The first thing that hit you as you entered the club was the noise. It ran right through you, trying to shatter your very being until your mind pulsated with the music. Next came the lights, set to illuminate but not to show anything in detail. The majority of things were left hidden. It was still early days since the club had opened but all ready it was crowded. In the center of the dance floor what looked like a young child was dancing alone. It caused the question, what is she doing here? to race through the beholders brain. But it was soon forced aside as the mass of bodies moved and she was obscured by view. Now there were other people to worry about. The small creature who indeed appeared of around the age eleven was once more deceiving others. Was there another person to fall under the mask of youth? A smile spread across her features as the song changed to one consisting of a stronger and faster beat. She whirled repeatedly, never missing a beat. Feeling that she was in her element. This was where she was supposed to be. Others around her gave her plenty of room knowing that if they didn't there would be hell to pay. For this same reason no one tried to come near her. They disgusted her, being so weak and scared to even be near her. The ones closest always seemed to have their eye on her. Even being small didn't hide her from their gazes. But let them stare, let them see who she was, let them fear her. They were all just pathetic. |

Long time no see my old friend Why was Blade talking to the streets? It was a good thing that there wasn't anyone walking down the sidewalk, utherwise they would give her funny looks. Normally Blade could stand comments and funny looks but this was different. It was the first time she had stepped foot on her home...old home since she had learnt and moved to a better life...a different world all together. The streets hadn't changed much. Perhaps more litter flew around making the place look dirty...dirtier. Perhaps an old run down building was being converted into a new flashy building. Perhaps a flashy building was dying..being run down...fading away into the darkness with many of Blade's memories. One thing that hadn't changed was how quiet and dark the nights grew. Good job Blade was never scared of the dark, and she always filled the quiet air with the sound of her voice talking to herself. Turning the corner Blade allowed her feet to guide her anywhere, seeing as she didn't have a specific destination. They stopped infront of a glowing sign hanging outside a door with purple lights. This was a club that hadn't changed since Blade had left. It held so many memories and Blade was glad that they hadn't faded away. She entered the club and the difference in atmosphere hit her. The loud music peircing through her, the amount of people...not wonder the streets were empty. She had to squeeze her tiny body through the crowd in order to get to the bar. Behind the bar was a tall, brown spikey haired man looking about 20. Blade smiled and beared her pearly white teeth which shone brightly in the low lit club. Phew he is hot! Blade thought to herself. It wouldn't have mattered if the words had passed her lips because the loud music would covered them like a blanket muffling all the sound. Dirty Martini Please She said in her sweetest voice and with that...like magic...the drink was infront of her pretty, in a slender glass. Smiling gratefully she grabbed it...but realised she had no money. Her eyes widended and something peculiar happened. The young barman laughed and spoke with a sexy voice which circled Blade and nearly made her fly. For you...on the house! Blade turned around, a huge grin on her face. Maybe he knew her? That would be ok and not ok...maybe he heard her say he was hot. Again that had its pros and cons. A smash...a crash...a shriek Glass smashed on the ground sending shiny clear shards flying in every direction. The liquid however, settled on Blade's dress. Staining it...Well stain was a dramatic word seeing as the liquid couldn't be seen amongst the dark black fabric. But Blade was dramatic when it came to clothes. Throwing her hands up in the air Blade growled. Watch where you're going jerk! But whoever she was talking to had already passed her, rudely, not even saying sorry. Blade growled deeper and glared at the people chuckling and staring at her. |

Tuule continued to dance freely, trying to ignore everything that was going on around her. She was one of the lucky ones, her wild dancing seemed to force the crowd to part for her and no one got in her way. She kept in perfect time to the music and at times it seemed that she was leading the music not the other way around. She began to dream as she danced, she was no longer herself, but rather a tall woman with long black hair and emerald eyes. It was how she had pictured herself grown up when she was innocent. Of course she would have never ended up like that if she never had been turned; her brown hair and eyes would just not allow it. With his arms around her danced a stranger of immense beauty. No one of the same looks had eve been seen before. A smile crossed her face as she imagined the words that would have been said to her, you are looking divine tonight sweetheart. The lyrics would have come out like velvet chocolate and melt her to the bone. But she could not stay in her own little world for long. Sound of a commotion drew her attention to the bar and she caught a glimpse of a ruined outfit and the hasty retreat of the one who had caused it. A low snarl erupted from her throat, causing the ones nearest her to look at her with worry in their eyes. Racing forwards she grabbed the guy by the collar (or as close to as she could manage) and hauled him of his feet. He was a young one and seemed cocky. It was obvious that he had yet to learn the ways of the vampire. Pirouetting on one foot she threw him across the floor. Brightly dressed people scurried out of his way but no one tried to help him up. They couldn’t have thought much of him either. She was annoyed at being brought out of her fantasy so rudely. Never had she quiet managed to finish that one. There was always one person that would spoil it. Soon she would not be quiet so nice to them. Gently she chewed her lip; suddenly dancing had lost its fascination. She turned around wondering whether to get a drink. There was a feeling inside her that tonight would not go quiet as she planned. But then, when did it ever. |

