"Unlike you, I don't have things like Doll or spells that aren't obvious," he told her, knowing he was feeling low of magic. This meant he could only cast one more spell: two if they were illusion type. Either way, the rest of what he had left was attacking with his Kagenui. "Sorry that I can't cast Quake."

With a new illusion on the enemy's belt in place, Douken saw it as a high level Blink on all of their allies. being told to hold off the blob, he nodded, his blades beginning to glow. "This is the last of my magic," he announced, "so let's make this one count. Now, slash!" With a swing of both knives, blades of air were launched into the blurry mass by the Blast spell. Now mama-deprived, he used his blades to hold back the horde until the shield was thrown up. Having to step back from the action, he had to sit to rest. "For someone unable to use magic, you got a lot of powerful techniques. If I had some Shuriken, then things could be different..."

((What Apate cast was an extended and powered up Blur spell, not a Blink spell.))

Lucerna shrugged at Douken's complaints about not having subtle abilities or something like Doll. She was also resting from her use of powerful techniques. As she leaned against her shield, ringed hand pressed against the shield she was maintaining, Lucerna listened to Douken's compliment and complaint about lacking a certain weapon.

"I'm an Indigo Shadowmaster and Brightblinder. Of the seven Orders in the Castle of Light, I am the most powerful user of Sunstones in the Indigo Order and a trusted servant of the Emperor. Since I was very little I've aspired to be powerful, so this is just a minor display of strength."

Though Lucerna was smiling and making a cocky statement, it was obvious she was at least somewhat bluffing from how exhausted she seemed.

"But, what's a Shuriken? I've never heard of that before."

Meanwhile the Indigo waves raged back and forth still, running over several Satyrs while the Harpies kept flying, trying to get Doll off of the Harpy she was torturing, and Apate and Dolos were still screaming orders and trying to salvage the situation.

"A type of throwing weapon," he answered her on the Shuriken part. "A typical ninja equipment also known as ninja stars or throwing stars. It is a ninja's main ranged weapon, as kunai can act more for close." Still, not exactly the time to talk about weapons, let alone taking the breather to draw out what it looks like.

Watching the black waves, he had to ask, "So, how long will these waves last? and what about what remains? Those bird brains don't seem to be that effective. After that, even if we kill them all, our tired bodies will have to take on two demi-gods. Really, we were insane thinking we can do this on our own." To him, it would take five people to barely live out the situation. How the hell do we get out of this mess. Maybe if Doll ate them all again...

Lucerna listened to Douken's description of a ninja star and then with her free hand, reached to her amulet and touched it. Drawing Blue Light out of it, she crafted a small five-pointed Blue Shuriken. Having basically taken a guess based on his use of the word star, it literally looked like a solid star one might draw, lacking the aerodynamic hole common in ninja stars. After Douken would correct her on any little design flaws he wanted, Lucerna would quickly weave about two dozen Blue Shurikens into existence and give them to him. "Blue Weapons not continually supported by a Sunstone have a lifespan of about five minutes at most, make good use of them."

When Douken asked how long the waves would last, Lucerna would grin and look over her shoulder, taking her hand of the shield and letting it slowly dissipate as the purple waves themselves began to fade. The Satyrs and Harpies, startled by the sudden end of the attack and defense, would stop where each of them were for a moment to get their bearings. At that moment Doll would suddenly force the Harpy she had been torturing to dive-bomb at Apate and Dolos, freaking them out as Lucerna aimed and shined a concentrated ray of Light to strengthen Doll from across the cavern. Doll would jump off the Harpy at the last second, making the creature tackle down Dolos as Doll latched onto Apate's face, causing her to screech in fear and surprise, especially when she tried to pull Doll off and was unable to grip her shadowy flesh.

