formed me. From something Venny somehow touched Sora's Heart, which is why I have your friends appearance. I was killed before, ironically by Ventus. When I died both mine and Sora's Hearts now rested in Sora's, I saw everything he saw, remembered all of his friends. I'm still contemplating myself how to do it but I managed to escape and return. That's not even half of it you guys so don't think I'm revealing all of my plans to you."

suddenly Darkness formed under Vanitas' feet, he was buying time to summon a Corridor and Vanitas chuckled a bit as he sank into the black portal.

"Sora doesn't even know of Ventus and I so talking to him about this is probably pointless. Anways...Kairi...Riku, Namine, I'll see you all around I guess. Try to get stronger by then so its a fair fight okay?"

Vanitas then disappeared totally into Darkness, leaving the crowd on their own.

Riku reversed back ontop of some rubble, shielding himself behind an upturned table, his keyblade at the ready to strike out when Vanitas came looking for him. He knew he had managed to finish of the beast he commanded, yet people like vanitas didnt die too easily, he knew that Vanitas was still ready to find, however unluckily for him, so was Riku. He waited to hear the crushing blow of a keyblade smashing into the floor, or the deafening boom of magic being released, however...nothing. He heard absolutely nothing from the battlefield behind him, no swords clashing, no death nothing. He knew it seemed foolish, but he chose to leave his defensive barracade, and meet the demon face on, thats when he saw him...just standing there.

Like a wounded deer, he seeed to have contemplated how hopeless this battle truly was. Despite being strong he had no chance of defeating so many powerful opponents, it was only natural to wave the white flag and hope that youre allowed the blessing of survival. Vanitas then spoke of dark experiments, of a schism of the soul, and of harboring in the heart of Sora. It all seemed too unreal, however the dark creatures that he could bring out, and the crazy glint in his eyes...He knew he was telling the truth. Yet one thing truly stunned Riku, this speak of " the master", whoever this person was, he was strong enough to deem the respect and adoration of someone like Vanitas....he would need to look into this at some point, he could be a threat.

The enemy had abandoned them to no surprise, he was nothing but a coward deep down, after all fear is a key part of the darkness. " Everyone alright?" he cried out to his friends, glancing around at them, checking their wounds. A tingling sensation in the back of his mind, and the sudden urge to punch something was enough to remind him of Lucia's latent ability " Dammit Lucy! This is not the time shut the damn thing off!" He screamed out, marching towards her angrily. Yet as he got up to her, and saw the slowly healing wounds and burn marks, he managed to break free of the negativity, if only for a second. " Im...im sorry Lucia, that thing you do, just sometimes gets to me..." He eyes her over and casted a curaga spell, it was enough to fully heal any wounds their group had taken, " heh....We did it guys...We really did it..."

Disney town was in shambles, the unversed that had managed to escape their death right at the start had spread out to the nearby areas of the city, causing chaos and discord wherever they went, thankfully with Vanitas' retreat they too had disappeared, the residents of Disney town were safe for another day. He gazed over the wrecked plaza only to see a young boy, sword in hand, eyes aflame with ferocity and passion for battle, he reminded Riku of himself only a few years ago. " Hey kid, thanks for the offer, but it looks like you just missed him, hows the rest of the city?"

Fortunately, nothing had come Namine's way. That made her job a bit easier. And then, the battle just ended; no warning, no nothing, everything just stopped. Vanitas began to speak again; he spoke of things she had no comprehension of, so she had just tuned him out as she took a record of how much damage she had sustained: not bad. Enough to make her unsteady, but not bad. The only thing that really hurt was the Negative Force in effect. Because it not only was effecting everyone else on the battlefield, but herself.

She forced a neutral expression on her face, as she searched for a way to harness it back in, to force it back into her body where it belonged. It clearly was taking it's toll on Riku, for he was now storming over angrily towards her. That did it right there. She snapped, from the built up feelings from before, and from Negative Force eating away at her sanity. As he came up, she could not restrain her hand from flying up to his face. A loud crack ensued, as her hand met his check harshly.

