Alright so, he is my favorite Doctor from Doctor Who, of the three I have seen. I liked Christopher Eccleston and I like Matt Smith now...but I freaking loved David Tennant. So the other night I was watching tv when the trailer for the remake of Fright Night came on, maybe you've seen this movie:

I actually happened to watch it last summer when I was up at Crater Lake, had a good laugh...especially at Marcy Darcy (Married...with Children) being in it as a teenager! But yeah they've remade this movie to come out this summer and you know the old man in that trailer? Guess who's taking over that role? David Tennant!

I'm kind of mad about the trailer...because the first time I saw the trailer a few days ago, I HEARD David Tennant in it...I didn't really see him and I don't remember what he said but I knew he was in it because I HEARD his voice and then I HAD to look it up on IMDB to see if he was in the movie, which he was...I can only find the one trailer online though and it only has him in it for a fraction of a second, at 2:10 in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Either way he's supposed to have a big role in the film. The only difference in the character, other than age, between the original and remake is that the original was a tv host while in this version he's a vegas magician guy...and lmao look at his character's press shot ;)

But yeah sooo I'm going to be doing the best I can to see that movie when it hits theaters here in August...though it might be a tad difficult with the whole living on a mountain with no car thing >.< I'll find a way!!!

But anyhow...

HE LOOKS LIKE JESUS! Hahahaha, I saw Fright Night about a year or so agao and when I found out they were making a remake, I looked it up and saw David Tennant's name. I was so confused when I saw that his character was Peter Vincent, since in the original, Peter Vincent was an old-ish man. And they turned his character into Criss Angel, whether it was intentional or not.

I can't wait to see it. David Tennant + leather pants = a must see XD

Here's David Tennant in the trailer... over and over again hahahaha. To clarify, I did not make this, I found it.

And I can't believe MCLOVIN is in this!!!! That makes me double-excited.

lol yeah! I saw that clip when I was looking for the trailer I saw on tv...I'm still mad I can't find it because it WAS a different one!...just when it comes to Tennant anyway...I can't even find an international one that's different because you'd think they'd REALLY want to market him being in it in the UK or something since he's more well known over there! Erg...I really wish I could remember the line he had...but I can't I just know I recognized his voice more than I saw him and that's why I knew it was him...grr...

But yeah lol, pity they've turned Peter Vincent into Criss Angel, but it's David Tennant which means it'll be awesome. :D

I'm right there with you on him in leather pants being a must see ;) Something about him is just...really attractive to me lol.

I also just downloaded the BBC mini-series Casanova with him so I'm going to watch him as Casanova :D haha...as seen here:

I saw Casanova! At least, I saw the first episode. It was awesome and really funny, but kind of silly at the same time. In one part, he's making a confession to a priest and he's telling him all the sexually deviant things he's done and the priest is like, having a heart attack XD If I can find the clip from it, I'll post it.

And the last picture is from Secret Smile hahaha. I haven't seen it, but I know that David plays a seriously abusive, albeit sexy, douche bag in it.

I shall...I just finished downloading, I won't get to see it until later though :( I'm also downloading his more recent mini-series Single Father.

I wish I could afford to go to London this summer and see him and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing. :(

What's Single Father about? I've heard of it, but I don't remember what else, other than a single father, it's supposed to be about.

Me too! :( I'm so envious of people who live in Europe.

Okay Casanova was awesome! I really loved it and would recommend it to anyone who likes Tennant. There's not a LOT of sex in it...but what there is would be on par with the sex in like, True Blood or other premium channels lol surprising it aired on BBC3 and it just goes to show the differences between the US and the UK again though...or BBC3 is a premium channel over there...though my understanding is that's not the case...

Alright...I watched Secret Smile after Casanova...and god...my only positive comment about Tennant in this movie is that he is a GREAT actor...because he really is he gets into that role fantastically...but god he plays a creep...abusive douchebag is an understatement...god I hated him in this movie so much...but I'm supposed to, so he does well...Still a great story, but I don't like seeing him play such a creep :( ...as a hint to the douche-y creepiness he is in the movie...he and the main character date for about 10 days, and she comes home to find him IN her apartment because he thought it was okay to take her spare set of keys with him and let himself in, and then proceed to go through all of her things...so she breaks up with him and he starts dating her sister! And the story behind that picture I posted up there^(which now makes it creepy, not sexy -.-) is that while at her parents house, he and the sister announce their engagement much to the main character's unhappiness, and then she gets left alone with him and he tells her that while he was announcing the engagement he was watching her mouth because he was thinking to himself "I came in that mouth." And after she gets disgusted from him saying that he licks his fingers at her...ugh *skin crawls* Dammit David Tennant! Why did you have to take such a creepy role???? >.<

Yeah I haven't watched Single Father yet so I'm not exactly sure what it's about..supposed to be sad though according to a review I read. I guess his wife dies tragically and he gets left a single father and might be trying to find love again :-/ I'm gonna have to watch it and I'll let you know!
