Do you think that we may go for Burke, Ward & Boyd? :)

Joking apart, I seriously think that we will go for Stephen Ward.

Although, is there any point when a play off place seems almost unattainable now. We would need a run of form of monumental proportions.

Well there'll be no point in anyone sounding anyone else out about emergency loans until a new coach has been installed at the club.
That may take some time, as the January window farce and the subsequent resignation of Alex MacLeish has damaged the club in the eyes of many.

Oh, by the way, I altered the title of the article so that people don't get confused with a 'mere' emergency loan rumour and the real emergency the club now faces.

Crewe's Luke Murphy is the first rumour out the hat as Billy takes over.

I've a feeling there may be a few more. *2*

Rumour has it that Fawas recognises that dealing in the British transfer market is tougher than he anticipated and is moving to bring Stevenage's acquisition's manager Leon Hunter to the club.

PIncoming playerwise,

the first name on Billy's lips is said to be his old mucker Kris Boyd.

How many loans can we have at the club at any one time? We seem to have a few here already!

You can have as many as you like, but you can only play five on the field at any one time.

Stevenage won't be parted from Leon Hunter, so Fawas has moved to promote part time scout Bobby Downes to the post of recruitment manager.

Former Birmingham and Everton striker James McFadden's proposed loan deal to Forest has collapsed after the exit of Alex McLeish.

McFadden will now stay on and fight for a place at Sunderland.

Forest will have to face a little competition for the signature of former Rangers striker Kris Boyd.

Hull City are also on the lookout far an extra striker to buck up their promotion push and free agent Boyd fits the bill for Steve Bruce.
