S. S. is great! But My faves are Batman, Spider-man, Superman (I know, the big three-but they're friggin' cool) Captain America and Savage Dragon.

Savage Dragon was one of the best, funniest books of all time.

They are available at any comics shop although they might be alittle hard to find.

Madman (printed by DarkHorse) is just silly. You might have to resort to Ebay for some of them (right now there is a bid going on for madman 1-3 with annual). It's a fun, whimsical kinda comic. For instance; Madman's weapon of choice is a modified pez-dispenser that shoot mints at near lethal speed. I hear that there is a movie lined up for this sometime in the future. With CGI, it will be a blast.

Shi is a more adult, cerebral style comic printed by Crusade Comics. Again, you may have to resort to Ebay, but it's a good comic to have and going for a good price right now..Shi is bound to be a movie sooner or later and early issues will then skyrocket.

Wetworks is printed by Image comics (it is being ressurrected as a pst of the new wildstorm that Image is releasing. It's bloody beyond belief but the artwork is superb and characters are pretty cool.

I did forget one of my favorites. (I can't believe I did) It's a DC comic and it's sort of a ressurrection in itself... Starman. This one is dark, the hero is reluctant and snotty, and some of the early one's are steeped in macabre and somewhat disturbing..(molestation, drug addiction, etc..) Check it out..

Time to kick this thread up again:

My all-time favorite comic character is Captain America

The Star-Spangled Avenger has it all, courage, skill, strength, and honesty. Strangers and enemies alike trust Cap with their lives.

Another fave:Black Canary

Dinah Lance is a happening chick, the 1st heroine of '50s comic books to take it to the streets with fists and feet!
