Forest are eyeing a midfield loan signing to replace Michael Mancienne who may be ruled out for up to six weeks.

The aptly named Liam Trotter from Bolton is the favorite to grace the City Ground with Leicester's Dean Hammond also interesting Dougie freedman.

Well it seems to have gone quiet on this one now which could be due to the embargo Pesonally I hope Fawaz has come to his senses and told Doogie to use the players we have available rather than sign another plonker. This player can't get a game at bottom of the league Bolton do we need another of Doogies uninspiring loans.

Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Bolton Wanderers’ Liam Trotter.
The 27-year-old central midfielder, who has also played for Millwall and Ipswich, will spend a month at The City Ground.

He is eligible for today's match against Ipswich Town.