Briefly touching her amulet, Wings of Light would sprout, floating behind Lucerna and lifting her off the ground, letting her fly across the cavern at amazing speeds, completely ignoring the Harpies and Satyrs along the way, leaving them to Douken. When Lucerna reached the Gods, Dolos had just untangled himself from the traumatized Harpy and was turning to help his counterpart when he spotted Lucerna ten feet away coming at high speed. He barely had time to utter a single curse when Lucerna's ring shot an Orange Blast of Force into his face, sending him flying and skidding along the ground until he crashed into the far wall, leaving a man sized dent.

Turning to Apate, Lucerna would quickly weave a prismatic rope from her ring, using Doll to restrain the Goddess while Lucerna tied her up swiftly, binding her movements completely. Once the first God was taken care of, Lucerna would grab Doll and chuck the Spiritshadow at the other God just then stumbling out of the dent, getting him a face full of shadowy trauma. Doll would then restrain Dolos by her self, obviously enjoying her job of torturing a so called God while Lucerna turned to see how Douken was doing with the remaining couple dozen monsters.

Now she had created shuriken and grew wings. Yeah, her powers were wildly crazy. Another reason to not get on her bad side. Well, either way he gave her a weapon that he could use, and planned on it.

Now, normally, he would take everything from his holding pouch to use this skill, but that wasn't on hand at the moment, so he laid them around him, encircling him on the floor as he warned "Don't get in the way," before going ahead with some cokmmon ninja hand signs: Boar, ox, dragon, snake, tiger, ox, ram, monkey. "Ninja Art: Shuriken rush!!!" His body began to pulse out energy as he began to spin. This caused the air to create life on the shuriken before they span with him, hovering in he air. With flicks of his wrist, the created ninja throwing weapons began to shoot forth, launching themselves at the enemies up front until the two dozen were used up, each one stabbing into whatever they hit and staying in deeply until the blue weapons timed out. Hopefully, Lucerna was able to stay out of the shuriken's way.

Spinning his kunai in his hand so both here held in a backhand stance, he dashed forward, slicing anyone who stood in his way before he quickly made his way to the stage area, placing both edges of the blades at Dolos' neck.

Lucerna was fairly impressed by Douken's ability to make the shurikens she created fly on their own, piercing and taking down several monsters easily. After Douken was quick to move over to Dolos, holding his kunai to the God's neck threateningly. Too bad he was immortal though, the knife threat wasn't very...threatening.

"Get this demon off of me!" Dolos yelled, struggling to get free of Doll, generally ignoring Douken's knife. Doll didn't like being called a demon though, and tightened her hold on the God, using one of her tendrils to cover his mouth and keep him quiet. Walking over to him, Lucerna used her ring to project a Hand of Light to grab one of the Satyr's hooked axes from the ground behind her, which she then held up to Dolos' neck. That immediately caused him to cease moving and his eyes widened in terror.

"As I recall you saying, these weapons are 'enchanted and poisoned' to kill Gods, correct? If these weapons are meant to kill someone like Zeus, I wonder what would happen to a pathetic little shit like you?"

Dolos' eyes narrowed at Lucerna's words, but he didn't struggle or look away from the weapon beneath his chin.

"Alright now Dolos, time to hear your monologue about why you're doing this." Lucerna joked, having Doll uncover Dolos' mouth.

"Oh you know, rough childhood, no respect, crappy Godly designation, just wanted to move up in the pantheon." Dolos said sarcastically, venom dripping from his words.

"As expected, did you really think your plan would succeed? I mean, me and my friend here just wiped out your army and...we're not even demi-gods. We're mortals with excellent party tricks. I don't imagine Zeus would have to do much more than fart at your 'army' to wipe them out."

"It wasn't about success, it was about drawing Zeus' attention, letting him know that not all the Gods are happy with his set-up."

"I thought Hades made that abundantly clear all on his own?" Lucerna asked, quite honestly confused about this little detail.

Dolos shrugged at this, like it couldn't be helped. "Well...no one likes Hades and he's always been trying to take Olympus from his brother, so his opinion about the pantheon doesn't count."

