Four of the Reds most promising young players were handed full contracts this week as Forest endeavor to hang on to their better talent with interest coming in for the youngsters from the Premier league and beyond.

Tyler Walker, Nikolay Todurov, Matty Cash and Freddie Nielsen. are the youngsters in particular. Walker is the son of club legend Des Walker and is a goal-getting striker, much the opposite of his father who specialised on stopping goals. Todurov is a bullish striker from Bulgaria who only arrived last summer yet has already earned himself a pro deal with his performances.

Cash is a box-to-box midfield talent who also arrived in 2014 from Bisham Abbey, another new recruit was Nielsen. The 17-year-old Dane arrived from home town club Viborg and is a colossus at the back, especially considering his imposing frame.

Forest are still looking toward the future, and with these four now tied down the outlook appears a little brighter at the City Ground.
