As above, what Mythological set of stories is your favorite, and why? Is it Greek, Norse, Japanese, something else?

I really enjoy Greek Mythology - Gods, Warriors, Titans, all of that is interesting, fun, and inspirational. Achilles, Heracles, Perseus, all of these inspire me to try harder, to try my best.

I became very interested in American Indian, not, I think, mythology, but knowledge. I have found that in "the middle of nowhere", sitting or lying without movement, many things can be seen that otherwise can not.

The knowledge of the Din'e (Navajo tribe) is extensive, and very interesting, by my own knowledge.

I think there is a lot of "truth" hidden in "mythology".

I go in phases from Siksika (Blackfeet indian), to norse, chinese, greek, egyptian, etc. Guess I have mythology ADD.
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Norse mythology is cool. I always liked the one where the Giants test Thor's strength and drinking ability!

Vampire folklore based mainly in the northern hemisphere, Europe. Fascinated with castles, I got to see many whilst on a boat ride on the Rhine in Germany! Interested in Gypsies and a Lil bit of Voodoo!

Voodoo is kind of neat. It's sort of a mixture of Catholicism and African ritual magic. Voodoo practitioners believe they can serve as "horses" to be possessed by "riders", which are powerful spirit entities.

I suppose I like a lot of the myths; from the Olympian Gods, Egyptians to Greek Mythology Etc.

But I have always enjoyed The Mesopotamian Myth "The Epic of Gilgamesh".

Gilgamesh is awesome. It's a story of the Flood that is much older than the Bible.

High Priestess of the Temples of Syrinx

Mythology pretty well sucks. The Romans stold all their deities from the Greeks and Norse. Zeus = Odin and all that. We have our own mythologies these days. Star Trek has it's own following, as does Star Wars and Doctor Who. I will continue to kneel before the great god "Clicker Box" that always allows me to view amazing crap that i cannot experience in real life, like having huge boobs, perfect teeth and an incredible tan. Not that I don't anyways, but... um... what?
