Disney Castle Town was a quiet, peaceful and serene town. In short, it was perfect if someone loved peace and did not want any action in their lives of any sort that could be done by them. For David, it was growing to be a stale place to stay for a few days. Considering this, he had packed his supplies out of the hotel he had been staying at, as meager as the supplies were. The only supplies he had were the sword with him, and a telekinetic energy fueled machine gun he kept on him as well currently and the clothes on his back. One day he would have more than this however, and that day would be soon for he wanted to look different than he did when he had been liberated from that science facility. David had often considered his life, but would not change much actually except for the fact of his weapons not being the ones he wanted to actually fight with. They were just too...hard to use in combat.

"Soon I'll leave this place, and start my real journey."

A roaring sound would come from high above as a Gummi Ship came flying out of the sky at high speed. It was aimed straight at the ground and seemed like it was about to crash when it would suddenly flip around, as if to jet into the sky, but all it did was slow down until it touched the ground, turning and landing with a thud on quickly extended landing gears. It was a rough-shod type of landing done by people like stuntmen trying to show off.

[inside the ship]

"Hah...hah...hah..." Wei An panted heavily, sweat running down her face as she gripped her steering rods tightly. She was trembling from the fear of what she'd just done. Somehow she'd messed up the controls again and the ship had been put into the 2-speed setting, "Stop" and "Go". Her only hope of landing had been to pull a stupid maneuver and try to slow herself down enough at just the right moment so that she could turn the ship off and land. Somehow, and she could still barely believe it, she'd pulled it off and survived her landing. "At least I think I'm still alive."

Wei An muttered to herself as she placed her hand on her chest, checking her racing Heart. Yeah, with it thudding that hard and fast, she was definitely alive. Taking several deep, calming breaths, her Heart would finally slow down. Popping the cockpit, she'd stumble out of her ship and lean against it continuing to calm herself down as she looked around at her surroundings, trying to get her bearings. She was at the edge of a...colorful...town. Many of the locals were looking at her with a mixture of concern and irritation. Wei An understood perfectly, if she'd messed up, she could have very well crashed into someone's house.

David would hear the sound of someone who clearly did not have control of their Gummi Ship piloting it. Slowly he would walk to where he had heard the descent of the ship. Seeing someone in clothes similar to that of a Gi, but green and baggy made David a bit on edge around the person even though he had the decency not to show it. The person was clearly new to this world, but might be his ticket off planet. For he did need to leave this world anyway so as to unlock his full potential off of here. “My name is David Kogane. And your name would be?" David did not have visible weapons on his person but would call them forth as he needed them.

Wei An was still trying to calm herself down, glaring at her own ship, the Devil's Promise. A fitting name, since she was now fairly certain that in addition to being a Heartless, the man who'd sort of given the ship to her was also a Devil, or at least friends with one. The ship was high quality, no doubt, but in the hands of a novice like Wei An, it felt like the ship was trying to kill her. She noticed someone approaching her however, and quickly tried to compose herself, turning slightly towards him with her muscles slightly tensed, ready to act at a moment's notice. Though this town appeared peaceful, she did not know these people and they might not be friendly with her (especially after her near-crash). When the man spoke, he spoke simply, introducing himself and asking for Wei An's name. She got the feeling he was a simple, straight-forward type of person, which meant that he'd likely be easy to deal with.

"Wei An. Sorry about nearly crashing into your town."

Wei An's eyes looked over the townspeople again and this time something clicked that she hadn't noticed before.

Is that...a dog person? She mentally asked, seeing one of the citizens of Disney and then noticing that most of the population was anthropomorphic animals. Her jaw dropped slightly at the sight before she recovered and the slight look of shock on her face disappeared. She briefly wondered if this was an odd section of the Spirit World but quickly dismissed that idea. Having seen the Spirit World once, she knew that this place, the town itself at least, was too normal to be the Spirit World.

David took a moment and examined the ship Wei-An had. It was a fine ship for something like that, though she likely lacked the skills at piloting said ship. While he did possess them, he did not often like to flaunt them. However, he could not help but think this would avoid trouble or irritating King Mickey if he were to deal with the problem of this ship crashing again. "Hmm, it seems you are not very skilled at flying your ship. Would you like me to give you lessons perhaps so you could get better at it? Your ship seems to be of better quality than mine. Also you seem to carry a staff. Any reason for that?" David would rarely make an offer like this, but the person did seem like they needed help. A ship smashing into the city was not his idea of a good time.

Wei An would pause for a moment, her cheeks slightly red from the insult of her piloting skills, considering whether or not to accept this person's offer of lessons. He stated that her ship was better than his, so she immediately felt worried he might try to steal it. Worse for the matter, her ship was a single pilot ship, and Wei An could tell the controls were custom designed for the previous owner, so she wasn't sure how well David's skills would translate. Before she had to consider the matter too much though, he asked another question, about her staff.

