Davis McGoldrick will play the last game of his loan spell at Ipswich Town in their game against Derby on Saturday and will then return to Nottingham forest.

McGoldrick has scored four goals in twelve outings for the Tractor boys and another Eighteen goals in twenty five games in his previous loan spell at Division One Coventry. The Nottingham born striker, whose contract expires at the end of June, was only allowed a ninety three day loan at Portman Road because of this previous loan spell at the Richo Arena.

Should Ipswich win their battle to stay in the Championship, they will offer the player a three year deal.

David will now be staying at Ipswich and training with their squad until his contract runs out in June.

He has been offered a two year deal, subject to the club winning their relegation fight, although he cannot play again himself until next season
