I suppose it does.

In general, I think people don't have to worry about the story having more than one conversation at the same time. As long as everyone makes it clear where they are, and everyone takes care to figure out where others are before they talk to them, we should be able to avoid confusion.

Annoying...

Well, that isn't a complete sentence. Is having more than one conversation at a time annoying, or am I?

It's a problem with my own sensibilities as a writer, and not how everyone else is writing. Let's move on.

WILL IT EVER FREAKIN' STOP!

Alright, this one was my fault for starting a training battle, I think I'll have Dreathus close things up and we move the hell on to The Darklands, how about...

EDIT: Done. We will soon move on to the exploration of the Darklands. Life sucks, wear a helmet.

...Ok, now I need to do my morale guy duty.

First: Yeah, maybe starting a fight that only included you (admit it, you didn't expect Crash to be involved) wasn't the best move for advancing the story.

Second: Once it was started, however, you really shouldn't have just ended it without giving the other players involved a chance. Crash had no choice in the outcome of this event. Not fair to him.

Third: As much as I'm sure we all appreciate the fact that the story is moving forwards, you're cutting at least one conversation between some of the players off without warning. Also less than fair.

All this being said, what's done is done. I don't think you need to go and change anything but, in the future, perhaps it would be better to give everyone involved a fair chance before ending an event or a story like you did.

I went back and re-read a bit more previous to Dreathus closing the topic, and it does seem I closed it in haste, for that I apologize, I had mis-read what was there and thought the conversations were for the most part at a stopping point, and on the part of Crash, yes, not fair to him that I didn't give him much room to shine, and for that much I'm sorry, but I will make note that the fight has been open Since April 27th. With two whole posts from Crash since. I'm not knocking on him for lack of participation, but I for one am tired of this one section of our story dragging on, and I'm tired of hearing people gripe about it, I think it's time we move on.

Oh, and the "Life sucks, wear a helmet" bit was meant in joking form, it's a Dennis Leary joke.

All right, just making sure you were aware of everything. Let's get our story on.

Oh, and I just have to say in defense of Crash's participation, yeah he only posted twice. But part of that was because he could only post in response to what else happened in the dog fight. He was taking turns posting, and it was your turn just as often as it was his. Ok, I'm done now.

so any thoughts as to the next chapter of our adventure?

Or are we continuing things where we left off, with a little time elapse...?

I like the Idea of continuing from where we are only with the times laps.