"Sorry for trying to help your asses! I figured I could do something. I didn't have to do that, or even think about protecting Namine! Next time around, don't expect me to do anything. I won't be there for it!" Lucia was livid. "I'm not nearly as strong as you guys. I had to do something; I wasn't just going to stand there! And mind you, that that move was at my own price. So you can shut your mouth, because you're not the one who truly lives that pain you're being made to feel, are you?! You know nothing!"

Her voice rang across the dead quite square, and as it bounced back to her, she came back to her senses (which weren't that much better, but at least she had more morals in that state). I'm... I'm sorry Lucia, that thing you do, just sometimes gets to me... He wasn't the only one. Her own words continued to echo in her head long after the echoes in the square had died off. She... she sounded like a monster. Those words were out of hatred, the hatred that had been festering within her for so long. Lucia allowed her head to hang, both eyes hidden beyond the fringe of her flame colored hair. She could see just through it the red mark on his face where she had struck him.

Why had she done that? Why?

She hated herself for that red mark. She hated her words. Her words were even worse than the slap; words could build or break something. Who was broken in this case, she wasn't sure. Maybe herself, maybe Riku, maybe both of them. She bit down on her tongue, angry and frustrated with herself. Kairi and Namine.... She couldn't look at any of them. She couldn't look at the new person who had arrived, which just made the current situation worse.

Lucia cast Cura, for any injuries Curaga hadn't fixed up. It would also soothe the red splotch on Riku's face, where her hand had so carelessly harmed. Without looking at any of them she turned away from them. "I guess I'll go see if anybody needs help in the town." She said softly, before sprinting off down the street. She needed some time alone, right now. Maybe making sure this battle hadn't caused harm elsewhere would numb her a little, make this pain go away for now.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

They'd done it. Vanitas was surrendering, for now. Her friends were battered here and there, worn down a bit, but none the less alive and fairly well. Namine couldn't ask for much better than that.

As Vanitas spoke, it was as if this whole thing with the war, Xemnas, Xehanort, was one big spider web, growing ever more complicated by the minute. She was right; in a way, Vanitas was in fact connected to Sora, through this Ventus person. Where Ventus was as of now, there was no telling. There wasn't much else to be said, besides Sora not even knowing more than one person made him who he was.

And without a further adieu, Vanitas was gone. The threat had passed; but it had left it's mark on Disney Town. Beautiful, beautiful Disney Town was a mess. Bits of rubble, stone, items from the shops were scattered everywhere around them, and not a soul was present. It was eerily quiet now. Seeing this place so... damaged, because of them... Well, it was mostly Vanitas's fault for provoking such a fight, trying to defeat her friends, but still...

This war was going to cause a lot of damage. The damage in Disney Town would be nothing compared to the destruction this war was going to bring in the coming future. And now, it was rapidly approaching. Practically on top of them.

The trouble wasn't over, though. She could feel something dark nagging away at her, threatening to consume her consciousness. It was coming from the girl with the flame colored hair, Lucia. What was it? It wasn't dark in itself, but more.... it was emotional. Emotional darkness. It hurt, very much. Even for someone lacking a heart.

Before she knew entirely what was going on, Riku was marching over to Lucia angrily, and she retaliated with a terrible, loud slap. Namine's big blue eyes widened. The girl was yelling at him, obviously upset, but why...

Gawking wasn't the right thing, though. She figured if this was going to be a fight of it's own, she'd keep out of it. Namine headed over to the puppy like creature, which her sister had transformed into. She didn't look hurt at all -or he, in this case-, but she crouched down anyways, worried. She'd never seen her sister perform a move like this, transforming into something else.

"Things are really going down hill, aren't they...?"

Well... that bites.

Feng had missed their opponent by a few seconds. The dark boy had fled, back through a portal, and into the darkness. He groaned, slumping over in disappointment and relief. Although one part of his mind was totally upset that he missed a good fight, his other side was celebrating. Scirocco wasn't the only one who was totally worn out from their fight against the Darkside. He barely heard the yelling and the raised voices of the silver-haired boy and the red-haired girl, but he did hear the horrible crack that he knew all-too-well. The girl had just slapped her companion, and Feng winced, seeing the imprint of her hand on his cheek. She seemed shocked, too. Shocked and angry, with herself, for slapping him. Feng moved forward to put a hand on her shoulder, to try and give her comfort, much like Shou had when he was down on himself.

