So, what would we like to do in terms of a prolouge? Shall we give an example of normal life as crewmembers settle into their roles? Alittle personal drama as they come to terms with the specifics of the Black Star? Something else entirely? Let's throw out some ideas here. My personal idea: The Kukri personnel get settled in and come together for an evening meal in a Lounge to discuss their positions and such. Neostar lets on alittle more than they were expecting about ship assignments and everyone voices their concerns, the conversation eventually turns over to mission discussion, where Neo is to reveal their first assignment as the Black Star. It'd be a bit of a slow-paced prologue with not so much combat as there is character interaction. We could include alittle excitement, but I think getting off to an easy start where writers explore their character personas might do us good, especially those who have modified their characters or their attitudes. Your thoughts? |

It sounds fine but I have a question. Are we a combat ship? Because if so. . . I don't know how I will fit into this particular area. After all Hana is a linguist not a fighter. She does know a little hand-to-hand combat but still. . . I don't really know how she will fit. But your idea is great. I am up for anything really. |

Sounds neat to me. Now that Ariel is the only med officer aboard the ship (unless another appears) and the mother of twins, it should make things quite interesting. |

We're currently retaining our prior designation of Combat Reconnaissance by default. It provides plenty of room on both sides of the fence for characters who want to play combat roles and characters that want to do supporting roles, such as linguists or medics. |

At the evening meal I'd like you to read Stella's last Will and Testament if you could Neo because there are some things that obviously she would have left to the ship. Ariel, I also will need to speak with you about something Stella would have confided in you with as well sometime in the past. Other then that I'm perfectly happy with us being a combat ship as well as one that seeks knowledge. That is all. |

Alright, on the missions, this is what i got: Darkland is exactly that, dark. it's the biggest scientific mystery in the dominion, the entire area is shrouded in a very colorful and bright nebulae, but as soon as you pass a certain distance through, it becomes nearly pitch dark, with very few dying stars in the entire sector. That being said, Darkland is still populated enough that it possesses Senatorial status. Although the people there are somewhat removed from the norm of what is species variation. What can be said about the fringe? it's the largest sector of the Dominion in that in encircles the whole thing. It's difficult to traverse, and such the people there are somewhat less civilized and less so "in the loop" of Dominion happenings. The Senatorial job is the most diverse, we'd basically dock the Black Star and become the personal assistants, and bodyguards of various senators, as well as work in the Senate space station to keep things running smoothly. I kinda dig this mission idea, because it lets us all play our characters jobs out without compromise, and we get to create and explore the politics of our own universe. |

...Not really. Poor Wanderlost seemed to be confused, and she admitted as much. But I think everyone else is pretty clear. |

The only part that I am a little confused with is people seem to be in two places at once. Like your (Bakatare) room and The last Stop (the bar.) |

Alright, I'll make it simple. Me and Phoenix were in my room. Neo came to my room. Ariel came to my room. Everyone else was in the bar. Phoenix left my room (I assume) and went to the bar. Clear enough? |

Well i didn't really leave....the whole story suddenly changed. I think the entries starting with Clouds (relating to the bar) should be oved to he Last Stop. And then the conversation between Tare, Neo and myself can continue, since it got cut short. |

I disagree. The story didn't suddenly change. Just more than one thing was happening at once. Theoreticlly, in at very least their first post, people should make it clear where they are. As long as they do, and you read it all, there shouldn't be any confusion. I don't think the bar conversation should be moved. I don't like it when things go from the main story to parts of the living quarters. I always look at the living quarters as seperate from the main story, almost in a bit of a temporal loophole. If you start jumping from the main story, to the living quarters and back again, it will be near impossible to follow what's going on. |

I guess then, I shall suddently develop split personalities so I can attend both discussions. HAHA okay....well, you did say "we can finish this conversatin later" which kind of excuses us to other things, right? |
