Psychic Kids: Paranormal Children http://www.aetv.com/psychic-kids/ I watched a third episode of Psychic Kids today, It totally blows my mind that Childen as young as 8 and 9 experiance what their going through. Bless their lil souls, they are so grown up verbally and emotionally. It takes a toll on their health, like the lil girl on todays episode. She became physically ill and plenty of times had to be taken to a hospital. The parents feel helpless and It must be so hard for them to see their babies so scared. I really like Chip Coffey, down to earth, lol and straight forward. "Fear is Fear itself". He does well in teaching the kids to not be scared. I cant wait to see the next episode. --- Which brings me to say that the new medium/psyc guy that they have got on Most Haunted is laboured and takes a really long time to register his sences across to Yvette and the veiwers. Even Yvette seems to be impatient and hanging on a thread waiting for his responces. Its actually quite painful. Although he seemed to be correct in his readings. Derrick was a drama queen and I miss that. lol Edited by Crimson, Mar 29 2009, 12:59 AM.

Hey Crimson - Funny you just started a thread on this. I ened up watching this show last night. I didn't know it was a series though. I just saw the one episode and thought that was it. I've seen some other shows on phsychic children before and have foud it to be some of the better "evidence" in regards to psychic activity being real. The episode I saw last night had like 10 of these kids and their parents meet somewhere in Massachusetts at a camp ground. The kids kept saying they were getting this sense of fire for some reason. Some said they were seeing spirits of children that had their skin all burnt. At the end of the episode it's revealed that the camp ground did have some tragic event there previously where a fire burnt things down. There was also a kid who said he was seeing a face in one of the windows. So he gets up to point it out to people, and when the camera shows the window to you, you can see this outline of a face on it. As if someone was pushing their face up against the glass. Now I don't know how or why they would fake that, but if it was real then the image that showed up on the window was pretty amazing. It's hard to know what's genuine anymore with these shows, but with the kids it's hard to attribute their comments and what they say they saw to being something phony. |

Kids are innocent and are always trying to learn and discover themselves at and early age. Our parents.. and myself.. tell our kids that of all the stories of monsters under the bed, the Boogy man and ghosts, being told that their not real and that Its just their imagination It would be hard for kids to believe initially that they have a gift of worldy propotions. A parents fear for their child is from the dangers of the outside. But how can a parent let alone a child deal with somehting like the trauma of their experiences. These "Ghosts" entities etc dont actually hurt the children but mentally I believe It would make them stronger and more intuned people, as long as they learnt to deal with the fear. I sposse Its like anything really, if you can over come the hurdle your bound to be stronger for it. It truely amaise's me, my daughter has DeJaVu all the time and I tell her to remember It a learn from it. I have them now and they freak me out, not as much as when i was a kid. So when my Lil Miss tells me shes done this before, or have we been here, I tell her "very well maybe". Kids imaginations are amaising and I never disregard anything they put to me. I feel lucky when I find Ive learnt something from them. |

Oh, I've had a my fair share of deja-vu experiences too Crimson. It's not like it happens to me everyday, but it does seem to happen with me fairly often. I never know what to make of it. And yea, children are pretty amazing. I learn more from them sometimes than I do from adults. |

Helping kids to achieve empowerment is okay, But, like a lot of things I dont believe in nothing till I see it with my own eyes. That what I was worried about to Isis when I first saw the program, kids imaginations are endless and the fear can give a great impression. |

That's all very true. And while I was impressed with some of the kids, I must admit that some of the stuff seemed to be a bit too 'produced' if you know what I mean. But on the other hand, I have to believe that some of these kids do see and experience the things they say have have happened to them. I guess I'd have to watch more episodes to give a better opinion on how the show comes off (whether it seems real, or always feels somewhat staged). |

I just watched this the other night I think?? Only they were kids from Iowa..older teenage kids..anyhoo...I'm thinking well kids can be very imaginative and when they are told to sit and try to come up with how a room feels to them..they come up with all kinds of stuff and being kids well I tend to think their imagination gets the best of them. |

it can be hard for kid to recognise when they're actually seeing things though, i had that problem when i was 5/6 - i thought i was imagining things but apparently i wasn't after all... hmm, i'd watch the show if we had it over here, and if mum wouldn't kill me for always using all our bandwidth up :P |

It seems to be that the over all results of the tests have improved once the kids where introduced into an area that had alot of activity going. CL I have to agree but disagree with ya. While I feel that each child should be given the right to improve his or her talents in this area, I don't see why the parents should be so torn up about this. How ever like wise if the child is not mature enough to handle it I would hold off on such experience until they are able to understand what is going on. Even at that mystical being at such a young age while its true there might be a possibility that their imaginations get the better of them how ever it would not be completely true to let this discourage or discredit them for trying to make an attempt as to what is going on. |