"It's okay. Don't be angry with yourself. Heat of the moment, right?" is what he wanted to say to her.

But he didn't get the chance. She simply ran off to the town, muttering something about seeing if anyone needed help. Feng watched her go, worried, even though he didn't even know her name. The silver-haired boy, seemingly recovered from the slap and the battle, sent a small smile towards Feng, and asked about the town. Feng shrugged, shoving the rest of the ice cream into his mouth and swallowing. "Well, when I was walking through, everything looked okay... I mean, better than the last place I was," he explained. His gaze once again tugged towards the retreating form of the girl. "Uh... sorry for intruding, but I'm going to check up on her. Looks like she needs some help..." He trailed off, not wishing to insult the others around him.

Instead, he ran down the hill, catching up with the red-haired stranger. She still was looking quite sullen compared to her companions. Feng smiled slightly as he walked next to her for a few seconds before looking over at her and saying, "You know, the rest of the town is just fine. But as for you... are you okay?" he asked worriedly. "Well-I'm-I mean, I... Look, I met someone in the last world who basically told me look forward to the future, but live for the moment. Don't be upset for something so minor. Your friend wouldn't get mad at you just for that." He smiled assuredly at her, and continued to look forward. He then realized that Storm Chaser was still gripped in his hand, and he laughed nervously. Storm Chaser made a small, agitated sound as it slid back into its sheath. He continued to walk alongside the girl with a small smile on his face, waiting for her response.

Oh hell.

Disney Town was in utter shambles. Debris was everywhere, marring the childish beauty of the town. It looked like there had been a massive earthquake followed by a huge tornado. It was hard to believe that all this damage was from a battle. Then again, it was Riku and Kairi vs. Vanitas. All strong individuals, placed in a small arena. Of course there was going to be a shit load of damage.

Larxene hung in the shadows, hood obscuring her face; she was actually listening to Roxas. For now, at least. Slipping quietly out, she realized that this section of town was abandoned. No people to see her, to recognize her coat. The cost was clear. She threw her hood back, her golden hair reflecting the sun that hung high above the town square. And in the town square were Riku, the witch, Nami (so she had been right after all, that she was back), a random dog that felt like Kairi (new move, maybe?), and two unfamiliar faces. A girl with fiery red hair like Axel's, her long, spiky locks fixed into a high pony tail. The other was a boy, maybe two years older than the girl, with dark hair and creepy silver eyes.

Larxene was silently making her way over to Nami and the dog before she heard a loud crack, and her head instinctively turned to the source of the sound. The fiery girl practically B**** slapped Riku across the face, who moments before was yelling at her about something or other. At this, Larxene could barely stifle her giggle. After apparently was the girl having second thoughts about her actions, she fled, with the dark haired boy following after her.

"Man, Riku...." She said in her mocking voice as she shook her head pitifully at him. "Apparently you need some education about how to treat a woman, so she doesn't do... that." She gestured to the spot where the girl had hit him, smirking. Back to the task at hand: Kairi.

"And the little witch is back, Namine. Good to see you. I assume that would be Kairi, yes? Her prince has been fretting over her, so I figured I'd come and pick her up while I'm on recon. What did you guys do here, set off a bomb? This place is trashed."

Angello immediately dispelled himself after the darkness that was vantias left the world, with a simple bark the light enveloped him and kairi was once more standing where angello had been moments ago, the ARC book at her side she placed it into a holder at her side, as she stood back up she was shocked by the going ons between her friends, old and new.

""Sorry for trying to help your asses! I figured I could do something. I didn't have to do that, or even think about protecting Namine! Next time around, don't expect me to do anything. I won't be there for it! I'm not nearly as strong as you guys. I had to do something; I wasn't just going to stand there! And mind you, that that move was at my own price. So you can shut your mouth, because you're not the one who truly lives that pain you're being made to feel, are you?! You know nothing!"

