Forest's No1 striker Britt Assombalonga has been ruled out for twelve months following knee surgery.

The striker, who is Forest’s top scorer this season with 15 goals, sustained the injury while shooting against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday night.

Assombalonga underwent surgery recently and it is estimated it will take at least one year for him to fully recover.

It's true, the captain will be out for a month.

However the good news is that Mancienne and Wilson will both be fit for the Bolton Match.

Hobbs recovery usually takes twice as long as predicted so it's probable we won't see him on the pitch again till mid to late April.

Sorry I pressed add reply before I had finished my rant, so his (Hobbs) latest return from long term injury lasted 8 games. I think my generation would describe him as buying a pig in a poke. ( Younger fans ask your dad) Anyone got a number for Sammy Chapman?
