Post any random tips+tactics for Black Ops here!

My tip: Find "your" gun. Learn it, live it, and love it. Don't be tempted to use the FAMAUG/74u/Commando just because they're "the best". Find what YOU'RE good with. For example, if you LIKE the Enfield, and dislike the FAMAS, use the Enfield if you feel you're better with (and enjoy said gun) it.

Start doing bad? Try to change gun for a while, works often. Defending? Switch position after every kill.

Don't do the obvious. If you go to top yellow house on Nuketown immediately post-spawn, you're done.

Try to set up situations so that you have the advantage I.E. you have more cover and see them first. Especially do this if your internet is not great.

I agree with Dodgy. Use what you like. I use Skorpions because they fit my playstyle.

Take advantage of equipment. I use the Motion Sensor in low-traffick flanking routes that I often used if I'm on the other side to keep an eye on enemies creeping on a desolate area.

Bring the fight to the enemy but use your environment effectively. A little hump in the ground is more than enough to cover most your body if you go prone. The one who gets the initiative is usually the one who will win given the very low TTK.

Take advantage of your perk set-up. Don't use a Flak Jacket with Hacker - their worth more or less cancel each other out. If you use Scavenger take advantage of tactical grenade replenish and throw them around corners. You never know if you'll get a hitmarker. Scavenger Pro and Tactical Mask Pro is a lethal combination to weed out enemies before even engaging them.

Always check your flanks. You never know who is creeping up behind you and never stay in one spot for too long or you'll eventually get swarmed.

in objective games run the low traffic routes that you never really see people on, almost no1 is like ark with the motion sensors so sneaking up behind the whole enemy team like that = instant 3+ killstreak

MAke sure when you flank to use supressor. If you do let's say hq,you flank them and start taking them down. Without supressor=1 kill and the whole team will shoot at you, supressor=pick them off 1 by 1! It's an easy tip but useful.

Reload after every gunfight. Then you won't be caught reloading when you don't want to.

Flash/stun around corners, especially if you know enemies are there. If you stun, strafe in front of them. Slower movement time=easy kill, if done right. Flash=dropshot. Majority will spray left and right when flashed. Few will drop to the ground. Go low.

Pie corners. By pie, I mean take it wide. You can get a jump on the enemy when checking the corner. Less of you is also exposed, making you a harder target.

When entering rooms or buildings, try it in pairs, and flash or stun said building/room before entry. When entering a room, do a peripheral sweep as you enter.

Suppressor is very underrated IMO. Pair it with dual mag or extended mag and flank with it. More shots or quicker reload, and being quiet. Also crouch or prone. Again, most people are prone to left and right sweeps, forgetting to look up and down.

When snipping, don't sit in one place. Snipe, move, snipe move. Keep the enemy guessing.

Switching to your pistol is VERY beneficial, especially if you're not using sleight of hand. And since most pistols will aim back to center with little recoil, especially the python, they can be the edge to finish someone off.