"Strength doesn't come from power, it's when your willing to fight for what you believe, when despite the odds you can defend a person, no matter who they may be, the will to do what you know is right" She said placing a hand on her shoulder however soon she broke off and ran further into the
town followed close by the brown haired boy.

"Riku... I think she needs you"

It was then a a yellow haired woman stepped behind them, mocking, kairi resisted the urge to giggle
at her comment about riku's skills with woman, he always got the gockers back at home, guess the outside world was different though she thought still surpassing the urge to laugh. she then took a moment to examine her appearance, she wore the coat of the organization. kairi calmed a little at this, it wasn't another threat, they were safe.

"Nah it's not my power at all, it's angello's" She said with a bright smile, this woman, to say she had a presence would be an understatement, to say she had her own humor would be even more of one.

"I assume that would be Kairi, yes? Her prince has been fretting over her, so I figured I'd come and pick her up while I'm on recon. What did you guys do here, set off a bomb? This place is trashed."

"You mean roxas?!" She said worriedly, this was horrible.... she had come here so roxas wouldn't have to worry over her well being, she had failed again, she had only made him worry worse.

"Riku..... Namine..... I...." She turned away silently for a brief second, She was just getting to see riku again but...

No problem, you can't play the damsel in distress forever, you're far from it!

It's there O.K? That's what's important that it's there....admitting it will come later

I'm sure you've been there and back with Ansem...I'll make him pay

I will destroy you Hayner

The random thoughts emotions the things that she had been through with roxas.... they all just flew through her head, and a tear fell from her eyes that because of her, his hearts were hurting, and he had two hearts.... that meant the pain he was feeling was double than anything she was feeling right now.... turning back to riku she started solely and sternly.

"Riku.... lucia needs you... Roxas.... he needs me, now... and I... I need him to, do you, understand? I have to go back, at least, for now" She said, another tear falling from her cheek.

"Can you please just.... take care of my sisters? and... Namine.... remember it's always up to you" She said forcing a smile.

"I love you both, never forget that ok?, my sister and my brother.... even though it's not by blood... forever..... goodbye" She said and after listing to what they had to say she moved over to larxene and said simply.

"Take me to him"

"You might want to hold on a second there, Kairi." A voice called from nearby. The now familiar (for some) black robed, white masked man appeared. It was a Fragment of Xemnas, though Larxene would likely notice that this one's voice was different from the one she met moments ago. The one she had met sounded like an older Xemnas, this one didn't sound like Xemnas at all, he sounded like a teenage boy. There was an innocence in his voice. "I have to deliver a message to Riku."

As he approached the group, he would stop near Larxene, looking her up and down for a moment. He then shrugged, turned his head and seemed to speak to thin air, "Yeah, she's hot, but that's no reason to act like a pig." He seemed to listen to something for a moment before turning to Larxene. "I feel I must apologize for the behavior of that Other Fragment. He represents Master Xehanort's Id, his selfish desires and impulses. His...sexual drive, has long been suppressed by Xemnas' emotionless state, and that caused him to act even more pig-headed than normal."

He would then turn and walk towards Riku, until he was a couple feet away. "I bear a message from Roxas, temporary Superior of the Organization. Roxas says that you are to take no further actions against the Nobodies. Kairi's childhood friend or not, Roxas will not tolerate you bringing harm to his precious family. Even if you don't agree with the Organization's goal, we want peace. Focus your wrath against the Heartless and the Unversed, the only ones who honestly wish evil upon people. Xehanort, with his recent absorption of Ansem, has become fairly dangerous, and should be your biggest priority."

He would then be quiet for a moment, looking off to the side again. "So, am I done here?" He asked someone only he could hear.

"Listen Lucia im-SMACK" as Lucia's palm connected with the side of his face, a loud defeaning sound rang through the plaza, then silence. Riku dare not make a noise, his mind had completely stopped functioning for just a second, thoug to him it seemed like an hour passed. He simply stood there, staring at Lucia, a palm shaped pain spreading fast and burning at his cheek. palm raised to the side of his face, he stared her down, his eyes locked with hers, his mouth hung agape " lucia....".

