Do you belive that you find answers in the bible that are in the form of code's.
I just watched a program on Bible Code's in which they say that they found several reference's to thing's that have happened inthe past.
I like the 9/11 tragedy and world war 2.
So let me know what you think. :reading:

When my critics find a message about the assassination of a prime minister encrypted in Moby Dick, I'll believe them.

Quote By Michael Drosnin.

And indeed they did find messages about assassinations in Moby Dick, including Martin Luther King's. Does this mean that God put them there too?

There seem to be codes and messages in songs played backwards for another example. . My bet is you'll find "hidden codes" in many, many other books too. This guy has made a ton of money off the two books.

There have been numerous tests done since the first book came out, and people have managed to find "prophecies" in almost everything you can think of.

I saw the Moby Dick ones too. This is all bunk, if you ask me.

The 'system' they use to sniff out the codes is so chaotic it can hardly be called a 'system' at all. Give me some time, a federal research grant and copies of some old books and I can pick out some codes too.

I just don't buy into this...I feel like anytime you have a book with that many word's you can find a code, also if you look at how they get these's code's there is no order to them.....all they do is pick letter's on a page to make word's then they put it together...... :nuhuh:

No i can't see where there is any truth to this code stuff at all....If they find one before it happen's then maybe i'll listen....But sense they have all been found after the fact, it means nothing to me really.... <_<

Really...I mean its like...ummm excuse me could you help me out BEFORE the devastating deadly tragedy happens...not explain to me that we could have read "the code" before and forsaw the whole thing.....these ppl have no lives if they look 4 stuff thats not really there just so they can try and convince the public of something "supernatural"......plus even if we did know if it was meant to happen we can't prevent it....i think its all a load of nothing.... :speechless:

Well, since it can be done with just about any large book, I'd have to say no, I don't believe in them.

Actually, the Bible Codes are mathematical in nature, they are not chaotic at all. Take the Hebrew Torah (the first 5 books of the Christian Old testament), and lay all the type out with no spaces.

The variables are: your "skip" number. The "skip" is the number (as small as two) that you use to find the codes. For example:

The text of my poem would be:

I N T H E C O L D D A R K N I G H T A S T H E W I N D T E A R S T H R O U G H M Y H U D D
L E D F O R M W I T H B L O O D Y F A N G S I S H I V E R

Now, a skip of 4 would be the following letters from this sample:
IHLRGSWTSOMDDMHOAI

Now the codes become interesting when they get a hit, meaning they find words within the skip lines. Once they find words within those lines, they circle them, and then line those circles up, and then RELATED words appear in the grid, up or down, diagonally or backwards. The key here is that these words are RELATED not only to each other, but also to the TEXT of the Torah itself.

Mathematically speaking, on one of the experiments they did with the names and BIRTHDATES of the famous Jewish rabbis, the probability was more than astronomical.

These experiments are repeatable, observable, and have been published in a Mathematical Peer Review Journal.

There are a few people who want to say you'll get the same results with Moby Dick, or other large works, but you can't get the same relational probability in ANY other text they have tried (and Michael Drosnin, et al have tried several texts).

One researcher put in his own name and birthdate and found it with some relational words that came true, near a cross matrix of his father, and grandfather's names and birthdates. That didn't happen with Moby Dick.

Don't be so quick to discount the codes.

I'm not saying they are a message from God, but I *am* saying they are there (that fact can't be disputed) and it warrants more study.

Keep an open mind.