Brushing the dampness from her dress Blade muttered random words under her breath. She frowned at her dress even though there was no sign of any stain. Blade knew this and wasn't vain, she wouldn't get angry over an invisible stain. The fact that someone could be so rude to even bump into her, causing her drink and glass to smash on the floor and go all over the place, and not even have the decency to apolagise made her blood boil. And she had half of hers to punch him like a punch bag. Until that was wiped away with the sound of someone doing that job for her. Blade had to move swiftly out of the way before a crowd of people backed up against her. She was drowned in the tall people which towered infront of her, blocking her view. She frowned and folded her arms with force around her chest. Even though there was noone to show the emphasis on her frustration. She heard the gasps of the watching eyes but couldn't see the action which caused it. Rocking back and forth on her heels she looked around for an empty place to stand, but there was nowhere for even her small frame to squeeze into. She growled again. A circle of people had crowded around this one person who had done the job for Blade. So why wasn't Blade allowed to see this happening? Seeing as noone was moving for Blade, even when she asked them kindly Blade took matters into her own hands. She turned around and smiled at the barman, who was still concerned about the little fight happening behind the mass of people, it was as if animals were crowding around the water hole in the dessert. Blade hopped up onto the bar, carefully not showing any indecent things to the bartender. She stood up and regained her balance, and for once, she could see. She laughed as she saw a child like figure throwing a huge muscley man onto the floor with ease. The laugh grew as she saw the fear in the mans face as he got himself up and disappeared. Once the girl turned around Blade saw the crowd disappear too. Raising her eyebrows Blade remained standing on the bar. Good job she was small, utherwise the purple lights above the bar would hit her head. But she was a few inches away from them. Infact, she liked how the purple lights shone onto her face and hair and dress. She looked at the girl and scrunched her face up. Her blond hair shone in the limited light and Blade was jealous how neat it looked. No, actually she wasn't. Blade liked how her own hair was messy. She gave up on trying to keep it neat years ago. Something inside Blade knew that this girl wasn't what she seemed. She looked about 11, however, Blade had a feeling that this girl was older. Blade had these feelings that things weren't what they seemed frequently, only because they were always true...so she always followed them. Forgetting that she was drawing attention to herself by standing on the bar Blade suddenly snapped out of her "thinking in a dream" and jumped down from the bar, her boots making a light thud when she reached the ground. The young girl walked up to the bar and Blade smiled. She thought that she might keep her mouth shut, becuase sometimes people didn't like people talking to them, especially strangers, and Blade knew that her mouth would get carried away and scare the young woman away with her random rants. Even though, from the show she had just performed, Blade knew that this girl had guts and was brave...hard to scare. Thankyou...for saving me a job of giving that guy a black eye or two. Blade said to the woman as she stopped at the bar. She just hoped that the woman wasn't angry or anything like that...becuase Blade really wanted someone to talk to. It had been too long to cope without a friend or anyone to talk to besides herself. |