Then she stormed off closely followed by the young kid who had appeared just as Vanitas left, he needed to catch up to her! He raced to the street they had left through, yet trampling over the mass of rubble the unversed left in their wake slowed him down, by the time he even reached the start of the street, they were nowhere to be found " *sigh*..Dammit Lucy, stay safe" He reluctantly returned to the remaining friends he had left, hoping the least he could do was make sure they were safe when they tried to leave. However it seemed that he wasn't even successful at that, Larxene, that cocky lightning B**** was here, making her way to the sisters, he couldnt let her touch them.

He jetted off, this time choosing to leap straight over the rubble and debris from their battle, bounding rapidly towards the girls, his keyblade drew once more, the rage from Lucia's ability not yet faded, and his desire to protect burning ferociously in his eyes. He swung his keyblade out, intentionally missing Larxene, and letting the cold metal tip just touch her neck, trying to instill fear into the emotionless harlot would not be easy, but he had no doubts he could make her back off. " I suggest you take whatever crap you're peddling, and head back home Larxene...I want no more fighting today, however I have no qualms in ending you as you stand. These are my friends, and I wont let you lay a single finger on them".

However it was at that point that Kairi chose once more to leave him. It seemed that her allegiance to the nobody's was ever growing....no it was to Roxas. He looked at her, his deep sea eyes reflecting the pain he was feeling, his lip quivering softly, before he grit his teeth and bared down upon her. " Kairi...I suggest you think hard about whether you want this, Roxas may care for you, but the rest of those nobodys are just... theyre monsters, not one of them would think twice about cutting you down!" he groaned, and held his face within his hand " I didnt want to have to do this again Kairi, just...just go!". He groaned and hugged her tightly, before gently pushing her at Larxene " touch a hair on her head, and I swear to god, I will make you swallow each of your teeth"

Just as one nobody left, another appeared, this one caused Riku to jolt back a little, a slight rush of fear spreading through him. It was Xemnas, or atleast....it looked like him? This on was different, subtly different. He wore a mask, and his voice was almost immature. As he spoke Riku sensed he was somehow even more emotionless than the real Xemnas, was that even possible? " So...Roxas realises that I could make a difference in his little plans doesnt he? He's trying to threaten his way into power. hmppff...ass hole. Well why dont you tell your little master that I'll do him a favor, and I wont slit his throat, and I wont go out of my way to destroy nobodies. However if a nobody crosses my path, or one of you so called "greater" nobodies, tries anything, I will kill them with a smile on my face" He winked at the xemnas copy, before moving back towards Namine. " Namine, I know we've been through alot today, but I cant let Lucy leave mad at me..I just cant. If its ok with you, were gonna go find her, I promise ill keep you safe." He took her hand and started heading off in the direction he saw Lucia and the boy pass through, hoping he could find them in time.

The Wandering Light

((LISTEN TO THIS WHILE YOU READ LUCIA'S PART. TIS PERFECT))

She had no idea where she was going. All she knew, was that her brain kept screaming run. She just had to get out of there, get away before she could cause any more damage. Her emotional level was at an all time high and running out of control. She still couldn't harness the Negative Force she had released because part of her didn't want it back inside her. She was merely a human vessel for it; it ate away at Lucia when she kept it in, and hurt her when she let it out. But at least, if it was safely tucked away within herself, maybe it wouldn't hurt anyone else...

It took her a little while to realize that Lucia wasn't by herself, running through the streets. The stranger who had shown up just before Vanitas had left the battlefield was keeping pace with her beside her. Why he had followed, she had no idea. But she knew that she didn't want him here, not right now. Not while she was like this. Things just went down hill as he spoke to her. He acted like he knew what was going through her head, what she felt. Well, he was about to get a piece of her mind.

"Look, I don't need a pep talk or a lecture, okay?!" She snapped, abruptly stopping. "You have no idea who I am, what's going on. How can you even think that you can try to help in a situation you don't even have the full details about?! You don't know anything... You don't know anything..." What was the point trying to give her such idle, weak words? Words couldn't change anything. Her only visible eye, her only working one, glared at Feng with such anger, such frustration.