"Ah, that's true. What about you Apate?" Lucerna said, using her Sunstone ring to pull Apate in her prismatic bonds over next to Dolos. Lucerna only uncovered her mouth for a moment though, as the first words out of her mouth was a string of curses.

"Alas my sister is significantly more spiteful than I am. She earnestly hoped for our army to kill Zeus." Dolos said with a chuckle, grinning at his struggling and still very angry counterpart. "Hermes is probably going to arrive soon to herald Zeus' punishment. We tried to conceal this temple from the eyes of the Oracles, but by now we've lost our protection and the Gods should have learned of us."

"Hey babes." Called a voice near the cavern entrance. Lucerna turned to see a small blue skinned guy with winged shoes twirling a staff and grinning at the scene before him. "Well ain't this place just a wonderful mess." He asked sarcastically, strutting through the air and poking at the corpses with his staff as he passed. He soon stood next to Dolos and was grinning at Apate. "She still a mean B****?" He asked, nudging Dolos with his elbow, who grinned and nodded while Apate fumed. "Kay, Zeus is gonna be here in a minute. He just had to stop by Hephaestus' crib to patch up his thunderbolt."

Hermes was now leaning on his staff in mid-air, looking at the Sundial on his wrist, waiting for the thunderclap of Zeus' arrival. After a moment he'd glance over at Lucerna and Douken.

"Good job kiddies. Looks like you had a real good party here."

With the enchanted weapon at the demi-god's throat, Douken stepped back and placed his weapons away, letting the sunstone user to do the questioning as Doll enjoyed herself. "I still don't get why making so much commotion is such an important thing." He figured he would get a speech of "not being in his shoes" from that comment.

And as for amazing cue-ins, Hermes made a perfect timing entrance right at the mention of his name it seemed like. It was almost like getting struck by an ogre right after saying, "Looks like there are no ogres in sight." And when the messenger sent a comment their way, Douken shrugged it off, despite feeling like nearly collapsing.

"It was just a group of overgrown goblins and birdbrains. You saying that would be a challenge?" Saying that beat up didn't really throw on a Cool factor there. Turning to Lucerna, he asked her, "Zeus is the the god who runs everything, right?" he just wanted to make sure.

Dolos smiled grimly at Douken for his comment of not understanding, his eyes black as coal and staring like he was dead inside.

"You don't understand? How could you not understand? Aren't there stories where you're from? It's a classic archetype, when someone isn't given any respect, they fight to be heard, be noticed. Haven't you ever been in a situation where, no matter how much you complained, no one would listen? didn't you have to force them to hear you? If you've never been in such a situation, then I envy you. It's one of life's great yet tiny tragedies to not be heard."

After Dolos spoke, Hermes would then address Douken's bravado. "Babe, for the Heroes of this World, Satyrs and Harpies are the dime a dozen mooks that the newbies start with. Of course, the Heroes of our World tend to be descended from the Gods and have various gifts of strength, speed, magic, and endurance. The Abilities that you two possess are of a decidedly different vein than ours, but despite not being Demi-Gods, you' do possess the potential to be in the same league as them. So despite these goat-men and bird-babes being low class, you should feel proud of yourselves."

After Hermes answered Douken's question, he asked Lucerna a question about Zeus, to which she smiled and nodded as she said, "Yeah, I told you before that Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon were the top three Gods with Zeus being the King. He reins over the Sky and controls the weather. His weapon is a thunderbolt, as Hermes said, which was forged by Hephaestus, the blacksmith of the Gods."

At that moment a thunderclap would be heard echoing through the cavern as a flash of light marked the sudden appearance of Zeus, looking like he was in a rush. He quickly would glance around at the corpses of the monsters and at the collection of people on the stage in the back. Quickly striding over he looked at Hermes and simply said, "Report."

"Alright babe, Dolos and Apate here are pissed because they're not getting any respect and because of how the Gods lower on the pantheon's ladder don't get a crib on Olympus. Apate here is being an honest B**** about it, but Dolos is much more cool. He just wants to attention from the big daddy. Apate and Dolos collected this group of Demis and armed them with weapons enchanted and poisoned so that they could kill even Gods."

