Well it is excellent to see that we are voting on things but just how are non-members supposed to be prevented from voting if we are doing it by polling? |

I suggest getting an admin to password protect the discussion forum and PM the password to RA members. Someone wanna do it? I'm only a Mod. But for the moment we have to trust in the honesty of the members of The Exodus. |

Excellent idea Tact. Can you IM Josh and ask him if it is possible to password protect the voting section of the RA threads? I'd hate to see all of the RA pw protected tho because I think it is important that all members of TE can easily visit the RA and observe. If pw protection is not possible, the next best thing is to have folks post a yes or no comment on the thread and count votes that way. |

It's fairly simple to make it so some user groups can't do anything in certain forums through if you're an admin. I say whoever is an admin makes a new user group (RA or something), and make it so we're the only ones who can post in this forum. |

Thanks for that info PM. Would that mean that everyone on the forum would be able to read the posts on the RA forum but only those in the user group would be able to post and vote? I think that's what you mean but just wanted to be completely clear. If so, then I say Tact gets with Josh to make this happen ASAP. |

The seperate RA group should for those who are only members. As admins or mods who wish to join the RA would have to lose their powers. But as i think most admins or mods will have joined the RA I think that's fine. I'll see to it asap. |

A seperate classification can be established for RA's. The Voting forum could have this classification set to ONLY RA. |

Exactly DS. As for mods, you could make to RA groups, labeled the same, or if it won't let you do that, add a space or something. One group without mod power, one with. It's really easy to do in the admin section of Invision boards. |
