WHITTIER, Calif. - The mother of recently born octuplets may be moving to a new home and getting help to raise her brood.

Nadya Suleman's father, Ed Doud, is purchasing a $564,900 house in the city of La Habra in a deal is expected to close Friday, said Prudential Realty listing agent Mike Patel.

In a related development, television talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw said Monday that Suleman will accept a volunteer group's offer of nursing care for her children.

Suleman has been living in a Whittier home that is owned by her mother. But that property is being foreclosed on because her mother is more than $20,000 behind in mortgage payments. Doud is divorced from her mother.

The 2,583-square-foot house in La Habra, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, has four bedrooms, three baths and a large, fenced-in backyard. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet.

Nadya Suleman gave birth to octuplets on Jan. 26 after already having six other children.

Public sentiment on the birth took a sharp turn when it was learned all 14 of Suleman's children were conceived through in vitro fertilization, and Suleman is unemployed and single.

McGraw said in a statement that Suleman will accept childcare help from the nonprofit nursing group Angels in Waiting.

Suleman had previously said she wouldn't accept the group's offer to provide round-the-clock care because it would mean relocating to the mountain community of Lake Arrowhead, but a deal has been made to provide care at home, according to the statement.

Suleman is scheduled to appear on the "Dr. Phil" show Tuesday and Wednesday.

:bat: *Well maybe I should go out and have invitro and pop out 14 kids so I can live the free life with a nurse to take care of my kids...give me a break..this woman is just another one using the system to get rich and have it all..and it didn't even involve sexual relations to achieve what she wanted :bat: and her daddy can't even be mad over all the kids..cuz she didn't have sex to achieve them now did she..so now he's buying her a new home...pffft :bat: *

one of the women i work with was talking about this last week. it's fine for here to deny the help being offered by the masa because just imagine all the $ she's going to receive from the gov't. plus more $ to come in once she starts her own show on caring these poor babies...... tsk..

Exactly..and my father came from a family of 15 and I never heard of the sensationalism from that. They were a hard working family and coped.

It's too easy these days to become a celebrity. Just pop out 14 kids with no daddy and US government will foot the bill..pfffft :bat:

Nope can't even imagine it..first of all I think it would be unfair to all the children..a mother can only spread herself so thin. How is she going to be what each individual child needs from her. Every child is different even if they are identical in appearance. I think it's just selfish on her part to do what she's done. She isn't going to suffer growing up..her kids will.

Pathetic excuse for a mommy...take it from a mommy of 2 and a step mom of 1 it's tough raising just that many, and giving them as much as I can.
