I don't know, I've kinda given up on thinking the Lochness Monster is real. I think people would have foud something definitive by now. (Love the accents)

I mean, seriously...come on already. There is no way a giant friggin' icthyosaurus is living in this little lake. They have virtually dredged the entire thing, scoured every liter of the place multiple times and found nothing. There is also no way the ecosystem could support something of that massive size, and certainly not it's offspring (which it would need to have to continue to patrol that loch for this long). |

:headaslap: pfft dont you people know any better. My votes for the Otter. After all with science now a days. It could be a gentically altered Mutated sea otter. That shoots laser beams from its eyes. XD

The guy who filmed it is listed as an 'amateur scientist". WTF does that mean?! A 'scientist' is, by nature, a professional! Amateur scientist...pfffft...what is he, Nikola Tesla? |

I think I was also an "amateur" scientist back in the 5th grade. We did experiments and stuff.

It is...but she's right...it's a staple of British culture...like fish n' chips in newspaper wrap, rainclouds and Manchester United. <_< |

I don't think many of you guys appreciate the size of the Loch.. GWH it is not a little lake it is the largest body of fresh water in the UK. By volume Loch Ness holds morefreshwater than all the lakes and reservoirs in England and Wales puttogether. Over 754 ft deep, 24 miles long and an average of 1 mile wide, the Loch can immerse the world’s population over three timesand still have room for more. The loch is deep enough to hide all the churches and major cathedrals in Europe and still show no sign of anything above the surface of the water. The Loch is actually deeper than the North Sea and it never freezes. I am not trying to support the theory of a breeding family of Dinosaurs living there but the chances of something large living there is very possible. |

I tend to think that this isn't conclusive enough to determine that it is in fact "Nessie" I'm with Isis on this one. I don't think we ever will. |

That is true Xsas. I may not know how deep that water is. But I agree that something very large may live there now as for it being the lochness monster. heh heh. no I am sorry it does not exist not in our current time frame. Maybe at one time when the Dino's were around there may have been a creature that looked like the Lochness. Saying it exists now is purely unethical. Unless diffenitve proof is shown. |
