According to the Greek press, Forest are set to install ex Real Madrid midfielder José Miguel González Martín del Campo (just plain Michel Gonzalez as he's better known) as their new first team coach. Míchel played for Real for nearly fourteen years and was capped by Spain on sixty six occasiosfrom 1985 to 1992, playing in two World Cups. and one European Championship. He started working as a manager in 2005, notably leading Olympiacos to two Greek Superleague titles. As a result, Michel is well known to Olympiakos owner Evangelos Marinakis who is finalising a deal to invest in the Reds which, according to reports, will see him claim an 80 per cent stake at the City Ground. |
