Since Maggie created a thread for David Tennant, I thought it only right to make one for Matt Smith. To introduce a topic of conversation, I'd like to present you with a short clip of a movie (at least, I think it's a movie) that he was in called Christopher and His Kind that I found, entirely by accident. I looked up the title on youtube and this popped up, and I can honestly say that I will never look at him the same way again. Before you watch it, I must warn you - Matt Smith makes out (while also naked) with a German guy, so if you're offended by that sort of thing, I suggest you don't watch it. It gets pretty intense, if you know what I mean. If you want, I can post the extended version where Matt Smith has HBO-worthy sex with said German guy. You know, me and my friend Ciarrai were talking about Matt Smith and we were saying how, as The Doctor, he flirts more and stuff like that and she said "Oh god, can you imagine what would happen if the 11th Doctor met up with Captain Jack Harkness???" which led to us silently imagining all of the semi-sexual banter that might ensue. And I must say, this video had seriously fueled my imagination on the subject, Hahahaha

Actually I thought that'd be far more heated. The was Man-puppy love, lol. It made me giggle. Maybe I've just been exposed to way to much gay porn XD But I LOVE Matt Smith and I think you've hit the nail on the head as to why I love him so. He's so flirty and fun! Quite quirky too and I just enjoy watching him run about like a chicken without its head. And yet he always has a plan. As the Doctor that is, I haven't seen him in anything else. I think part of who Matt Smith is, is just as he is in Doctor Who because he brings the same energy to that movie and I think I saw a clip of him in Party Animals and it was similar. But it's that energy that makes him an amazing Doctor. For me it makes him my favourite. It makes him my Doctor

Here is the link to the HBO-worthy one hahaha. About a minute in is where the first video starts. I know that in the description, I exaggerated the graphic-ness of the first video, but I didn't want to under-exaggerate it. Does that make sense? lol Hahaha, yeah, I love his quirkiness too. It makes him really fun and adorable, while at the same time, his mind is running a million miles an hour and he comes up with the plan that saves the planet. I haven't seen him in anything else, but as soon as Christopher and His Kind hits Netflix, me and my friend are totally gonna watch it

Hahahaha, if you're a perv than so am I XD I wanna see it too. Very true. It was mostly for any new members who might come across it, rather than the usual bunch of LE girls. I was paranoid that some 12 or 13 year old girl who likes Doctor Who would see this and get excited, but then when she watched the video her innocent eyes would be scarred, hahaha. And hahaha, I like your idea XD |

Well gay sex scenes aren't the only reason I want to watch it, I just wanted to make that clear ![]() Oh yeah of course, although no one is innocent at 12 or 13 anymore! Geez my sister just turned 12 and shit; she acts like she's 16 +. I'm pretty sure she's seen stuff just as sexual in other movies and tv shows you know. It's quite sad really. I'm not a big fan of marriage and the idea of staying completely monogamous to one person even if it is Matt Smith. Only having sex with that one person for the rest of your life (3 years or whatever the average length of a marriage these days is) does not appeal to me. I'd have to really, REALLY love a person to have a 100% closed relationship

I know lol, me neither. It looks like a genuinely interesting story. Yeah, what is up with the children of today? Its disgusting, really. There are 12 year olds drinking Four Loko, and 8th graders losing their virginities in the bathrooms of Dunkin' Donuts' (True story, my ex-friend lost her virginity that way. And then she got suspended for leaving school grounds. How she got caught, you ask? She "forgot" her pants in the bathroom. Fucking idiot.) When I was that age, it never seemed like a big deal but now, I see things like that and I'm like "Oh my god! Where are your parents!" Getting older is weird. I'm becoming responsible *gasps* I get what you mean. And what happens if you get married and then you meet someone new who is ten times better and more perfect for you than your current husband? You're shit out of luck and then you spend the rest of your life pining over some guy you can't have. I feel like that's a contributing factor to why there are so many divorces. |

Oh I love when they brag about their consumption of alcoholic beverages. As far as I' concerned your old enough to drink when you don't brag about doing it which means half the people of legal age shouldn't be drinking either. And your ex-friend sounds disgusting. How could she forget her pants!? I know and when I see children doing things I never did it's even worse. I even scold children for swearing on face book lol. Talk about getting responsible! I agree totally. Although I'd just divorce if I was them but I wouldn't get married to begin with. Maybe if I thought I'd found my soul mate but I doubt that shit exists. I think a big factor is they just rush into it and realise what a cock the other person is. Also divorce is such an easy thing to do and it's not seen as such as bad thing as it was 50 years ago. No one really liked their husband but they stayed with them because that was the proper thing to do. Today divorce is nothing. |

That's a fair point, haha. They should make that the new rule. There would most likely be far less car accidents caused by drunk drivers. And yeah, she is disgusting. Last I heard of her, she was fucking old men for meth. And she definitely "forgot" her pants on purpose. She probably just wanted attention. I really hate people like that. Hahaha! When I see people getting into intense fights on facebook or youtube it just makes me laugh. They're just trying to get attention and seem more mature than they are, when, in reality, it has the opposite effect. Yeah, I always thought that the prospect of a soulmate, while romantic, is also unrealistic. It would be totally great if I met mine, but after all the failed marriages I've seen, I guess I just don't really believe in it anymore. An yeah, divorce is a lot more common nowadays. 50% of all marriages end in divorce. My cousin LOVES screaming that statistic out the car window when we drive by someone getting married. Hahaha. I love how we went from talking about Matt Smith to stupid kids and marriage. |

Wow...what a depressing turn this conversation took! I agree though, kids these days are shocking and I don't exactly believe in marriage. I don't know that I'll never get married, but I am definitely not looking for a husband...I know a lot of girls just want to get married and start families so badly that they do crazy shit. I completely believe that love exists but like I wrote in my Killing Moon story...I honestly do believe that it's become harder to find "soul mates" because of how much the population has grown and how much easier it is to talk to people all over the world. I mean less people = better chance of finding someone and sticking with them. They'd be your only option really so chances are you WOULDN'T come across anyone else...that argument probably isn't that helpful but it's kind of how I see it...can only hope to enjoy your time with someone as it lasts and if you can make it seemingly forever then perhaps you've found a soul mate. Who knows. |
