And Mags, I am so glad that it's starting to work! Don't worry too much about motivation. It'll come back in time and full force!

I'm so glad you're feeling better now Mags! It sucks to be in that sort of place and trying to balance school work with the rest of your life.

Oh wow, Trish that's excellent. I'm so proud of you!

Amon, hows your job search going? I'm rather glad I live where I am. Perhaps start looking at jobs you can do online? Depending on what your good at. It's piss easy to do that with Wordpress websites these days. Website hosting etc... If your good at graphics you can create designs that people can buy on shirts, keyrings, stickers etc...

The book I'm reading is Breaking Open the Head by Daniel Pinchbeck. It's a drug and spirituality book. It's really very interesting. This guy travels to different parts of the world and takes part in ancient drug rituals with tribes who have been practicing them for generations and he not only recounts his own experiences but references other people and stories and facts and it's all just really interesting. The spirituality mentioned in it is all very creatively inspiring. I checked the book out of my college library, but I think I might buy myself a copy lol.

Thanks Belle, I'm still working on balancing everything especially since we just finally hit that spot where we're getting actual work to do >.< but I am doing a lot better so far....except that I think I'm coming down with a cold...dang being around people more = being sick more >.< I JUST had a cold to welcome the new year...this is crap!

I think I'm just going to put in some random job apps and hope for something close but not be too picky.....at least my college ID = free bus riding...so I'll have to suck it up and learn the bus schedule....tons of other people do it, I shouldn't use that as my excuse to not have a job anymore >.< gah.

Do you have a degree plan, Mags? Or are you just focusing on your basics at the moment?

Eh, both? I don't have a definitive plan yet. I know I want to transfer to the University of Oregon eventually because they have an awesome Scandinavian program. So I know I'm going to need to take two years of a second language, even though the biggest reason I want to go there is to take their Swedish course! (Tri-lingual is better right??) So I want to be an English major, with a focus in Scandinavian studies...if I did my research properly that's a real thing lol...so I'm trying to get my shit together so I can move to Oregon and take my final year of community college up there so I can declare residency, because University of Oregon is like $20,000 a year for residents and $40,000 for non-residents of Oregon. So...I'm thinking being a resident would be smart money-wise...plus it'll help my psychologically/emotionally. One of my biggest problems is I feel stuck between being an adult and a child. I want to take care of myself and be independent, because I am almost 21, I feel like an adult, etc. Yet I live at home, my parents take me to school because I don't drive and I don't have a job so it's like I'm still in high school...only...it's college? Blah. Need to get past this shit. >.<
