NFFC have issued a statement clarifying the delay with Pinillios this is down to the Spanish FA dragging their heels over international clearance, which being an EU member i did not think we needed

Good point Tog all these associations are full of their own importance. I lived in a South Wales border town for many years and ran a glorified pub team, if one of my players wanted to sign for the team in the next village 2 miles down the road which was in Gloucestershire they would have to wait for INTERNATIONAL clearance from the Welsh FA which could take an age, so the fact the Spanish FA are dragging their heels is no surprise to me. Looking at it from another angle why are we having so much trouble with loan signings it can't be a coincidence surely? And does any of this warrant a grave club statement? Still if the clearance doesn't come through today it will give Doo-gie the excuse of fielding the hopeless Fox yet again. |

So our new left back has received clearance to play but as DF has a tradition of saying one thing and doing the opposite it will be all eyes on the team sheet around 2.15 this afternoon to see if our already under pressure manager can back up his words for once. If he selects Fox in front of this boy he won't be here much longer. |

A win is a win so lets just soak it up, however only in Doo-gie world could we have him ranting about the Spanish FA dragging its heels over the paperwork for the Spanish boy, get the clearance and then not play him. It all points to the fact that we won't be seeing Pinillios start soon as Mancillene put in a motm performance at left back and Fox is still on the bench as well, presumably as first choice replacement plus the fact that the number 3 shirt is available but the new LB has been given number 31. |