The whole time Hermes spoke, he sounded like he was just talking about the most recent gossip. However, now his flamboyant attitude dropped for a moment in favor of a more serious one.

"In regards to punishment, I think Apate should be sent to Tartarus for a couple years, but Dolos should only get one year. Also, at the next meeting we need to address the dissatisfaction that certain Gods have."

Zeus would nod for a moment as he looked at the offending Gods, Apate glaring furiously and Dolos looking sullen. With a snap of his fingers, a plume of smoke would appear and Hades would step out.

"Oh look, my brother. Is this a social call or..." Hades looks over at Dolos and stares at Apate for a moment, "Business?"

"Business Hades. Apate and Dolos are to be taken to Tartarus. Five years for Apate, one for Dolos."

"Woah, Tartarus? Isn't that kinda harsh? What did they..." Suddenly Hades catches sight of the monster corpses and see the weapon Lucerna's holding. Taking a sniff he smells a poison he's familiar with. "...De-Immortal?"

"Yes, they were planning on using an army armed with poison weapons to attack Olympus."

Frowning, Hades would nod, seeming to actually respect Zeus' opinion about this punishment. Despite his own previous attempt to use such a poison, he'd never considered doing something like this. Total slaughter of the Gods was a bit much, even for Hades, after all, they were his siblings and family. He'd rather put them in chains and lock them away harmlessly. Quickly Hades would move over to the Gods and consume them in smoke, taking them to the Underworld. With a brief, curt nod to Zeus, Hades would then take his own leave.

"Not counting the times he fakes it, I believe that's the most civil he's ever been with you." Hermes commented to Zeus, looking very surprised.

"Yes, even for Hades, blatantly handing out De-Immortal poison to so many Demi-God monsters is incredibly stupid and worthy of punishment. This is one thing at least, we can agree on." Turning, Zeus would become enveloped with Lightning as he left, saying, "I have business in Athens next, take care of their rewards, Hermes."

Hermes would salute the departing God before turning to the heroes, asking, "Alright kiddies, any rewards you might want?"

Considering what he read about Zeus and Hades, seeing them cooperate with each other was a rare sight indeed. However, Zeus quickly took off, letting Hermes take care of the rewards. But what would he want? Not like they could provide an endless supply of Shuriken and asking to be a Demi-God himself even seemed to of been out of bounds. he also had to prevent greed from taking over. Still, maybe there wasone thing he did desire.

"My home is littered with monsters," he began, figuring to give some background as to the request. "These monsters came because of the Four Fiends who have taken over. An undead took the Earth, a lamia stole the flame, a kraken has stolen the sea, and a dragon with many heads seized our skies. Our legends say that only the Warriors of Light possess the power to fall their Fiends, but I cannot let legend hold us back." Clenching his fist tightly, he asked, "Please, I wish for a power to defeat these fiends who have taken everything away from us. Even falling one will give hope to the people of my home! I've spent my life gathering information on these monsters, and I want to put it to use, so we will never have to be in fear again! Whether I am one of the Warriors of Light or not, I want to see these fiends fall!"

Hermes laughed nervously at Douken's request. Obviously, he couldn't get a reward like that.

"Sorry kid, it doesn't work like that. There are rules in this Universe, many of which are ignored. One rule we Gods can't ignore is the one forbidding us from meddling the in affairs of other Worlds. And more, we Greek Gods are forbidden from simply granting knowledge and power to mortals, especially after the incident with Prometheus." Hermes chuckled nervously like he was remembering something horrible. "You kids have definitely helped out, but not enough to warrant being given such power so blatantly."

Hermes went quiet then, waiting for Douken and Lucerna to decide what to ask for next. Lucerna would quickly speak up then, having settled on something she needed to ask. "I left my World through unconventional means. I don't have an obvious way to get back so...my request is for advice on where I should go, and what I should do."

