Nottingham Forest have signed experienced defender Damien Perquis on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old centre back, who has signed a two-year deal, racked up a number of appearances in the French and Spanish top flights with Sochaux and Real Betis before most recently playing for Toronto in the MLS.

Perquis, who was born in France but plays for Poland at international level, began his career with hometown team Troyes, progressing through their academy and becoming a first-team regular.

This follows on from Forest's earlier signings of Charlton Athletic’s Irish goalkeeper Stephen Henderson on a free transfer and the loan signing of Benfica’s Hildeberto Pereira.
