I've just caught myself up on the new season of Doctor Who and I know there are some Doctor Who fans on here, so I figured why not make a discussion thread about it?
What are your thoughts/speculations about what'll happen it the new season??
It would probably be wise to put the replies under the spoiler tag so we don't ruin anything for people who haven't seen it though.

OMG we needed this!!! I love the new season!
Spoiler: click to toggle My thoughts on the identity of the little girl is that she is Amy's daughter. But Amy is stuck in some sort of temporal rift where she is with the Doctor and Rory but also elsewhere another part of the universe or another universe entirely perhaps? The elsewhere is a facility which would explain silver eye patch lady, Amy on occasion experiences periods where she has some small insight into the other her, the pregnant her. This would definitely explain that seemingly paradox pregnancy of hers I think I have a few more thoughts but I can't remember them right now

I love it too! It's great so far
Spoiler: click to toggle I was thinking that too. When the little girl confronted her in the space suit, I thought she was gonna call Amy "Mommy" or something and then it would cut to commercial, leaving us to be like "whatttttt!?!?!!?!"
Hmm, that's a really interesting idea. It would make sense, if one of her is pregnant while the other isn't and it's confusing the sensors on the TARDIS. It can't decide which Amy its supposed to be scanning so it keeps going back and forth.
But with the little girl - she's a Time Lord, isn't she? I mean, she regenerated before she was about to die. So, is it supposed to just make us think she's Amy's kid and then confuse us, or is she Amy's kid, but the "other her" we were discussing got with the Doctor, thus producing a human-TimeLord hybrid that now somehow crossed into our universe?
And what of River Song? In tonight's episode, are we supposed to meet her for "the first time", so to speak? I feel bad for her since they keep meeting in the wrong order, but when the Doctor finds a way to bring her back to life from the library in season 4, what do you think will happen?
So many questionsss! Haha

Spoiler: click to toggle I think the Doctor missed an opportune moment to ask "Sexy" whats the dealio with that!
I'm not sure. I don't think they would just create another Time Lord as such although look at Jenny. However I think Time travel (presuming she is Amy's little girl) and the Silents interference has definitely caused her to become something with Time Lord capabilities such as regeneration. Perhaps that's what they were working on in the facility?
Although I'm not sure what you mean about River Song because she not due back until episode 7 the final one before the break. Although season 4 she did die she can live in the computers virtual world, she can't be brought back out because she died, but they managed to save her consciousness. There is now way she can be brought back :/

Spoiler: click to toggle I keep forgetting about Jenny lol. She was only there for one episode in season 3, right? I hope she comes back, I think that would be interesting. Just a random thought; what if the little girl IS Jenny? It would explain her existence and her Time Lord abilities. What if she died and regenerated into a little girl? Would that even be possible? I mean, when the Doctor regenerates, he's always a grown man.
And nevermind on the River Song thing, one of my friends told me she was supposed to come back in The Doctor's Wife, but obviously she was wrong hahaha. And that sucks that she's stuck in there. I thought it was just a temporary type thing :/
And did you know that they're making another season of Torchwood? I'm so exciteddd! I'm gonna have to find a new way to watch it though, since my television doesn't get BBC America (my dad gets it which is how I watch Doctor Who, but I am NOT watching Torchwood with him hahaha)

Spoiler: click to toggle Yeah I'm not sure they would bring back Jenny, it was a pretty weak storyline, one episode and then she was off, never to be mentioned again. I'd love to see her again though but I'm not sure they would use her to play such a big part of the story. Like you said, you always forget about her. I guess it's just one of those things, almost like it doesn't really count in the Doctor Who universe, like it was to insignificant. I'm really sad about River Song dying before we even knew her, although what a great storyline RTD set up for SM by introducing her in the way he did, it's like his gift to SM and Doctor Who as a whole I have never actually seen an episode of Torchwood simply because it's never on anymore! It used to be before I knew what it was and now I know they don't play it! I went into JB HI-FI yesterday to get my friend some Boosh DVDs for her birthday and I was overwhelmed by all the Doctor Who DVDs! Right back to William Hartnell! Next time I go in I'll get a photo, it dominates one long shelf and a half. It's amazing!!! Every single episode ever filmed was on that shelf in DVD format!

Spoiler: click to toggle Haha cool about all the Doctor Who DVDs in the store Now that I've seen all the episodes of the current run of Doctor Who, lol. I think the kid is Amy's. I don't have any speculations further than that though. I'm not sure what I think about the woman with the eye patch who keeps opening those sliding window things either...my imagination might run on more after another episode or two...but again Doctor Who's writers are fantastic about foreshadowing...they do a LOT of it kind of to the point where you just keep wondering until the end when they finally tell you...not with everything but with some stuff...like that crack in the wall last season...they went on for ages before giving a few little clues. And River, yeah her first episode was the end of her character. Like she said in her last episode...when she kissed the Doctor and it was his first kiss, meaning it was her last...she knew the day was coming when she'd meet the Doctor and he wouldn't even recognize her and it'd probably kill her...well, that episode in season 4 was when the Doctor met her and yeah, she died. I need to watch Torchwood still...I have the first season on my computer but have only watched the first episode. The new season is going to be on Starz actually, not BBC America. So no commercials and less censoring.

Spoiler: click to toggle Haha, there are TONS of Doctor Who DVDs at the Barnes and Noble near me too, its like, the only place that has them. And I look forward to seeing the picture lol. Aw man, Torchwood is on Starz now?? That sucks I don't get that channel. My mom just got Verizon Fios, so I'll get BBC America now but Starz in not on the list of channels we now get. Damn, that sucks. I'll just have to watch it online. But yayyy for less censoring! Hahaha. But they never really censored that show anyway, there was tons of cursing and sexual innuendos/conversations. You guys should totally watch it, its amazing. Its like Doctor Who, but just geared more toward adults. Netflix has it, so you can watch it there. Do they have Netflix in Australia?

Spoiler: click to toggle Ah I have fios also. We've had enough mishaps with things that we got all the paid channels free for a year once. I love them though I don't know what I'd do without them...well there's always the internet. I just saw the second Torchwood episode earlier. Now I'm rewatching last weeks Doctor Who waiting for the new one next.

Spoiler: click to toggle The Rebel Flesh, pretty good episode, reminded me a little of the David Tennant era, there is notable difference in styles with sets and the like. But I liked it. Although the fact that it's a two parter pisses me off!!! I hate them! Always leaving me hanging, Christ, worst thing ever.