Tuule couldn’t help the smile that spread across her innocent features. It was only a small one but was there all the same. She just shrugged, noting that the woman who had just addressed her was not the tallest of creatures. But none the less, she was still bigger than herself. She didn’t say anything, just jumped slightly into a seat next to the other woman. She was glad to note that she wasn’t giving her any odd looks and didn’t seem to be judging her on the age she looked. But then again, how did she know what she was thinking. Since the little episode that had just occurred her mood had lightened slightly. She had managed to get her annoyance out on that little baby vampire. She hoped that he had learnt from it but still wished that her little fantasy had not been slaughtered. Would she ever finish it? Fixing the bartender with a stare that instantly told him not to say anything about her age she prepared to ask for a drink. She had a feeling that he was not born a vampire but had rather been turned. He probably still had some human traits, like not selling alcohol to minors. Not that blood was alcohol. Bet you can’t guess what I want to drink She addressed both the bartender and woman. It wasn’t like there was much of a choice. She spoke with a light, joking tone that after what she had just done to what she would call a minor seemed slightly surprising, but matched her child’s demur. |

Jumping down from the bar, Blade sat herself on a stool next to the girl. Even though the stool was quite small, Blade's feet still however didn't reach the floor, so she let them swing in a dance. She looked at the girl sat on the stool next to her, and her feet were doing the same as Blade's. The smile on the girls face soon turned into a glare, thankfully not directed at Blade herself, but at the bartender behind the bar, who was giving her a hard time by analyzing her. Blade smiled softly at the bartender, a silent "leave her be". The guy quickly got the hint and stood back, searching for anywhere around the room to quickly divert his eyes to. He glanced at Blade, who smile brightly at him before returning her gaze to the acquaintance beside her. Blade looked at the girls outfit. The sparkles off the blue outfit caught the purple lights and shone in every direction, causing little smarks of light to fly around the club, as if they were dancing to their very own music too. Looking down at her own clothes Blade realised what she was wearing didn't really express her personality...considering she was unique, and didn't fit in. However, she smiled as how pretty she thought she looked in her dress...bar the fact her drink was spilt all over it. She was still thirsty infact, having only tasted a sip of her drink on her lips before it was rudely taken away from her. The young girl turned to Blade and smiled at her, a contagious smile which infected Blade. Bet you can’t guess what I want to drink The light words danced from the girls mouth and circled the bar, Blade and the bartender. Blade laughed as the joking tone set in and she shrugged. If it's dirty martini look no further, got plenty down by dress She growled but then turned it into a laugh. She then tried to prove the girl wrong. Blade wasn't a better, a gambler, but she was always up for a dare or anything. So when someone said bet you can't do anything etc, Blade always tried to prove them wrong. You look like a blood girl Blade laughed and the bartender immediatly placed a dirty martini infront of her. She smiled and then used her eyes to give him another hint. God this guy needed a lot of hints. This hint was to get the girl a drink. And hopefully Blade didn't have to pay this time. |

Tuule felt a little annoyed that she was not served first. After all, she had asked first. It was probably because the woman beside her was pretty and of a perfect vampire age while she, appeared to be like an eleven year old. Would that fact ever elude her? After eight hundred and ninety seven years it still haunted her and she believed it always would. But maybe she could do something about it. Those thoughts were pushed immediately to the back of her mind but still floated there, calling out in a soft voice. But she couldn’t’ allow anyone to go through the pain that swelled in her heart, the infuriation that drove her. She supposed that was something to be thankful for. Always having the need to prove herself pushed her further and kept her going. In one swift movement she was crouching on the bar with a hand gripped firmly around a scrawny neck. Her orbs caught the purple glow of the lights causing the demonic anger there to bounce around the room. It was almost like thunderclouds raged above her and her dress made it look like sparks shooting out at all angles. A drink please. The lyrics were hissed and coated in pure venom. When would these low lives learn that she was not just a little kid that could be pushed aside? Was the question that she asked herself. The question seemed to fill her very being and almost constantly bashed itself against the inside of her head. She shoved him backwards nowhere near as hard as the last vampire that crossed her, as a drink of crimson liquid appeared in front of her with almost record timing. She snarled instead of saying thank you and grasped the warm rink in her hands. It smelt fresh and she knew that it would be worth the wait. Taking a sip of the drink of life she turned to study the woman by her side. She took in the black dress that seemed to fit in with the crowd. It was a good thing to see someone who wasn’t a giant though it was inevitable that she was taller than herself. She had yet to see a vampire smaller than her, or indeed anywhere near her own height. The anger of the past second had already been t aimed and now she sat like a statue, looking perfectly calm. Her small hands held the glass in both hands and she glanced up to notice that the bartender had now disappeared to the other end of the bar. This caused a smirk to cross her features and her eyes to light up in childlike joy. |