Wei An paused for a moment before reaching over her shoulder to her staff to pull it out of the clip on her back that held it in place. Holding it she'd explain, "It's just my weapon. A friend made it for me and I find that this staff helps me best with my Bending over any other type of weapon."

She would pause for a moment again, recalling how Bending was not a universal skill, that it only applied to her home World and that other worlds had different abilities.

"Bending is manipulating the Elements by the way, Earth, Fire, Air, Water." She said quickly, to avoid confusion over the word "Bending". After a moment of thought she'd finally answer David's first offer. "And thanks, but I'll pass on the lessons, the ship comes with a program that's teaching me to fly it. Besides, it's a custom racer model (apparently) so the controls are apparently not the standard kind."

David thought about it, and took a moment. This bending seemed like it was powerful and might just be as strong as the Key-Blade if not more so than the Key-Blade. While he had been created to obtain the Key-Blade, David was losing interest in that form of weapon. It just did not seem like a good choice for him of weapon. It seemed heavy, impractical and imbalanced. As Wei-An talked about her staff being given her by a friend, David would nod and think of something and that was that everyone did need a friend.

"So your staff seems finely made. But is it as finely made as this?" David would summon his sword to his hand, and show it to Wei-An. His sword was kept within a pocket dimension until he needed it so that he did not have to lug the weight of the blade around. "Would you consider this to be a form of bending?" David put his hand to his head and lifted with TK a nearby pebble up to her eye level, but the strain on him was obvious on his face.

"Or not?"

Wei An nodded when David complimented the fine make of the weapon. It was a decent, durable weapon, much stronger than a normal Bo Staff because of its inlaid filaments of iron. The guy however summoned a sword of his own, seeming to want to show it off. Wei An merely raised an eyebrow at him, her face obviously saying that she wouldn't be impressed with any sword he summoned just to show it off. Pushing his sword aside she'd say with the smallest hint of sarcasm, "A weird looking Katana...how nice for you."

The boy then seemed to levitate a pebble (with obvious difficulty) and asked if it was a form of Bending. Wei An was curious about David's ability, but quickly recognized that it was no form of Bending. "No, Bending uses one's Spirit to Bend the Element to your will, and as such you can only Bend things that are similar to your Spirit, which is why we Bend Elements. What you're doing is clearly powered by your Mind, and if I'm right, you can apply that to anything, regardless of Elements. No, this is Bending."

Wei An then stepped a small distance away from David, turning to look at him with stern eyes. Taking a deep breath, she'd slowly raise a foot into the air before slamming it down in a stomp, dropping into a deep stance as she did, punching to her side. Where her fist was pointed, a tower of earth fifteen feet tall sprouted out of the earth. Still having her eyes staring at David, she continued speaking. "I am an Earthbender, my Spirit is at one with my Element. I can move boulders with little effort thanks to this, while you struggle to lift a pebble with your Mind."

She was quiet then as she shoved the tower of earth back into the ground with a swift hand motion, leaving the ground barely disheveled from her display. She stared sternly at David wondering what he would say next after her display.

((The Keyblade is a Weapon and Bending is an Ability, they're in two different categories so you can't compare them like you did in your post. The key (lol) point of Keyblades is their ability to unlock stuff, take away that critical World-changing power, and they're little more than magic-enhancing swords. So it's not about how strong a Keyblade is, it's its uses. Also, Wei An merely described Bending as "Manipulating the Elements", she did not describe the extent of this type of ability, so assuming that it is as powerful as a anything is a silly assumption when you haven't even seen it yet. You need to always be aware of how little your character knows compared to YOU the RPer, otherwise, you're meta-gaming))

"Wow, that display you did was truly impressive."

David was indeed impressed, something that rarely happened. The reasons he were impressed however were that she had shown him up and completely proven he was ill-equipped. His abilities compared to that of this Wei An were second rate at best, fifth rate at worst. Really it was a shame he was not stronger with what he did know how to do. So it seemed to him he would have to train a lot more to even come close to the level of ability that she had shown. Obviously he had a lot of work to do in that department, and could not do it here.

"Well now I must bid you adieu. Nice meeting you Wei-An. We might meet again some time."

With that said, David would teleport away.

Wei An frowned as David said goodbye and disappeared right in front of her. Her eyes widened at his ability but then quickly narrowed. She got the feeling that she had been showing off and probably upset him with her blatant display of power. Scratching the back of her head, she'd shrug and brush it off, turning to walk into town and find some shops. Soon enough, she'd find the stores and quickly stock up on supplies, getting some portable meals to store in her ship when traveling. Once resupplied, Wei An would do a quick tour around the town, learning about the World from the locals and learning a little more about the Universe. She learned that this World was the Capital of the Disney Kingdom, ruling over most of the Worlds. And that the King was benevolent pleased Wei An, glad that there was no troubles in this town to distract her.

Before the day was over Wei An hopped back on her Gummi Ship, reset the controls so that it wasn't stuck on the STOP OR GO setting and took off, much more gently than she arrived, taking off towards a World that had been suggested to her by a local, Traverse Town.