Hermes nodded at this. This was much more doable. "Easy enough there babe. Your reward will be a free pass to ask the local Oracle any three questions." With a twirl of his wrist, Hermes conjured a small stone with some engravings on it. He handed it to Lucerna before turning back to Douken.

Lucerna took the stone and stood there thoughtfully for a moment, looking at Douken and trying to think of a good suggestion for him. Perking up, she would get an idea. Gently placing a hand on Douken's shoulder she would speak to him.

"Douken, for your request...why don't you ask for Ayame to be allowed to rest in Elysium. It's the garden in the Underworld where the heroes and saints rest. It's a paradise."

Lucerna lowered her head after suggesting her idea. She had just selfishly made a wish for her own desires, yet was asking Douken to make a more selfless wish.

With a hesitant look on his face, Hermes would mumble, "Elysium...it's a possibility. It's not one of the prizes forbidden to mortals, though normally it's something you ask for yourself, for after you die later in life."

Douken blinked at the offer, thinking about it before slapping himself in the back of his head. Stupid. How could you forget about her? Well, maybe because he never bothered to research the "homes of hell." To him, anyone who saves lives could be a hero, and even if Hermes says its an odd request, it was still within his reach.

"The kunoichi did save my life. I have chosen to find a proper burial for her. This may not be her home, but if Elysium is a place for heroes, then that would be the best option." Looking back to Hermes, he told him, "We do have her body. Just tell me what I need to do to send Ayame in peace."

Lucerna smiled warmly when Douken remembered Ayame. It was a bit sad that he forgot, but Lucerna recalled that he only knew her for a little while. Still, she was glad that he liked her idea. Hermes also seemed happy that a choice for a reward was settled on.

"Alright then little man, so the name is Ayame?" He asked, gently touching Douken's head with his staff to glean the necessary information from his Mind. "Okay, I got her memorized. I'll go to Hades in a bit and tell him to transfer Ayame's Soul to Elysium. As for her Body, that is simply a corpse, but if you like, I'll drop her off in a nearby Mausoleum for Heroes as well."

As Hermes explained, Lucerna reached into her sleeve and pulled out the small remote control device for her ship, pressing a button and having Ayame transported to where they were. Pressing another button, the green circle she appeared on vanished, since they weren't leaving the World yet. With a motion of her Sunstone amulet, the Light cocoon vanish, revealing the preserved Ayame. Hermes would wave his staff and she'd be enveloped in what appeared to be beams of sunlight, which Hermes was known for running on. Where the sunlight was actually coming from, considering they were in a cave, was a bit of a mystery. With a wave goodbye, Hermes would dash away, quick as the wind with Ayame's body in tow.

Turning to Douken, Lucerna would ask, "Ready to go see an Oracle?"

Calling the body a corpse, though be true, felt like a bit of an insult. He should of given it a little more respect than that. Still, he stood and watched the little man run off with the body in his possession off out of the area. With a sigh, his body collapsed, letting his fatigue finally take hold. "How about a quick breather?" he asked. "Unlike you, who fought like a Combat Mage, I was up front taking blows and stabbing those monsters up front. I'm tired." Pulling out the kunai pair, he wiped the blood off of the weapons before dragging the edges against each other, sharping the blades with each other.

After the moment for recovery, the researcher soon got back to his feet, placing the weapons away before heading out with the sunstone user. Once on the surface, Douken covered his eyes, blocking the sudden rush of sunlight. But with eyes adjusting, he asked, "So where's this Oracle?"

After Hermes left, Douken finally let the exhaustion take over and collapsed to the ground. Lucerna was quick to sit beside him, also really tired herself. Holding up her ring, she'd make a gentle orange glow come out of it, it's warming light helping alleviate their fatigue. She was a bit ticked at his comment however. "Don't think I had things easy Douken. Using Sunstones requires incredible mental focus to shape Light itself into hard constructs. The things I did today show why I'm the Brightblinder for the Indigo Order, the most powerful Sunstone wielder of my Order."