"You... you just leave me alone! Leave me alone!" Her feet moved, bringing her to another sprint. This time, she felt like she could take off and fly; the ground pounded beneath her as she ran, her flaming hair flying behind her. This... this feeling... Tears came, spilling from her eyes and dampening her slightly rosy cheeks, but she made no sound. She was afraid she would have to stop running if she let a sob escape. Not now. Lucia just had to get far enough away, be out of reach...

After what seemed like forever, her legs gave out. Her body wouldn't continue. She couldn't even summon to strength to pick herself up off her knees. The physical and emotional strain was taking it's toll. On her hands and knees, she continued to cry, her sobs forcing themselves out from within her. Her body shuddered with each irregular breath, trying to regain the oxygen lost from running and from her cries. She had no idea where she even was, if people were there. She didn't care. Everything was silent, except for her whimpers. And then, a sound escaped her mouth she had never heard before.

It was an unearthly, agonized scream. But it felt good, to let it out. It bounced off the rubble, echoing eerily in the silent street.

She wanted this pain to pass, to go away. She didn't want to hurt anymore; herself, or anybody else. She hated who -no, what she was. Lucia was in shambles, in ruins like this beautiful town. She'd do anything to change... but what options did she really have? How could one just simply be one thing one moment, and another thing the next? It wasn't like she could just pretend her past didn't happen. It haunted her, followed her like her own shadow. It was impossible to shake; her desperation, her sorrow was impossible to shake. She couldn't just ignore those faces that reappeared in her dreams night after night. She didn't want to let go of them. But there was no way to bring them back. Her family, her friends... there were all gone. There was no time machine to bring her back in time and allow her to at least try to be a better person, have a better life. To be someone she liked better, who she wished she could be.

Even if she managed to cope for now, how long could she really live like this until she was consumed? Before her will to die would override her promise to Riku? Would it even matter, if she died? She didn't really know many people living. It wouldn't really matter...

Would it?

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Larxene was back. Not too many fond memories popped up for Nami, to look upon that sadist's face. She had come for Kairi, to apparently bring her to Roxas. But could they trust her? Had she changed at all, since coming back for the rest of them? She still had her ill sense of humor, but she seemed sincere about what she was doing here. Maybe Vanitas was an enemy of the Organization as well as the Disney Realm.

Seeing her sister with that forced smile... she couldn't bear it. She turned to Riku, looking quite determined. He may not approve, but.... it would have to work. As Kairi and Larxene walked away, out of ear shot, the girl stood up on her tip toes and whispered in Riku's ear.

"I... I'm going to go with her. I don't trust the Organization anymore than you do, but at least you'll have a pair of eyes on her, right? I may not be able to wield a sword, but I'm stronger than you think I am. I won't let anything I happen to her. I swear on my existence. Take care, alright?" She prayed he would understand, that he would be okay with her going with Kairi. "That girl... there's something good there. Don't let her fall to the darkness."

The pale girl made her way over to the two. She smiled at Kairi reassuringly. "I'm going to come with you. I know where my place is; I'm going to stay by your side as long as I'm here, okay?"

-EXIT THREAD-

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

"Oooo, baracuda! Jeez, I'm not going to hurt her. One, I'd be totally screwed, two, I'm not that cruel. And I'm sure no one else in the Organization has got any reason. I'll look after her; believe me, it's not easy being the only girl. There are some people that have made it to the "okay" section in my book. She's there. You, however, are not. And for good reason." She grinned meanly at him. "But hey. You've got a reason not to like me either, so we're even. Go tidy up, won't you?"

Back to the main task at hand: Kairi. "No, I meant Vexen. Yes I meant Roxas, smarty." She said sarcastically, poking the girl on her forehead. "And of course, that's why I'm here. And you can tell me what happened here along the way, because it seems like it'll make an entertaining story."

Oh no. Not another piece of Xemnas. This one was immature, but still seemed to be highly attracted to Larxene. The Savage Nymph shuddered, restraining her gag reflex. The old superior had hots for her? ICK. She made a mental note that when -or if, but it seemed like a given that he would come back- the old superior came back, she was going to stay far, FAR away from him as possible. She'd probably have to resort to hanging with Roxas and Axel-

Wait. There was no more Axel anymore. What a dampening reminder.

