I voted yes. I do believe we have landed on the moon as to it being the date they said I'm not to sure.

I have heard some interesting things that it could have been staged. who knows.

though we will never know the truth.

Why won't we ever know the truth? As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason for people to think we didn't land on the moon when they first say we did.

Outside of the last 6-12 months, I never even knew so many people questioned it. Now I know they do, but I still don't understand why.

I'll try to dig out some stuff I had on this..

Isn't it something to do with the flag shadow being wrong?

I reckon it did happen... don't ask me why, but i just find it very laughable, funny almost that Buzz Aldrin and the others were bouncing around some director's basement in those suits.

Yeah...they say that the flag shouldn't bend at all in the absence of atmosphere...they fail to take into account the momentum from the astronaut fiddling with the thing trying to set it up. <_<

Also, from what I heard the flag was actually made with flexible wire so it would stay up. cos there's no wind on the moon, it'd just droop down and wouldn't look like it was blowing in the wind.

I think my mum told me that though. She could be wrong

No, no, you're absolutely right. They ran wire through it to keep it up.

People say it shifts to and fro and shouldn't, but they forget about the astronaut standing there moving it.

I would say that it did indeed happen. I do remember hearing or reading that there was some kind of mad race to see who would reach the moon first and the President of the USA was in a big hurry to see this happen. I think that's why some people question it. I would say just give credit where credit is due. As for the flag, I remember also reading that it had a wire in it . What I find perplexing is that no other attempt has been made to return to the moon??? Why? some say it is because of the near fatal mission of "Apollo 13"...Idk..

Another thing that I've read recently is that they weren't sure if "Neil Armstrong" made the right quote or not...LOL...geez..talk about nit picking LOL

Do you know if the flag's still there?

I know they're talking about creating permanent lunar colonies up there now, which sounds pretty cool.

Lunar colonies? What exactly would that consist of? I haven't heard anything about that? Interesting .... Do you have any information on that?

As for the flag still being there, I imagine it would still be there. To my knowledge nobody else has been there since..LOL