A cocky smile would cross her lips as she relaxed.

"In fact, there are only two people in the whole Castle who are stronger than me, the Violet Brightblinder, and the Emperor himself."

After a few moments of rest and recovery, she and Douken would get up and head out, making their way up the stairs and out the temple. Doll would immediately shade Lucerna's eyes from the sun when they got outside as they looked around. After a moment, Lucerna would head off through to woods back towards the city.

"I'm not entirely sure where the Oracle is either. I guess we just ask around." Lucerna responded to Douken's query. As soon as they were in the city, Lucerna would ask one of the gate guards where the Oracle was. The guard was quick to point the way, as it was apparently common for travelers to visit the Oracle.

Lucerna would make her way to the moderate sized temple where the Oracle was. Walking to the front door, she was stopped by a guard who said that the Oracle only took appointments. Flashing the stone from Hermes, the guard quick apologized and let them in. Soon enough they were standing before the Oracle, a woman on a bed hidden by silky curtains. Lucerna and Douken could not see her, only her silhouette. Her voice sounded tired and weary, yet proud, like she did something extremely hard every day with joy.

"I know why you are here, Lucerna, and what you did to earn this privilege. I live to serve the Gods. You may ask your three questions."

Lucerna would nod and bow respectfully. After taking a moment to make sure she worded her question clearly she asked, "What is the best path for me to follow so that I return to my Home World as quickly as I can."

The Oracle nodded, apparently having expected this question.

"Your World lies at the end of a long journey. It is impossible for you to return if you simply focus on trying to get back. If you wish to go home, you must involve yourself in the War spread across the Worlds. You must help one of the sides win the War. No matter who wins, if you help the winning side, they will reward you by taking you home."

Lucerna slumped for a moment at hearing this. She had already figured that an option for going home was to have one of the leaders help her. According to Nexus, Xemnas was likely capable of getting her home easily, though getting him to agree sounded hard. Helping the Heartless was not an option as far as she knew, so she figured her best bet was with Disney, helping out the King if she could. With that settled, she still had two more questions she was allowed to ask. Thinking for a moment she would speak again.

"To pursue that goal, I think I will help the Disney Kingdom. Where should I go next to help bring me closer to home?"

"You must go to the land of sand and magic, of mystery and enchantment. A land where nothing is as it seems. A battle is being waged there, and your help may turn the tides."

Lucerna would nod again. She had expected cryptic answers at some point. The Oracle could see the answers, but Lucerna understood that she couldn't always speak clearly because she was limited by her knowledge of her World. The first answer was able to be given fairly clearly because she didn't need to name anything, Lucerna knew the factions she was talking about. For the second question, the Oracle spoke in a vague way, describing what she could and hoping Lucerna could figure out the details. And to a point, Lucerna thought she could. She vaguely recalled one of the Worlds in her database matching the description. After they left, Lucerna would check. But for now, she had nothing to ask, so she turned to Douken and said, "You can have the last question if you want Douken, since you gave your reward to Ayame."

The shadow of the Oracle would turn, as if to look at Douken expectantly.

It was sudden and odd to be given the last question, but it was true on what he did. He may as well gain some information n what he wanted, but what? What could be so important to ask? He was able to find his way back thanks to the gummi, where they knew he was on the map. But what would he want to know now?

Thinking, a strange memory popped into his head. it was a conversation he had with his master after a monster attack, but why come up now? It was like it wanted him to ask about it. "My master held a certain gem in his possession that he cherished. I never got it then as it had no fine cut nor did it have any shine. actually, it was quite dull. Still, he was upset when it was stolen during a monster attack. Said it was a new breed of monster he had never seen: One dressed in white with a zipper covering its mouth. it ran off into a black gate and was never seen again. By any chance you know where that gem resides?" It may be a long shot, but what if Master's gem was one of the Crystals of Light?