"Yes, you're welcome to leave. And tell that other piece of yourself that he's going to be a pin cushion the next time I see him." She scowled. Even better: the witch wanted to tag along. Not that she wouldn't be beneficial to have on their side, but still, she'd caused a lot of trouble for Larxene the last time she had been around. "Alright, I guess more estrogen the better." Larxene summoned a Dark Corridor, standing aside to let Kairi go first. After she would go through the portal, she'd say to Namine "No hard feelings for now, right?" Nami would give a curt nod, before disappearing behind her sister.

"Go get her, Tiger." She winked at Riku, a smirk playing on her lips as she followed to two girls through the portal to the Land of Dragons. To Roxas.

Holding up his hands in surrender, Feng laughed nervously. "Woah, woah. I'm not trying to make it seem like I know you. I'm not trying to give you a lecture or a pep talk. Besides, everyone needs a friend. If you don't want me here, I'm just going to tell you that it's too bad, 'cause you can't get rid of me that easily." He followed her as she raced across the town. He knew she was crying. His heart started to hurt. This girl, without even trying, had won him over completely. He knew what it was like, to walk through the darkness alone. To wish that someone could come alone and pull him out, tell him that everything would be okay... that it was okay to cry.

"It's all going to be okay... things will get better. You can cry if you want to. No one is going to blame you. Just let it all out."

He bit his lip as he ran towards her fallen form. She'd sunk to her knees in what seemed like dispair. He winced and felt himself running faster as she let out a scream. He slowed down as he got closer to her, his eyes unreadable with misty emotion. He frowned as he knelt next to her. "It's all going to be okay.... things will get better. You can cry if you want to. No one is going to blame you. Just let it all out," he said softly, echoing the words that had saved him so many years ago. He didn't know if this girl was in the same boat as him, he didn't know the first thing about her. But Feng knew that whenever anyone was hurting like this, he couldn't just turn and leave them alone. In fact, he shouldn't. He reached out for her shoulder, but then thought better of it. The teenage boy's hand fell to his side as he sat next to the red-haired girl, watching her sob.

"I know I don't know you. I know that I don't know anything about you or your life. But I know that leaving someone alone when they're suffering goes against everything I know." Feng offered her a weak smile. "Look... I think I might've been in the same boat at some point in my life. You can't hate yourself. Hating yourself is only serving to pull you deeper into the darkness. Letting it all out is the best thing you can do for yourself if you can't find it in you to forgive whatever you've done. I know, you've probably heard all this stupid, corny advice before... but the corny stuff works the best." He grinned. "Don't jump off the ledge just 'cause of this tiny little incident. You didn't do anything wrong. I know if I were in your position, I might've done more than just slapped him." He attempted to joke with her, just to get that girl to smile.

A smile was the greatest comfort that anyone could have, to assure them that they weren't lying, to assure them that they were alright. He'd received smiles, and, as stupid as it sounds, they made him feel like he could do anything. And when he smiled at his sister, she would always smile right back, telling him that he was more adorable when he smiled. Of course, he reveled in that comment, despite being a boy. He was a little kid back then. Plus to him, any compliment was worth whatever he'd had to do to earn it. With those thoughts, Feng turned back to the girl, a small, weak smile on his pale face. "I know we just met, but I've got a favor to ask. Smile? All girls look prettier when they smile."

The Xemnas Fragment watched the various happenings with a fair amount of boredom, the one he was mainly paying attention to was Larxene, making sure that she got Kairi out of there alright, and Riku, who he had to make sure understood Roxas' message. Riku took the message about as well as expected, showing utter disrespect and making his own threats. A chuckle came from the fragment as he leaned down to whisper to Riku.

"Riku, Riku, Riku. So arrogant now with your big boy pants. But Sora's not here. A threat, you? Only in your dreams child. Roxas simply doesn't want to have to strike you dead. That would put him on Kairi's bad side, wouldn't it? But trust me, you are no threat. And another thing, child. Roxas is not my Master. Xemnas is. And Xemnas shall return, very soon. He is the True Superior. Roxas is just keeping the seat warm."

The Fragment then stood back and grinned at Riku, chuckling as he quickly faded out, taking his own leave.
