The Centennial Light Bulb is installed in a fire station in Livermore, California. It was first screwed in in 1901. As you can see it is still burning now. Why cant they make things like they used to? http://www.centennialbulb.org/photos.htm |

Oh yeah I heard about this one, Very cool stuff and I agree with what has been said. But unfortunately making things that outlast the business is bad for business I could swear that the worlds oldest burning lightbulb has been burning alot longer then that. But eh its nice to see that there is something we could rely on
