Pokemon EXP Mechanics

Your Pokemon only gains Experience if it Wins a battle. Each time you battle and win, Experience (EXP) is gained like this:
(Loser's Level) - (Winner's Level) +X = Exp
X is based on your level.
if Level is 1-10 X=5
if Level is 11-20 X=4
if Level is 21-30 X=3
if Level is 31-40 X=2
if Level is 41-50 X=1
If your Pokemon is fighting a trained Pokemon (either another trainer or NPC), it gains 1.5x the EXP, rounded down.

Experience is divided by the number of Pokemon that participated in fighting the particular enemy.

NOTE: If in the equation above Exp < 1, your Pokémon automatically gains 1 exp.

Fainted Pokemon that were not revived gain no EXP.

Example:
Fre's level 6 Onini is fighting Shed's level 8 Brinkey. Fre realizes he is at a disadvantage and switches out to his level 5 Jonsis. Fre eventually wins.
Onini: (8 - 6 +5) x1.5 /2 rounded down = 5 EXP
Jonsis (8 - 5 +5) x1.5 /2 rounded down = 6 EXP
